After establishing a foothold in the eastern high-rise buildings, Russian forces began attacking at multiple points, overwhelming the limited Ukrainian defenders. They were able to advance towards the main Ukrainian stronghold in School no. 1. Fierce battles broke out for the school, but eventually Ukraine fell back to the city council and surrounding 3-story buildings which also eventually fell.

Russian forces then advanced in the north of the city centre along the highway towards the fish farm. Ukraine then conducted a tank counterattack but failed to make any advances.

The main Ukrainian defence outside the Thermal Power Plant coalesces around the western-most high-rise buildings. There are also some Ukrainian formations still in the main part of the city centre near Sobornyy Avenue and Pushkina street.

I just realised, Russia is less than 10km from the borders of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

This time last year they were around 52km away.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces marginally advanced in the Siversk direction.

Here, a Russian APC advanced from the railway line and dropped of Russian soldiers. These soldiers then went on to clear the Ukrainian positions in the treeline.

These positions are on the high ground. If the rest of the heights are captured, advances on southern Siversk will become easier.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces advanced in the direction of Ukrainka, capturing new treeline positions.

After they bypassed the village of Pushkino from the south, this small sector of the front largely stalled as the main effort was to push Ukraine out of Pushkino and advance on Novoolenivka from the north. Now that this has likely been acomplished, Russian forces appear to have restarted offensive operations in the direction of Ukrainka.

Russian tanks advanced through the lowlands near the village's eastern outskirts but were unable to reach it. However, the position of these tanks indicates that Russian forces managed capture the two treelines to the east, likely as a result of small infantry assaults.

The territory to the west of this advance continues to go downhill, meaning that Russia will be able to advance with relative ease towards the border of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. There are also little to no defensive fortifications in this area which makes the defense of this territory even more difficult for Ukraine than it already would've been.

Joint American-British airstrikes were carried out on Sana’a, Yemen a short time ago .

The U.S. central command reported that their forces carried out a precision airstrike against a “key command and control facility operated by Iran-backed Houthis within Houthi-controlled territory in Sana’a, Yemen.”

According to them, the targeted facility was a hub for coordinating Houthi operations, such as attacks against U.S. Navy warships and merchant vessels in the Southern Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
