Last night, the Israeli Airforce conducted an airstrike on the UNRWA-run "Ahmed Abdel Aziz" school in the city of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Local Palestinian sources reported that 20 people were killed, and that the school was sheltering displaced people.
Around 10 hours after the airstrike, the IDF released a statement claiming that it conducted a "precise strike on Hamas terrorists who were operating inside a command-and-control center" embedded inside the school.
This school is a part of Israel's designated humanitarian "Safe Zone".

The Iranian ambassador to Syria, Hossein Akbari, has announced that the Iranian Embassy in Damascus, Syria will soon reopen.
He stated in an interview with an Iranian News Channel that "Our goal is to resume the activities of the embassy as soon as possible. These people [groups in control of Syria] have expressed their readiness to provide the necessary guarantees for the security of the embassy and its related activities".
He also said that "Syria will not become like Libya, but it will face some challenges similar to those of Libya".

Today, one Russian Tu-95ms aircraft redeployed from Olenya airbase in Murmansk Oblast to Ukrainsk Airbase in Amur Oblast (Southeastern Russia)
This is interesting as for a while Russia was focusing on accumulating strategic bombers at Olenya airbase for combat sorties.
We should get new satellite imagery of Olenya airbase soon which will give us a better idea of what the situation is there.
