Russian forces continued their offensive in the western part of the Kursk salient, and have eliminated the Ukrainian salient northwest of Lebedevka.
This salient formed after Russian forces seized Lebedevka and Sverdlikovo, with a few Ukrainian groupings remaining stationed in the treelines. However, Russian forces were able to advance, and capture these three treelines. They also gained a foothold on a fourth one.
Russia then went on to attack west towards the settlement of Loknya with armoured vehicles but was repelled by Ukrainian forces.

Ukrainian forces advanced from their positions in the northwestern-most part of the city, moving west through the residential area. They were able to take up positions in a number of residential blocks, alleviating some of the pressure on the southern part of the district.
