Russian forces continued their offensive in the western part of the Kursk salient, and have eliminated the Ukrainian salient northwest of Lebedevka.

This salient formed after Russian forces seized Lebedevka and Sverdlikovo, with a few Ukrainian groupings remaining stationed in the treelines. However, Russian forces were able to advance, and capture these three treelines. They also gained a foothold on a fourth one.

Russia then went on to attack west towards the settlement of Loknya with armoured vehicles but was repelled by Ukrainian forces.

Israel has closed all border crossings into Gaza, cutting off all humanitarian aid flowing into the strip.
