During a storming operation of the West Bank city of Qalaqiya, Israeli soldiers besieged a residential building and fired an "Energa" shell at it, resulting in the building catching fire.

Shortly afterwards, gunfire was heard, likely between Palestinian militant(s) barricaded inside the building, and Israeli special forces.

Israeli soldiers also arrested a Palestinian man in the same neighbourhood of the city, although this was likely a separate incident.

A strike was carried out on a defense industry enterprise in Sumy

"Militarist" writes that our troops hit the Sumy Machine-Building Scientific and Production Association, where they previously produced 125-mm tank barrels for T-80 tanks, and also produced compressors and high-precision products.

At present, repairs and production of equipment for the Ukrainian Armed Forces were carried out there.

👉This sounds more logical to me, there is a hospital there though, and it makes a good Ukrainian cover story, but the fact that no one was killed "officially", makes me believe the hospital was not hit directly.
Incidentally, this is also the hospital where they receive all the dead from Kursk.

There are unconfirmed reports of a Ukrainian F-16 being shot down by a Russian S-400 air defence system over Sumy Oblast. F-16s have been increasingly active over Sumy Oblast and even Sumy city, coming within range of Russian air defence missiles.
The reports of the F-16 being shot down over Sumy Oblast last week are now confirmed to be fake.

F-16s and Mirage-2000s flew very low over Sumy yesterday.

In the Sumy direction, Russian forces intensified their assault operations west of Sudzha and managed to break through Ukrainian positions towards the international border.

Russian forces bypassed the rest of the village of Gogolevka, where Ukrainian formations are holding a strong defence. They advanced down the R-200 Sudzha - Yunakivka highway, recapturing treeline positions. They also attacked southwest through the forest plantations in the low-lying ground, capturing Ukrainian positions there too.

Once Russian assault detachments had reached the end of the forest plantations, assault operations began on the Sudzha border crossing. Ukrainain forces are making a stand there, putting up significant resistance and likely repelling Russian attacks. So far, it doesn't appear as if Russian forces have gained a foothold at the border crossing, but more information will probably become available in the coming days.

Nevertheless, this does complicate Ukraine's defensive position in Gogolevka, as the lines are now stretched further, and Russia has the ability to get to the rear of Ukrainian defences there.

In the Belgorod direction, Ukrainian forces continued their offensive operations and have made further progress.

Ukraine advanced in two main areas and is utilising small groups of infantry to conduct assault operations. In the west, Ukrainian forces crossed the Udava River, establishing control over the forests on its eastern bank. They then pushed up the nearby treelines, and captured most of the forest southeast of the village of Popivka.

Ukrainian forces also pushed from their positions near the international border further north, crossing fields and gaining a foothold in the first houses of Popivka, where positions were established.

Meanwhile, further west in Demidovka, Ukrainian forces continued to push through the village and have captured the central parts, including the administrative building. The southeastern end of Kolhoznaya street and all of Sportyvnaya street are now in the grey zone.

+ ~3.48km² in favour of Ukraine.

Correction of the frontline in favour of Ukraine in the southern Ukrainian Oskil bridgehead.

Ukrainian forces advanced from treeline positions on the edge of the tactical heights and captured further positions west of the villages of Kopanky and Stepny. They secured 6 treelines (some of which were previously in the grey zone) on the tactical heights, recapturing positions in them. The grey zone now extends to the centre of Stepny.

Additionally, the frontline was corrected west of Kopanky, with Ukrainian forces confirmed to be in full control of the treeline there.

+ ~4.41km² in favour of Ukraine.

In the Toretsk direction, both Ukrainian and Russian forces are making progress.

In Toretsk city, Russian forces advanced in two main areas. In the north, they recaptured a small residential area next to the stadium, before storming and capturing the stadium buildings.

Further south in the Zabalka district, Russian forces began clearing Ukrainian positions in the north of the district, reaching the westernmost Terykon. They then attacked south, reaching Peremohy Street, however despite this, Ukrainian forces likely maintain positions near the church further east.

Meanwhile further west, Ukrainian soldiers from Azov made significant progress in pushing the Russians back to the town of Niu-york. They advanced from their newly recaptured positions in central Shcherbynivka, and advanced for around 2.6km down the eastern bank of the Kryvyi Torets River, reaching the northern edge of the village of Nelipivka, therefore completing the capture of Shcherbynivka.

Additionally, Azov advanced from their positions in southern Novospaske, and captured the village of Leonidivka. They also seized positions in the treelines and forest plantations to the west of the village.

+ ~4.33km² in favour of Ukraine
+ ~0.45km² in favour of Russia

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces intensified their assault operations and captured two villages.

Russian forces from the 68th regiment advanced from positions southwest of the town of Niu-York, moving through a forest, before capturing the village of Panteleimonivka. They also captured treelines northeast and southeast of the village.

Afterwards, Ukrainian forces in Oleksandropil were in an increasingly difficult position, so once Russian forces began attacking the village from the south, Ukrainian forces put up little resistance, resulting in its quick capture. Treelines south, southwest and west of the village were also captured.

Additionally, the frontline was corrected west of Niu-York, with Russian forces now confirmed to be in full control of the treelines and forest plantations there.

+ ~16.60km² in favour of Russia.

🇰🇬🇹🇯⚡️- The Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan has ratified a new treaty on the official demarcation of Kyrgyzstan's border with Tajikistan. Tajikistan's Assembly of Representatives, the lower house of Tajikistan's parliament, has also ratified the same agreement.

The two countries are moving to officially demarcate and solve their border disputes, which caused clashes between Kyrgyz and Tajik troops in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan both have unsettled border disputes covering over half of their border, meaning the ratification of this treaty will seriously change their border and how it appears on maps.
