The L1 group is like a funnel to direct current and ex serving members to a place to co-ordinate in person vetting where we will confirm your service in order to add you to layer 2 [L2]. There may be some scope for online vetting for L2 depending on necessity and vetter availablity.

The L1 group is also a place for you to chat with and support other current and ex serving members.

Meeting points are as follows:
Snowy Valleys people are meeting at 7am at South Gundagai McDonald's.
Then we will drive in convoy to Snake Gully (The Dog on The Tuckerbox) Servo at 7.15am...we will be there at 7.30am.
Where we will meet up with the North bound full convoy at about 8am, and travel with them to Parliament House Canberra, via the Yass Space Station. Arriving at Parliament House about 10am.
If you want to just meet us at Snake Gully at 7.30am feel free.

There's a story behind this video that's been getting around.

AVF members attended a rally in Melbourne on Saturday the 29th of January, they met a group of ex police officers also attending the rally.
They walked together and shared their stories, then something amazing happened, a lady came upto them and asked for a hug and someone captured this moment of unity between police, military and the people on camera.
It was originally posted without the knowledge that ex police were also involved, so an AVF member got in contact with the person who posted this heartwarming video and they updated it. Thank you ❤️
