Britain is considering sending one of its two aircraft carriers to the Red Sea to fight Yemen's Ansar Allah (Houthi) rebel movement. This was reported by The Daily Telegraph newspaper with reference to the Deputy Minister of Defense of the United Kingdom James Hippie.

According to him, the British warship can replace the American aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in the combat patrol area.
