The worst way to greet ‘Eid is by sinning. You spent an entire month repenting to Allāh for the evil you've committed and the sins you've done, don't think that Allāh stops Watching you once Eid begins.
Two common sins that are committed on ‘Eid are Tabarruj and free-mixing between the genders.
Don't go out on ‘Eid with your faces/hands uncovered, your body scented in perfumes, with high heels, and adorned clothing. Your henna is and adornment, and your hands are already supposed to be covered, but when you adorn them and show them it’s sin on top of sin. Your makeup is an adornment, and although your face should already be covered, displaying it and adorning it double the sin. Your eyes should also remain as they are, with no Kohl, eye shadow, or mascara.
“And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment.” [An-Noor]
If Allāh does not want you to let men know what jewelry and adornments you have concealed, imagine the sin if you didn't even conceal it, but instead wore it openly and proudly.
Don't post selfies for every man to see, have some shyness.
"And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance..." [Al-Ahzāb]
Don't make a wanton display of yourself, and if you do so, you should know that Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ have cursed the women who do Tabarruj.
In Saheeh Muslim and elsewhere it is narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet ﷺ said: “There are two types of the people of Hell whom I have not seen: men with whips like the tails of cattle with which they strike the people, and women who are clothed but naked, walking with an enticing gait, with something like the humps of camels on their heads. They will not enter Paradise nor even smell its fragrance, and its fragrance can be smelled from such and such a distance.” and in some narrations it comes "curse them, for they are cursed".
Al-Mawdoodi said, “The word ‘Tabarruj’, when used in relation to a woman, has three meanings:
1 - When she exposes the beauty of her face and body before non-Mahram men.
2 - When she exposes the beauty of her clothes and jewelry before them.
3 - When she exposes herself before them through the way she walks, and moves.”
‘Abdullāh Ibn Mas’ūd رضي الله عنه said, “Women are but an ‘Awrah (something private to be covered). A woman might leave her house without there being any problem with her, but the Shaytān seeks her out and says [to her], ‘You will not pass by anyone except that you will impress/please him.’ A woman puts on her clothes and is asked where she is going, to which she replies, ‘To visit a sick person,’ or ‘to attend a funeral’, or ‘to pray in the Masjid’; but a woman never worships Allāh in the way she does when she worships Him in her house. [At-Tabarāni]
Sisters must also remember to lower their gazes from the brothers, it is better for their hearts and to keep their minds pure of filth.
As for free-mixing, then the sisters should remember that your male cousins are not your mahrams, your brother in laws are not your mahrams, your distantly related male "uncles" are not your mahrams, and your male childhood family friends are not your mahrams. For these men, you cannot sit in the same room, chat with them, have a good time together, eat at the same table, or display yourself and your adornments to them. Same for the brothers, they cannot free mix with the females mentioned in the categories above. Family/friend visits should be strictly segregated.
Shaykh Nāsir Al-Fahd فك الله أسره said, "Allah The Almighty Commanded women to let down their Jilbābs over themselves, to cover their faces, and to not display their adornment to non-mahram men, and he ordered them to stick to their homes, and he forbid for them the Tabarruj of Jāhiliyyah and he forbid them from being alone with men or to mix with them, or to travel without a Mahram, and other than

Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, obligated payment of charity at the end of Ramadan, a portion of dates or barely, upon slave and freeman, male and female, young and old among the Muslims. The Prophet ordered it to be given before people go out for Eid prayer.

Ḥadīth on Hypocrisy: The Prophet ﷺ fears scholars with ignorant hearts
‘Umar Ibn al-Khaṭṭāb reported: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said, “Verily, among what I fear most for my nation is every hypocrite with a knowledgeable tongue.”
Source: Musnad Aḥmad 140
Grade: Ṣaḥīḥ (authentic) according to Aḥmad Shākir
Explanation: This describes one who displays knowledge on his tongue while at the same time having an ignorant heart and ignorance in his actions. Such a person has taken knowledge as a craft with which he displays himself as one of prestige and admiration of his own personal attainments. He calls the people to Allāh yet this very same person tries to escape from Allāh. He criticizes the faults of others while he does what is worse. A wolf in disguise who displays to the people devotion and worship.

*Small reminder for myself firstly and thereafter my beloved brothers and sisters:*
Many muslims will check out and relax tonight despite it being the 29th Night and still possibly Laylatul Qadr.
Thoughts of Eid preparations will likely occupy their minds.
Remember the Messenger عليه السلام said;
Actions are judged by their endings
Ibn Al Jawzi says: “the racehorse expends maximal effort to win when it sees the finish line so it can win, so do not allow the racehorse to be more intelligent than you!”
In reality, my brothers and sisters we should strive to make this night our best night in terms of ibādah and striving ...
... *for you may never see Ramadan again*

The most beloved deed to Allah is to make a Muslim happy, or to remove one of his troubles, or to forgive his debt, or to feed his hunger. That I walk with a brother regarding a need is more beloved to me than that I seclude myself in this mosque in Medina for a month. Whoever swallows his anger, then Allah will conceal his faults. Whoever suppresses his rage, even though he could fulfill his anger if he wished, then Allah will secure his heart on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever walks with his brother regarding a need until he secures it for him, then Allah the Exalted will make his footing firm across the bridge on the day when the footings are shaken.”

*Seal the Month of Ramadan with Seeking Forgiveness*
Translated
by
Abbas Abu Yahya
Ibn Rajab -Rahimahullaah- said:
‘Seeking forgiveness is a seal for all righteous deeds.
It seals the prayer, Hajj, Qayyam al-Layl the night prayer and it seals gatherings.
Therefore, if it was a Remembrance of Allaah then it is like putting a stamp of seal on it and if there were mistakes and deficiencies then it would be an expiation for it.
Likewise it is befitting to complete the month of Ramadan with seeking forgiveness.
Umar bin AbdulAziz wrote to the different regions commanding them to complete Ramadan with seeking forgiveness and giving Sadaqa al-Fitr.
Indeed Sadaqa al-Fitr is purification for the fasting person from mistakes and evil deeds and seeking forgiveness patches that which is torn from the fast due to mistakes and evil deeds.
This is why some of the previous scholars said: ‘Indeed Sadaqa al-Fitr for the fasting person is like performing the two Sajdas for forgetfulness for the prayer.’
Umar bin AbdulAziz (died 101 A.H.) -Rahimahullaah- said in his book, say as your father Adam said:
{رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ}
《They said: “Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.”》[Ara’af:23]
Say as Nuh -alayhi as salam- said:
{وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُنْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ}

The month of Ramadhaan is departing, but do not be sad upon its departure. Rather, praise Allaah that He has allowed you to reach this blessed month. Be happy and declare the greatness of your Lord that He has guided you to Fast in it and offer the night prayers.
The month of Ramadhaan is departing, but don't let these good deeds depart with it. Do not bid farewell to these good deeds. Take them and continue with them - not only till the end of the year - but rather till the end of your lives.
Ramadhaan is not merely a month. Rather, it is a way of life, and a beginning of a change towards good.
Remember, Salaah does not end with Ramadhaan, neither does Fasting end with Ramadhaan, nor does the recitation of the Qur'aan end with Ramadhaan.
Remember, the Lord of Ramadhaan is also the Lord of Shawwaal, Dhul-Qa`dah, and other months.
So, do not abandon Fasting in other months (i.e., Fast a few days every month).
And do not abandon the recitation of the Qur’aan in other months.
And do not abandon the Masaajid in other months.
{And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death)}
📚 [Surah al-Hijr (15):99]
May Allaah accept our good deeds and allow us to continue doing them even after Ramadhaan. Aameen

If you want your heart to soften ❤️

⚡️I used to believe that it was the slave who would first love Allaah so that Allaah would love him, till I read the saying of Allaah
{Allaah will bring a people whom He will love, and they will love Him}
📚[Surah al-Maaidah (5): 54]
So, I learned that the first one who loves is Allaah (and He makes you love Him).
⚡️ And I used to believe that it was the slave who would first repent so that Allaah would forgive him, till I read the saying of Allaah
{Then He (Allaah) turned to them so that they might repent}
📚 [Surah al-Tawbah (9): 118]
So, I learned that it is Allaah who first guides you towards repentance so that you may repent (and then He accepts your repentance).
⚡️ And I used to believe that it was the slave who would first try to please Allaah so that Allaah would be pleased with him, till I read the saying of Allaah
{Allaah being Well-Pleased with them, and they with Him}
📚[Surah al-Bayyinah (98): 8]
So, I learned that the first one who is pleased is Allaah (and then He makes you pleased with Him).

Attachments
Attachments are everything that the heart gets deeply attached to besides Allah and His Messenger (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam), like worldly pleasures, desires, leadership, being in the company of people and loving them.
There is no way at all to cut off or reject these three matters except by strong attachment to the highest issue. Man does not abandon his beloved or that which is used to except for the sake of another beloved one who is dearer to him than the former. And whenever his attachment to his desires becomes stronger, his attachment to others would be weaker, and vice versa.
To be attached to desires is to have a strong desire for them, and that is according to one’s knowledge about it, its honor and its excellence.

“The hearts of the righteous people are filled with longing, lamenting from the pain of departure[of Ramadhaan].
How can a believer not shed tears upon its [Ramadhaan] departure when he does not know if he will live to see it again?
O Ramadhaan! Be gentle, the tears of your lovers are pouring out. Their hearts are torn from the pain of your departure.
Perhaps standing to bid you farewell will extinguish the burning fire of longing.
Perhaps taking a moment to repent will mend everything that has been torn in past.
Perhaps one cut off from the procession of those whose fast has been accepted will be joined with them.
Perhaps the one imprisoned by his sins will be freed.
Perhaps one deserving to be punished in Hell will be liberated.
Perhaps the mercy of the Lord will be granted to the sinner."
O Ramadhaan! Be gentle, the tears of your lovers are pouring out.
