📖📌 The pain of what has passed:
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله writes:
“(The pain) of what has passed can not be removed by grieving over it, but only through:
• Acceptance (i.e. being pleased with Allaah's Decree) (al-Ridhaa)
• Gratitude (al-Hamd)
• Patience (al-Sabr)
• Faith in Predestination
(al-Imaan bil-Qadr)
and the saying of the slave:
“It is the decree of Allāh and what He Wills, He Does” (قَدَّرَ اللَّهُ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ)."

🍃 *What remains a Sadaqa Jaariyah?*
Anas Ibn Maalik (radiyAllahu anhuma) narrated that the Messenger of Allāh (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said,
🌻The reward of seven things continue after a person passes away whilst he is in his grave:
• Knowledge he taught,
• a river he made,
• a well he dug,
• a tree he planted,
• a masjid he built,
• a copy of the Qur'aan he left behind and
• a child who asks forgiveness for him.

📖 Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Some people from the Ansaar asked the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam and he gave them. Then they asked for charity again and he gave them. Then they asked again and he SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam gave them until all he had was gone. The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “If I had anything, I would not withhold it. Whoever refrains from asking others, then Allah will make him contented. Whoever would be independent, then Allah will make him independent. Whoever would be patient, then Allah will make him patient. There is no gift that is better and more comprehensive than patience.”

At the core, nobody will carry your burdens for you. While they may express sympathy or offer comforting words, the actual task of transforming your life rests solely in your hands.
They might feel empathy towards your struggles, offer a comforting embrace, or express their condolences with a simple "I'm sorry to hear that." Some might even provide you with advice. However, when it comes to enacting real change in your life, that responsibility is entirely yours.
1:Financial troubles? No one else will earn money for you.
2:Struggling with weight? No one else will shed those pounds for you.
3: Feeling depressed? No one else can brighten your life for you.
3:Feeling isolated? No one else will forge friendships for you.
4:Not doing well in your studies? No one else will hit the books for you.
Your actions are solely your responsibility, yet the outcomes are in the hands of Allah. As the Quran reminds us in Surah Al-Ankabut (29:6): "And whoever strives only strives for [the benefit of] himself. Indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds."
This verse encapsulates the idea that while we must take personal initiative and strive diligently, the ultimate results of our efforts are governed by the divine will of Allah.

You were born in a first class hospital, I was delivered at home, we both survived.
You went to a private primary school and I went to a public school, we both ended in the same high school.
You woke up from the bed and I woke from the floor, we both had a peaceful night rest.
Your outfits are all expensive, mine are all simple and cheap, we both still cover our nakedness.
You ate fried rice and roasted chicken, I ate local made food but we both still ate to our satisfaction.
You ride on BMW, Revo, Lexus jeep, Range Rover, G Wagon, Hummer Jeep and I use public transport but we still got to our various destination.
You may be reading this post from your Sony xperia, BB Z10, Q10, Samsung S 21 or S 22 Ultra, IPhone14 pro and I typed it with my Touch one broken screen, we still see the message.
Lifestyle is not a competition and there are different ways to get a lot of things done, different lanes all leading to the same destination. Just because your neighbour is doing things faster does not mean you are failing.
Happiness doesn't come from having everything, but making the best out of what you have, it's all about how you see yourself.
Happiness is not having what you like. Happiness is liking what you have and being content...

You must never ask a woman her age and a man his salary..
Do you know why, Have you ever thought about it..
Well here is a beautiful insight...
It is wrong to ask a woman her age because she hardly ever lives for herself!
And it is wrong to ask a man his salary because he hardly ever spends on himself!.

📍Do you know which Islamic Month is it?❓
It is Dhul Qa’dah, one of the 4 sacred months!
💎 The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Time has come back to its original state which it had when Allah created the Heavens and the Earth; the year is twelve months, four of which are sacred. Three of them are in succession; Dhul-Qa'dah, Dhul-Hijjah and Al-Muharram, and (the fourth being) Rajab Mudar (named after the tribe of Mudar as they used to respect this month) which stands between Jumada (ath-thani) and Sha'ban."
📚Sahih al-Bukhari 4662
The Sacred Months were honored in Arab society even in the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic period). From the narrations we know that the Arabs used to cease all kinds of fighting during the sacred months of Dhul-Q’adah, Dhul-Hijjah, Muharram, and Rajab. They used to stop fighting, causing any mischief, killing, and looting etc. during these four sacred months. Even if they would see the killer of their father in front of them, they would not hurt him due to the sanctity of these months.
Sadly, we are so unaware of these months that they come and go without us noticing them, let alone honoring them.
We should honor these months that Allahﷻ has made obligatory upon us to honor.
✏️ To do so, we need to make sure that we refrain from abusing anyone physically, verbally and/or mentally
We should also refrain from all the actions that can lead to fighting, such as
⛔️ backbiting
⛔️ negative thinking
⛔️ harsh language
⛔️ jealousy
⛔️ animosity
etc.
We should also do good deeds so that Allahﷻ is pleased with us such as
✅ Fasting
✅ Praying
✅ Reciting Qur’an
✅ Enjoining good
✅ Forbidding evil
✅ Strengthening family ties
✅ Repenting for our sins
✅ Remembering Allah ﷻ excessively
✅ Giving charity
and more...
🎯Goal: Strive to do all the deeds that please Allah ﷻ and refrain from harming others which can lead to His displeasure...

Practically vs Theory
Some of the things we Muslim are very good at is quotes, knowing them, spreading them maybe even memorising them.
What really upsets me is how many of us really implements them?
Where is the real implementation of these beautiful quotes or ahadith? Where is the practical implementation of all this khair that we have in the ummah?
We need to start lifting these quotes out of the books and start dressing ourselves with them, FORGIVENESS, BRAVERY, UNITY, MERCY...
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “None of you will have faith until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.”
These attributes can’t be limited to theory anymore..we have to put it into practice.

Success only comes from Allah ﷻ and pleasing him.
There are some people who become successful in this temporary world but their hereafter is in ruins.
There are some who don’t have success in this Dunya but their hereafter will be better.
Then there are those who will have both.
