Whenever the topic of Bid
When we talk about Bid
And the evidence for this is the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: ❝whosoever does an action which we have not commanded then it will be rejected.❞
And also: ❝whosoever introduces into this religion of ours that which is not part of it then it must be rejected.❞
And there are many more Ahaadeeth.
The Second Principle:
And in the matters of customs (food, clothing etc.), everything is allowed unless prohibited in the Qur’aan and Sunnah.
And the evidence for this is the saying of Allaah
{Say: "Who has forbidden the adornment of Allaah which He has produced for His servants and the good [lawful] things of provision?"} [Surah al-A`raaf]
And Allaah is the One who Grants success.
ah comes up, to counter the argument many come up with questions like:
"Did the Prophet ﷺ travel in a ship?
Did the Salaf travel in cars and planes?
Prove from the Sunnah that it is permissible to eat fried chicken?"
One has to understand that vehicles, planes and ships are used only as a means to reach the destination, they are not part of Ibaadah in themselves. When we talk about Bid
ah, we are referring to innovations in the Deen only. We are not referring to innovations in Science and Technology.
Anyways, to get to the point, by the Will of Allaah, if the people would commit to memory these two principles, they would protect their Deen and save themselves from doubts and confusion.
The First Principle:
In the matters of Ibaadah (Worship), everything is Haraam/not allowed unless proven from the Qur’aan and Sunnah. And the evidence for this is the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: ❝whosoever does an action which we have not commanded then it will be rejected.❞
And also: ❝whosoever introduces into this religion of ours that which is not part of it then it must be rejected.❞

If a child cries at night, the mother leaves her warm bed & sleep to comfort the baby in every way possible...
What makes u think that when u cry to Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى He wont answer ur duas? He loves u MUCH MORE THAN UR MOTHER for Hes Al Waduud (the Most Loving)
Prophet (sallal lahu alaihi wasallam) said: “Allah is more merciful to His believing servants than that mother could ever be to her child.” [Bukhari 10/426 & Muslim 18/80]
So call on Al Waduud in this blessed month and have no doubt that He will respond that He will aid u <3

Division and differences among this ummah is something inevitable, to which history bears witness, as do the texts of the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
The hadith is known, famous, hasan, good chain of narration. More than one companion narrated this hadith. Where the Prophet (ﷺ) addressed his companions that one day, he said to them (ﷺ):
"The Jews split up into 71 sects, and the Christians split up into 72 sects, and you Muslims, will split up into 73 sects. ALL of them will be in the HELLFIRE, except for ONE ..."
Now there is a debate amongst the Scholars of Aqeedah will they be in Hell permanently (forever) or will they go to Hell for a period of time and they will come out because they belong to the people of Tawheed. But for sure they will experience the burning of the Hellfire whether temporarily or permanently (forever).
Then the Prophet (ﷺ) made an exception: "ALL of them will be in the HELLFIRE, except for ONE ..."
(except one sect, one saved sect from the Hell-Fire)
He ﷺ was then asked, which one oh messenger of Allah?
There are two answers which he (ﷺ) has given:
In one narration he (ﷺ) said: "Those who are upon (follow) the very same what I and my Companions are upon (following) today."
(meaning: Those who understand the Qur'an and my Sunnah, my tradition, my way, the very same way that I and my companions do understand it and implement it)
And in another narration it was said, O Messenger of Allah, who are they? He (ﷺ) said, "Al-Jamaa’ah." [Sunan Ibn Maajah, no. 3982.]
(meaning: the group, the congregation, which adheres steadfastly to the way of the Prophet, ﷺ, and his Companions, the group that remains adhering to that which the Prophet ﷺ and his Companions followed. Those who will abided by the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ) and remained adhering to the very same way of the Prophet (ﷺ) and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) in all affairs. )
What is meant by al-Jamaa’ah is the congregation who is upon the correct aqeedah and manhaj of the Prophet (ﷺ) and his Companions.
Before we explore the "Saved Sect" because this is the Aqeedah which we are explaining, the differing and splitting of the Ummah has appeared in the fields Aqeedah, which is represented in the appearance of different sects.
Some of you may be wondering why this subject is being brought up in "Aqeedah" ? Because I'm explaining to you the Aqeedah, the Belief System of the Saved Sect (Firqat un-Najiyyah), or the Belief System of our Righteous Predecessors (As-Salaf-as-Salih), or the Belief System of AHL US-SUNNAH WAL-JAMA'AH (the People of the Prophetic Way and the Congregation), or Ahl us-Sunnah without the annexation of Jama'ah, or Ahl ul-Athar (The People of Narration), or Ahl ul-Hadith (the People of Hadith), or Ahl ul-Ittiba' (The People of Adherence and Imitation), or Al-Jama'ah' and sometimes 'Ahl ul-Jama'ah', and one more At-Ta'ifat ul-Mansurah (the Triumphed Group) based on the hadith: "There will never cease to remain a small group (tai'fah) from my Ummah clearly upon the Truth until the Hour is established."
(meaning: ‘There will always be a group in my Ummah who possess the truth (and they have it), manifestly upon the truth’, or ‘aala al haqq mansooreen’, or that they are upon the Truth, aided, taa’ifatul mansoorah, they will be victorious, they will be triumphed at the end regardless how much they are put down, and they are manifest ‘dhaahireen alaa al haqq’, that they are apparently upon the truth, they are apparent, they are not hidden, ‘they don’t conceal that which they possess, and they are not harmed by those who betray them, forsake them’, those who don’t aid them upon the haqq, those that when you expect the da’wah to be aided and the Sunnah to be aided and look around for support and you don’t find them there, because they are mukhadhileen, they are betrayers, they betray the people of Truth and they betray the Truth itself, because they don’t want to defend it, and they don’t want to stand up for the haqq.) which shows "The Saved Sect" based on that hadith)

[Reported by Muslim, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Al-Hakim and others - Sahih]
But before we explain this hadith (regarding the saved sect), I want to let you know that Islam calls for UNITY:
IN THE LIGHT OF THE QUR'AN ISLAM CALLS FOR UNITY
Qur'an and Sunnah instructing us to unite:
Allah the Exalted said:
Wa A
"And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allāh (i.e. this Qur'ān), and be not divided among yourselves..." [Qur'an 3:103]
(Hold you all, hold fast all of you to the ROPE OF ALLAH AND DO NOT DIFFER)
Allah says in another verse:
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعا ً لَسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ ۚ إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ
Verily, those who divide their religion and break up into sects (all kinds of religious sects), you (O Muhammad ﷺ, O Believers) have no concern in them in the least. Their affair is only with Allāh, Who then will tell them what they used to do. (Surat Al-An'am 6:159)
(that means we need to be united on the religion, on the Deen. In the previous verse we need to be united upon the Qur'an, the Rope of Allah; the Scholars explained the "Rope of Allah" (ĥablu Allāh) to be the Qur'an and what explains the Qur'an? Answer: The Sunnah of Rasul Allah ﷺ. Unity is only upon the Truth - That is the Rope of Allah. )
What about this verse where Allah says:
وَلاَ تَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Wa Lā Takūnū Mina Al-Mushrikīn
Mina Al-Ladhīna Farraqū Dīnahum Wa Kānū Shiya`ā ۖ Kullu Ĥizbin Bimā Ladayhim Fariĥūn
"...and be not of Al-Mushrikûn (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc.). Of those who split up their religion (i.e. who left the true Islāmic Monotheism), and became sects, [i.e. they invented new things in the religion (Bid'ah), and followed their vain desires], each sect rejoicing in that which is with it. (Surat Ar-Rum 30:31-32)
(meaning: don't be from amongst the polytheists (mushrikeen - i.e. Jews and Christians), what did they do? They split up the religion into sects and every sect is rejoicing in what they have) DO NOT BE LIKE THE JEWS AND CHRISTIANS WHO SPLITTED UP INTO SECTS REGARDING THEIR RELIGION.
IN THE LIGHT OF THE SUNNAH ISLAM CALLS FOR UNITY:
Rasul Allah ﷺ also told us to be united in more than one hadith. What about this beautiful hadith from Abdullah (Ibn Mas'ud) who said:
“One Day Rasul Allah (ﷺ) drew for us a straight long line. And then Sulayman drew for us a long, straight line. And then he (ﷺ) drew lines to its right and to its left and then said: This is the Path of Allah (the way of Allah). Then he drew lines to its right and to its left and said: These are different paths, upon each of these ways is a devil calling to it (calling you to enter).
(Do not enter into these paths on the left and the right, rather enter into the Straight Path which is the path of Allah)
And then he recited the verse:
وَأَنَّ هَـذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيماً فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
"And verily, this is my Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path. This He has ordained for you that you may become Al-Muttaqûn (the pious…" (Surat al-An'am 6/153)
(Ibn Ma'jah; Darimi; Ahmad, Musnad; Hakim, Mustadrak)
As if the verse was explaining what Messenger (ﷺ) said in the hadith.

(meaning these paths: "…for they will separate you away from His Path." (al-An'am 6/153)" Bikr bin Ala said: "He meant the devils amongst men and these are the innovations. And the Hadith has been reported in many ways.)
This explanation shows that the verse covers all the different paths of innovation and does not specify one innovation over another. Amongst the verses [that censure innovation] is the saying of Allāh, Most High,
“The Way should lead to Allāh, but there are those who deviate from it (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). If He had wished He could have guided every one of you.” [Qur’an 16:9]
The Straight Path is the path which Allāh has summoned us to, and that is the Sunnah. The other paths are the paths of the dissenters who deviate from the Straight Path, and they are the People of Innovation. What is not meant by other ways is the paths of disobedience because no one makes disobedience a path that he continuously walks in imitation of the Legal Law, rather this denoscription specifically holds true for the newly invented innovations.
If you enter into these other paths (on the left and right) which at the entrance of each one of them there is a devil calling you to enter (a devil here means some guy who is very eloquent "come here brothers, you know this is the Qur'an and Sunnah.." each sect by the way they have very eloquent speakers out there calling you, attracting you "come" doing the work of Shaitan "enter here").
Imagine you have 73 doors at the entrance of each door written "Destination to Paradise" and there is somebody calling you to it "come Jannah is here, come, you're gonna get to Jannah from here"... THERE IS ONLY ONE PATH THAT WILL TAKE YOU TO JANNAH AND 72 OF THEM WILL TAKE YOU TO HELL.
So shouldn't you learn about that door, that path, that road which will take you Jannah?
HENCE THE REASON WHY WE NEED TO STUDY AQEEDAH (THE BELIEF SYSTEM IN GENERAL) !
THAT IS WHY WE NEED TO TEACH AQEEDAH !
THAT IS WHY IT IS A VERY IMPORTANT ELEMENT OF OUR DEEN (RELIGION) !
So here it is the Qur'an and Rasul Allah is commanding us to:
فَاتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ ۚ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
"Fa Attabi
"...so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path. This He has ordained for you that you may become Al-Muttaqûn." (Surat Al-An'am 6:153)
So here we established the evidences from both the Qur’an and the Sunnah, the two sources of our belief system, the two sources of our Deen, they both call for unity.
So to begin with we need to be united but united on what basis? That’s the question. On what? On whims? On desires? No, on the true guidance which the Prophet (ﷺ) identified in that hadith:
“And this Ummah will split into seventy-three sects, all of them in the Hellfire but one”. They said, which one is this O Messenger of Allah? He (ﷺ) replied, “They are those who are upon what I and my companions are upon today”.
(The Saved Sect are those who understand the Qur’an and the Sunnah the way that Rasul Allah (ﷺ) taught it to the first generation of Muslims (the Sahabah), and in another hadith narrated by ‘Imraan bin Husayn :
إن خيركم قرني ثم الذين يلونهم ثم الذين يلونهم ثم الذين يلونهم
“Verily the best among you (to follow) is my generation (the Messenger Muhammad ﷺ and his Companions (radhi Allahu anhum), then those who follow, and then those who follow them…” [Sahih Muslim 2535]
Thus, Rasul Allah (ﷺ) added two more generations with the generation of the Sahabah. After that, anyone comes must learn their way, their understanding, and implement the Deen their way and understanding.
This explanation shows that the verse covers all the different paths of innovation and does not specify one innovation over another. Amongst the verses [that censure innovation] is the saying of Allāh, Most High,

Your Prophet (ﷺ) left you upon this end and its other end is in Paradise. So whoever remains steadily upon it will enter Paradise and whoever takes any of these lines will be destroyed.

Abū Burda b. Abut Mūsa al-Ash’arī (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported:
’Abdullāh bin ’Umar said to me: “Did you hear anything from your father narrating something from the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) about the (special) hour on Friday?” I said: “Yes, I heard him say from the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ), “It is between the time when the Imām sits down and the end of the prayer.”

Shaykh Sālih Ibn ‘Uthaymīn (may Allāh be pleased with him) said,
“..One should make the most of this opportunity and say du’ā’ between the two khutbahs. With regard to raising the hands, I do not think there is anything wrong with it, because the basic principle with regard to du’ā’ is that its etiquette includes raising the hands. So if a person raises his hands there is nothing wrong with it, and if he says du’ā’ without raising his hands there is nothing wrong with it. This has to do with du’ā’ between the two khutbahs.“
[Fatāwa Nūr ‘alā ad-Darb (Fatāwa as-Salāh/Salāt al-Jumu’ah)]
Abū Burda b. Abut Mūsa al-Ash’arī (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported:
’Abdullāh bin ’Umar said to me: “Did you hear anything from your father narrating something from the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) about the (special) hour on Friday?” I said: “Yes, I heard him say from the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ), “It is between the time when the Imām sits down and the end of the prayer.”

THE REWARD FOR THE BELIEVER FOR DYING IN OTHER THAN HIS COUNTRY OF BIRTH.
‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) said, “A man who was born in Madinah passed away in Madinah. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
‘If only he passed away somewhere other than his birthplace [i.e. If only he was born out of Madinah and passed away in Madinah].’
Someone asked ‘And why is that O Rasulullah?’ (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)
He (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) eplied, ‘When a person passes away somewhere other than his birthplace, a [place] will be measured for him in Jannah [as large as the distance] from the place where he was born to the place where he passed away.”
(Sunan Nasai; Al Mujtaba, Hadith: 1832, Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 1614, Musnad Ahmad, vol. 2 pg. 177. Refer: Hashiyatus Sindhi ‘Musnad Imam Ahmad, vol. 2 pg. 253/254). Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith authentic. (Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 2934). Ahmad, An-Nasaa’i, Ibn Maajah, and Ibn Hibbaan; Al-Albaani: Hasan (sound), Ahmad Shaakir: Saheeh (authentic)]
As for the meaning of his statement, “a space will be measured for him in Paradise (as big as the distance) from the place where he was born to the place where he died,” As-Suyooti (rahimahullah) said: “At-Tayyibi (rahimahullah) said: ‘It means that His grave will be made wider with a space as large as the distance between his grave and birthplace, and a gate to Paradise will be open for him.’”
Based on this interpretation, there is no contradiction between this Hadeeth and what was reported about the dominion given to an inhabitant of Paradise. The Hadeeth at hand is about widening his grave, and the other is about the ‘dominion’ given to him in Paradise.

📌Shaykh Muhammad ibn al-Uthaymeen was asked:
"Do you have an advice for the beginner student of knowledge?"
The Shaykh answered: “The advice to every person is that he purifies his intention for the sake of Allah (The Mighty and Majestic) and his intention should neither be leadership nor prestige, nor wealth; rather his intention should be the removal of ignorance from himself and others. And he should establish the religion, defend and guard it. This is the most virtuous thing."
[Liqaa Al-Baab Al-Maftooh 226]

Pay attention to small acts of goodness:
Imaam Ahmad (رحمه الله) reported from Abu Juray al-Hujaymi (رضي الله عنه) who said:
“I came to the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) and said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah, we are a desert people. Teach us something by which Allaah, may He be blessed and exalted, will benefit us.’ He (ﷺ) said:
‘Do not look down on any act of goodness, even if it is just emptying your bucket into the vessel of one who wants to drink, or speaking to your brother with a cheerful expression.’”

The heart in its journey towards Allah! Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, is like a bird whose head is love, while fear and hope are its two wings.
When the head and the two wings are sound and healthy the flight of the bird is good, but when the head is cut off, it immediately dies, and when either or both wings are deficient, the bird cannot properly fly and may become victim of any hunter or snare.
The righteous predecessors preferred to strengthen the wing of fear during good times when heedlessness is feared, and to
strengthen the wing of hope at times of calamity and when near death.
Some have said that it is better to strengthen fear more than hope because when vain hopes overcome a person he is ruined. Others say that the best of situation is a complete balance of hope and fear with overwhelming love, for love is composite while
hope is a sharpener and fear a driver.
(Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, Madarij As- Salikeen, pg-6)

*Allah Said:*
And give to the kinsman his due and to the Miskin (poor) and to the wayfarer. But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift. (Tafsir At-Tabari)
Verily, the spendthrifts are brothers of the Shayatin (devils), and the Shaitan (Devil-Satan) is ever ungrateful to his Lord.
And if you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) turn away from them (kindred, poor, wayfarer whom We have ordered you to give their rights, but if you have no money at the time they ask you for it) and you are awaiting a mercy from your Lord for which you hope, then, speak unto them a soft kind word (i.e. Allah will give me and I shall give you).
And let not your hand be tied (like a miser) to your neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach (like a spendthrift), so that you become blameworthy and in severe poverty.
Truly, your Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills and straitens (for whom He wills). Verily, He is Ever All-Knower, All-Seer of His slaves.

The 10th of Muharram (Ashura) is a significant day:
1. There are narrations that Makkan Arabs fasted it in Jahiliyyah as an inherited tradition of Ibrahim. Some say Nuh fasted it because it was the day his Ark came to land.
2. The Prophet met Jews who fasted it in Madinah as the day they where saved from their Pharaoh .
3. The Prophet fasted it and commanded others to fast it. It was the obligatory fasting before Ramadan was made obligatory.
4. When Ramadan became obligatory, the 10th of Muharram became a Sunnah.
5. The Prophet said he would fast the 9th a year before his death. He died without fasting it. Hence it is recommended to fast the 9th and 10th. One should only add the 11th if one has doubt about the commencement of the month.
6. It is a reprehensible innovation, bid'ah, to turn that day into a day of mourning as the Shia do. Or turn it into a celebration as the Nawasib heretics do.
7. 9th and 10th falls on Monday and Tuesday respectively. If you can't fast both days , fast Tuesday.
May Allah accept our worship.

Causes of punishment in the grave.
Debt.
Debts,to those of us borrowing money(on phone)and credit or data let know is Haram due to interest and ask yourself how will your family know you own on your phone for them to pay? And also let your family know those and amount you own from people so they can pay for you especially when you are dead.
Debt
One of the things that harm the deceased in his grave is debt that he owes. It was narrated that Sa’d ibn al-Atwal said: My brother died and left behind three hundred dinars, and he left behind young children. I wanted to spend on them, but the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to me: “Your brother is being detained by his debt, so go and pay it off.” So I went and paid it off, then I came and said: O Messenger of Allaah, I have paid it off for him, and there is nothing left but a woman who is claiming two dinars, but she does not have any proof. He said: “Give it to her, for she is telling the truth.” Narrated by Ahmad (16776) and Ibn Maajah (2/82); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’ (1550).
