There is a concept called: '𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲'
It's when a guide dog is trained to disobey its owner, if it thinks the owner is wrong, and the owner’s decision will most likely harm its owner.
For example, when a guide dog sees that the traffic light is red or if there is a cliff, and the blind owner asked it to continue going, it will disobey.
This mindset is even more important in humans!
We see many rulers, Pirs, shaykhs, cults, parents, husbands, elders etc, demand blind and full obedience.
Don't obey anyone unconditionally, don’t blindly comply, use your brain, never go on auto-pilot!
A similar incident took place at the time of the Prophet:
Narrated `Ali:
The Prophet (ﷺ) sent an army unit (for some campaign) and appointed a man from the Ansar as its commander and ordered them (the soldiers) to obey him.
(During the campaign) he became angry with them and said, "Didn't the Prophet (ﷺ) order you to obey me?"
They said, "Yes."
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱, "𝗜 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝘁."
So they collected wood and made a fire, but when they were about to throw themselves into, it they started looking at each other, and some of them said, "We followed the Prophet (ﷺ) to escape from the fire. How should we enter it now?"
So while they were in that state, the fire extinguished and their commander's anger abated.
The event was mentioned to 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘁 (ﷺ) 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱, "𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁 (𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲) 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱."

Wearing expensive clothes
The Prophet (pbuh) wore any clothes that were available, and he didn't care much about how they looked. He would wear his shoes, even if they were visibly old, until they developed holes and were no longer usable.
he, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: ‘If Allah gives you something, then let it be shown on you.’”
In another narration he, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “Allah’s blessings and generosity should be apparent on you.”
‘Ali Al-Qaari (r) said: “This means that one should wear nice clothes, so that people know that the individual is rich, and that Allah has bestowed His various blessings on that individual.”
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who has, in his heart, an ant's weight of arrogance will not enter Jannah." Someone said: "A man likes to wear beautiful clothes and shoes?" Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah is Beautiful, He loves beauty. Arrogance means ridiculing and rejecting the Truth and despising people." [Muslim].
He (PBUH) wore the shoes until they were perforated[holes], without the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) knowing whether or not they were made from the hide of a lawfully slaughtered animal.”
Grade: Sahih (Zubair `Aliza'i)
Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 73
Asma brought out to me that cloak made of Persian cloth with a hem of brocade, and its sleeves bordered with brocade and said: This wall Allah's Messenger's cloak with 'A'isha until she died, and when she died. I got possession of it. The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) used to wear that, and we waslied it for the sick and sought cure thereby.’[Muslim 2069a]
In another narration, He used to wear it for delegations and on Jumu'a.' "[Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 348b]
Wearing expensive clothes is allowed as long as you know and follow these rules:
1.Not prohibited, like silk for men
2.Not wasteful.
3. free from Arrogance and vanity.
4.Not resembeling the clothing of other religions.
Allah's messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "He who wears libaas ul-shuhra in this world will be dressed in humiliating clothes on the day of judgment." (narrated by Ahmed & Abu Dawood, confirmed sahih by Al Albani in Sahih Al-Jami' 6526)

Only an utter fool compromises his akhirah for the sake of securing the future of someone elses duniya.
One may ask,
Who is this 'someone else' here ? '
So the sad answer is, your immediate family members !!
Yes, most men engage in haram activities throughout their lives to earn more and more for their children and many of these children stare right back at them and even rebel once they grow up and hold their own personalities and choices.
Each soul on earth is to be seen as a 'someone else' when it comes to reviving their wordly life at the expense of your own akhirah.. Many people realize this very late, during their old age when it's almost too late.
The Prophet ﷺ summarised this problem of life in a beautiful hadeeth when he said :
❞مَنِ الْتَمَسَ رِضَى اللهِ بِسَخَطِ النَّاسِ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، وَأَرْضَى عَنْهُ النَّاسَ، وَمَنِ الْتَمَسَ رِضَى النَّاسِ بِسَخَطِ اللهِ، سَخِطَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَأَسْخَطَ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسَ❝
"Whoever seeks the pleasure of Allah at the cost of the displeasure of people, Allah will be pleased with him and make the people pleased with him. And whoever seeks the pleasure of people at the cost of the displeasure of Allah, Allah will be displeased with him and make the people displeased with him."
[Reported by Ibn Hibban in his Sahih, reported by Tirmidhi in his Sunan and he graded it as Hasan... Also, Sheikh Al-Albani in his book "Silsilat al-Ahadith as-Sahihah" (The Series of Authentic Hadiths), indicated that he found it to be a reliable narration after examining the various chains of transmission]
Allah ﷻ also says :
"إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ"
"Your wealth and your children are but a trial (fitnah), and Allah has with Him a great reward." (Surah Al-Taghabun, 64:15)
The verse has in it the same warning ⚠ which people ignore and fail their own tests for the sake of others.
So, in summary, unfortunate is the one who prioritizes the worldly affairs of "others" over the integrity of his own hereafter and it's always beneficial to befriend pious and experienced people elder to you to see what lies ahead in life.

Forwarded from Jannah is Our Dream
On the authority of Ibn Umar رضي الله عنه who said:
❝A man came to the Prophet [ﷺ] said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah! Which of the people are the most beloved to Allaah and which of the actions are most beloved to Allaah?’
The Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] said: ‘The most beloved of the people to Allaah are the most beneficial for the people. The most beloved of actions to Allaah [عز و جل] are to cause happiness to reach a Muslim, to relieve him from a hardship, to settle a debt for a Muslim or to repel hunger from him. For me to walk with a brother in order to assist him is more beloved to me than to make ‘Itikaf in this Masjid [Masjid al-Madeenah] for a month.
Whoever holds back his anger then Allaah hides his mistakes. Whoever suppresses his anger – even though he is not scared to show it, but withholds due to the truth – Allaah fills his heart with hope on the day of Judgement.
Whoever walks with his brother to assist him with a need until he has helped him completely, then Allaah plants his feet firmly on the day people will not stand firmly. Indeed bad behaviour spoils good actions, just as vinegar spoils honey.’❞

The Vastness Of Allah's Mercy
Salman reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:
Verily, Allah created, on the same very day when He created the heavens and the earth, one hundred parts of mercy. Every part of mercy is coextensive with the space between the heavens. and the earth and He out of this mercy endowed one part to the earth and it is because of this that the mother shows affection to her child and even the beasts and birds show kindness to one another and when there would be the Day of Resurrection, Allah would make full (use of Mercy).[ Muslim 2753c]
Commentary: So if the single part sent down to the earth entails Islam; the prayer, the fasting, and the tranquility man feel in his heart among other things which are from the mercy of Allah the Mighty and Exalted, then how tremendous are the ninety-nine parts which he has kept back for the Hereafter, the everlasting abode?! The onus is upon us to show mercy to people so that
we receive from this abundant mercy in the Hereafter. [Al Adab al Mufrad compiled by Abu Nasir Ibrahim, Dakwah corner Publications, page 81]

Give Sadaqah (charity) without delay for it repels illness and calamities
“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Tirmidhi)
“Treat your sick ones with Sadaqah. Sadaqah repels all illnesses and calamities. (Bayhaqi)
And Ibn al-Qayyim wrote, "Charity has an amazing effect on averting calamities, even if it is given by an evil person, or an unbeliever! For Allah protects the giver of charity from all types of calamities, and this is a matter that has been experienced by all peoples of this earth, and is well-known to all of mankind: the scholars and the laity."
Anas b. Malik said, "Hasten to give charity, because calamities do not fall upon the people of charity."

THE DANGERS OF INTENTIONALLY MISSING YOUR SOLATS (PRAYERS)!
Sunan Ibn Majah 1079
'Abdullah bin Buraidah narrated that his father said:
The Messenger of Allaah, Sallalahu aliehi wasallam said:" The covenant that distinguish between us and them is prayer, so whoever leaves it,he has committed Kufr"
Imaam Ahmad said that the one who does not pray because of laziness is a kafir, This is the more correct view and is that indicated by the evidence of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His messenger, and by the words of the Salaf and the proper understanding.

“…O son of Adam, I asked you for food and you fed Me not. He will say: O Lord, and how should I feed You when You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: Did you not know that My servant So-and-so asked you for food and you fed him not? Did you not know that had you fed him you would surely have found that (the reward for doing so) with Me?”
God will say on the Day of Judgment, ‘Son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me.’
‘My Lord, How could I visit You when You are the Lord of the Worlds?’
‘Did you not know that one of My servants was sick and you didn’t visit him? If you had visited him you would have found Me there.’
Then Allah will say, ‘Son of Adam, I needed food but you did not feed Me.’
‘My Lord, How could I feed You when You are the Lord of the Worlds?’
‘Did you not know that one of My servants was hungry but you did not feed him? If you had fed him you would have found its reward with Me.’
‘Son of Adam, I was thirsty, but you did not give Me something to drink.’
‘My Lord, How could I give a drink when You are the Lord of the Worlds?’
‘Did you not know that one of My servants was thirsty but you did not give him a drink? If you had given him a drink, you would have found its reward with Me.’ (Al-Bukhari)
"Seest thou one who denies the Judgement (to come)?. Then such is the one who repulses the orphan, And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. So woe to the worshippers Who are neglectful of their Prayers, Those who (want but) to be seen, But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs."- Qur'an: Chapter :Maa' uun (Neighbourly Need).

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is enough for a man to prove himself a liar when he goes on narrating whatever he hears."

On the authority of An-Nu’maan Bin Basheer in a narration ascribed to the Prophet [ﷺ]:
❝The example of the believers in their affection, mercy and compassion for each other is like the body: if a limb of it complains due to an illness, it affects the rest of the body with sleeplessness and fever.❞
[Silsilah Ahadeeth As-Saheehah of Shaykh Al-Albaani, (No. 1083) | Translated By Abbas Abu Yahya Miraath Al-Anbiyya]

When Ḥasan al-Baṣrī رحمه الله came across a group of people arguing, he would say:
والله ما هؤلاء إلا قوم ملوا العبادة. ووجدوا الكلام أهون عليهم، وقل ورعهم فتكلموا
"By Allāh, these ones have become bored of worship, speaking has become easy for them, and their piety has diminished, and that is why they talk and argue (so easily)."
[Ḥilyat al-Awliya, 2/157]
Ma’rūf al-Karkhī رحمه الله said:
إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا فَتْحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ بَابَ الْعَمَلِ وَأَغْلَقَ عَنْهُ بَابَ الْجَدَلِ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ بِعَبْدٍ شَرًّا أَغْلَقَ عَلَيْهِ بَابَ الْعَمَلِ وَفَتَحَ عَلَيْهِ بَابَ الْجَدَلِ
"If Allāh wants goodness for a servant, He opens the door of action (for him) and closes the door of argumentation, and if He wills evil for a servant, He closes the door of action (for him) and opens the door of argumentation."
[Ḥilyat al-Awliyā’, 13021]
