Nice people in real life are considered weak by evil people because they behave that way out of kindness of their heart. They can smell your kind heart and find it distasteful. The walls will someday tell the story of so many people's pain.
Be disagreeable, state your own opinions and have your own standards and don't ever let them win.
It will get you much farther in life than feigning pleasantries.

The worst lies are the ones we tell ourselves. The worst verbal abuse comes from our own tongue. The most negative influence is the devil on our own shoulder. The cruelest judge is the one staring back in the mirror. The person really withholding the love you need is you. No one will ever out-do you at your own mind-games. You must stop doing this to yourself!

Type of richness which leads to hell
Sa
“When the Messenger of Allah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, was speaking with his companions, a poor man approached and sat next to a rich man. When he did so, the rich man pulled a part of his garment towards himself, as if to not allow the man to touch it. Afterwards, the color of the Prophet of Allah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, changed, and said: ‘O so-and-so, are you afraid that sitting close
to him will cause your wealth to go to him, and his poverty to you?’
The man said: ‘Is richness bad, O Messenger of Allah?’ He, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, replied: ‘Yes; your richness calls you to Hellfire, while his poverty calls him to Paradise.’
The man said: ‘So what will save me from Hellfire?’ He, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: ‘Console him.’ The rich man said: ‘I shall do so.’ Meanwhile, the other man said: ‘I have no interest in him.’ So the Prophet of Allah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: ‘Then seek forgiveness and supplicate for your brother.’”[Ahmad in his book Az-Zuhd (pg. 38]

Ibn Al-Qayyim reported: It was said to Hasan Al-Basri, “O Abu Sa’eed, which jihad is best?” Hasan, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
جِهَادُك هَوَاك
“Your jihad against your desires.”
[Rawdat Al-Muhibeen 1/478]
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
Jihad al-nafs (jihad against one’s self) is of four kinds:
1 – Striving to learn the teachings of Islam without which one cannot attain success and happiness in this world or in the Hereafter; if this is missing then one is doomed to misery in this world and in the Hereafter.
2 – Striving to make oneself act in accordance with what one has learned. Simply knowing without acting, even though it may not cause any harm, is not going to bring any benefit.
3 – Striving to call others to Islam, teaching those who do not know about it. Otherwise one will be one of those who conceal that which Allaah has revealed of guidance and teaching, and it will not benefit him or save him from the punishment of Allaah.
4 – Striving to bear patiently the difficulties involved in calling people to Allaah and the insults of people; bearing all that for the sake of Allaah.
If a person achieves all these four levels, then he will be one of the rabbaaniyyeen (learned men of religion who practise what they know and also preach to others. Cf. Aal ‘Imraan 3:79). The salaf were agreed that the scholar does not deserve to be called a rabbaani unless he knows the truth, acts in accordance with it and teaches it to others. Whoever teaches, acts in accordance with his knowledge and has knowledge, he will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbor to his side goes hungry.” (Sahih Al-Jaami: 5382).
We learn from the Hadith that feeding the poor and needy increases a persons Eemaan (faith), therefore, bringing him closer to Allah ﷻ.
And we all need to strive to draw nearer to Allah ﷻ. This is why Ibn Al-Qayim said: “you are in need of the reward of your charity more than the poor is in need of your charity.”
Make a sincere intention and feed at least one poor person today for the sake of Allah ﷻ in order to drawer nearer to Allah ﷻ.

ANGELS PRAY WITH ONE WHO PRAYS ALONE.
Allah will not let you pray alone, but He subhanahu wa'ta'ala will surround you with angels the size of mountains that would pray with you. Allah would announce to another group of angels that he has forgiven you for your sins and entered you into paradise.
Salman al-Farsi (radiAllahuanhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam), said,
“If a man is in a deserted land and the time of prayer arrives, let him perform ablution. If he does not find water, let him perform dry ablution. If he performs the prayer, two angels pray with him. If he announces the call to prayer and performs the prayer, behind him will be angels among the armies of Allah whose great numbers cannot be seen.”

Please note.
This is a prayer (Fard) one is necessarily prevented from attending the Masjid due to example travel, extreme weather etc. Additionally all superogatory prayers one is encouraged to pray at home. The Prophet of Allah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) said "do not make your homes a graveyard". What do we learn from this? You're not supposed to pray at graveyards, accordingly the house in which Salah is not made (optional prayer) is a defacto graveyard, this has to be clearly understood. From another angle our scholars say "those who come forward to recite Qurʾān in graveyards should take specific cognizance of this hadeeth". Recitation of the Qur’an is inbuilt in Salah hence no Qurʾān must be recited in graveyards.
This is not to be construed as an alternative to avoid going to the Masjid for the regular fard prayer. Instead the wise one must contemplate the sheer reward for going to the Masjid. If angels pray with you when praying alone what will be the reward when praying in congregation???
