The First Person Who Objected To It Was Prophet Mohammad ﷺ Who Said: “Whoever Innovates Something In This Matter Of Ours That Is Not A Part Of It Will Have It Rejected”
💯11
Our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever among you sees evil, let him change it with his hand. If he cannot do so, then with his tongue. If he cannot do so, then with his heart, which is the weakest level of faith.”

[Sahih Muslim 49a]

Simply protecting yourselves from harm is not enough. True adherence to the deen involves actively opposing wrongdoings, even if it’s just in your heart.

While everyone has the right to their beliefs, it is our duties as Muslims to share the truth and advise others with kindness, to enjoin good and forbid evil.

Sheikh Hudaify stated that the true way to honor and love the Prophet is by obeying his commands, avoiding what he prohibited, and worshiping Allah according to the teachings of the Prophet.

👈🏻 Praying Fajr on time

🔘 If you want to spend your entire day under Allah's protection and care, then pray Fajr on time. Jundub bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever prays Fajr is under Allah's protection." (Narrated by Muslim)

Help Your Brother

Narrated Anas (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) narrated:

Allah's Messenger (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said,

"Help your brother,

whether he is an oppressor

or he is an oppressed one.

People asked, "O Allah's Messenger!

It is all right to help him if he is oppressed,

but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?!”

The Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said,

"By preventing him from oppressing others."

Concerned about What People Think?

Don’t make it your concern [that others] assume the best of you or people mention good of you.
Rather, aim eagerly to be deserving of [others] assuming the best [of you] and worthy of [their] mentioning good of you—without seeking or wanting that [from them].

Your end goal is that your Mawlá [the One who manages your affairs and supports you] be pleased with you; and that you deserve His mercy, His forgiveness, His kindness and generosity.

Relying on the dead for help in times of war is futile; true victory comes from fighting against them.

Ibn Taymiyah said:

Some poets said: Oh, those who fear the Tatars... seek refuge in the grave of Abu Umar, or he said: seek protection in the grave of Abu Umar... it will save you from harm.

So I said to them: These people you're seeking help from, if they were with you in battle, they would flee. (Meaning going to graves and asking help will not be a reason of victory, victory is due to doing Jihad).

Surah Al-Fatihah is a cure for showing off and arrogance, two deadly diseases of the heart

Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah would often say:

“You alone we worship” repels showing off (Riyā).

“You alone we ask for help” repels arrogance.

TIMELESS SEEDS OF ADVICE

Ibn 'Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) narrated: "I was behind the Prophet (ﷺ) one day when he said: 'O boy! I will teach you a statement: Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. When you ask, ask Allah, and when you seek aid, seek Allah's aid. Know that if the entire creation were to gather together to do something to benefit you- you would never get any benefit except that Allah had written for you. And if they were to gather to do something to harm you- you would never be harmed except that Allah had written for you. The pens are lifted and the pages are dried.'"

Arguing with a Scholar or an Ignoramus

Yūnus reports: Maymūn b. Mihrān once wrote to me saying:

Beware of dispute and argumentation about the religion, and do not argue with a scholar nor an ignoramus. As for the scholar, he will withhold his knowledge from you, and will not be concerned with what you do. As for the ignorant person, he will only cause roughness in your heart and he will not obey you [anyway].

Are u Unhappy with the Qadr of Allah

So many of us fall into this, read & examine yourself akhawaat & change ur attitude:

That’s just great! This is why I hate Mondays!”
“What is wrong with this laptop? Another virus!! And of course this would happen NOW, when I have all this important work to finish!!”
“The car seems to break down every time I’m running late!”
“My stupid cellphone keeps shutting down…!”
“Oh great! One more red light! As if I’m not late enough!”
“I stoved my toe on that stupid table!”

These small everyday trials we face and the emotions we react with are all part of our personal test. Our reactions, beliefs, and statements are all being recorded!

With the above mentioned complaints and reactions, who are we actually displeased with? We know that the table didn’t do anything to our toe, right? We know that cars, cellphones, and laptops don’t actually choose to do things to harm us in reality, right?

So then, again – WHO or WHAT are we really displeased with when uttering these kinds of statements?

We desperately need our spouses, friends, and companions to remind us, quite simply, with the following question:

Are you unhappy with the Qadr of Allaah?

Let us replace the bad reactions mentioned with the very best guidance available, the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad

“…And if something (bad) befalls you, do not say, ‘Had I only done such-and-such, then such-and-such would have happened, rather say: Qadrullaahi, wa maa shaa’ fa’ala (This is from the Qadr of Allaah, and He does whatever He wills).” [Saheeh Muslim]

Let us affirm everything we face as the Qadr of Allaah, submit to Allaah being pleased with the trial He (and no one else) has chosen for us, and be afraid of a bad reaction that would be written against us and handed to us on the Day of Account.

And Allaah knows best.

What then, when we post pictures of our bookshelves, take selfies of ourselves making du'a, reciting Qurʿān, making Tawāf, attending lectures...

Duas asking Allah for Risq (Provision, Wealth & Blessings).

The Keys to Risq is offering Prayers with patience and remaining Steadfast on it.

And enjoin prayer upon your family [and people] and be steadfast therein. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you, and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness.

This means to save them from the punishment of Allah by the establishment of the prayer, and you also be patient in performing it.

This is as Allah says,

(O you who believe! Ward off yourselves and your families against a Fire (Hell).) [66:6]

(We ask not of you a provision: We provide for you.) This means that if you establish the prayer, your sustenance will come to you from where you did not expect.

This is as Allah says,
(And whosoever has Taqwa of Allah, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine.) [65:2-3]

Allah also says,
(And I (Allah) created not the Jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone).) until,

(Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong.) (51:56-58)

Thus, Allah says,
(We ask not of you a provision: We provide for you.)

Verily, At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah recorded that Abu Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

(Allah, the Exalted, says, "O son of Adam, perform My worship and I will fill your chest with wealth and fulfill your needs. If you do not do so, then I will fill your chest with toil and I will not fulfill your needs.")

It is also reported from Zayd bin Thabit (May Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying,

(Whoever makes the worldly life his major concern, then Allah will scatter his situation for him (i.e. make it difficult) and his poverty will be placed between his eyes. He will not get from this world anything except that which has already been written for him. Whoever makes the Hereafter his intention, then his situation will be gathered for him (i.e. made easy) and his wealth will be placed in his heart. The worldly life will come to him anyway (in spite of his not seeking it).)

Concerning Allah's statement,

(And the good end is for those who have Taqwa.) This means the good end in this life and in the Hereafter. In the Hereafter, the good end will be Paradise for whoever feared Allah.

Surah Taha 20:132

Ibn Abī Dunya mentioned that Al-Hasan Al-Basrī wrote to 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Azīz, saying,

❝To proceed: Indeed, this world is an abode of affliction, not a place of permanent residence. Adām was sent down to it as a punishment, so beware of it, Commander of the Believers! The best provision is in leaving it, and true richness [lies in] having a lack of it. It always possesses a victim - it humiliates those who honour it and leaves the one who amasses it with nothing. It is like poison being consumed by one who does not recognize it, and it [leads to] his death. So be in it [this world] like a patient treating his wounds seeking shelter for a short while, fearing something he dislikes that could last a long time; and patient upon the difficulties of the remedy, fearing the prolongation of the affliction. Beware of this deceptive and illusory abode that has become enchanting with its tricks and tempting with its deception. This world gives illusions of false hope, and enchants those who wish to marry it so it became like a decorated bride - the eyes are fixated upon her, the hearts captivated by her, and souls infatuated by her; yet, it kills off every willing suitor. Whoever succeeds in obtaining his desires from her becomes arrogant and [has] transgressed, forgetting the Hereafter; his mind becomes preoccupied with her until he slips and his regret intensifies; his sorrows grow and he finds himself faced with the agonies of death, the pain of loss, and the disappointment of infatuated person who failed attain his aim. He lives in resentment, his ambitions crumble, and he fails to achieve what he desired. In addition to this, his soul found no respite, so he departed with no provisions, traversing towards an uncomfortable abode. So let your happiest moments in it be the moments when you are most wary of it; for whenever one of her inhabitants finds calmness in it leading to some joy, it swiftly transforms into distress [replacing] ease with calamity, and ensures that living in it leads to death. The joy in it is tainted with sadness, her promises are false, and her aspirations are in vain. Serenity in it is bitter and life in it difficult. If her Lord had not informed about her, nor given similitudes of her, she would have alerted the sleeping one and warned the unaware. So what about when Allah has sent admonitions regarding her and deterrents? In the sight of Allāh, she has no value or weight, and He has not looked favourably upon her since her creation. She was presented to our Prophet with her luxuries and it would not have diminished him in the sight of Allāh to the extent of a mosquito's wing had he accepted - but he refused to accept. He refused to love what the Creator detests or elevate what the King has debased. So, He made her a test for the righteous and apportioned an abundance to His enemies as an allurement; so the one who becomes deluded by it and able to attain it believes that he has been honoured through her, forgetting what Allāh decreed for His Messenger (ﷺ) when He tightened a stone upon his belly (from hunger).❞
