It was narrated that Jabir radhi Allaahu anhu said the Messenger of Allah sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa-Sallam said the likeness of me and you is that of a man who lit a fire and grasshoppers and moths started falling into it, and he tries to push them away. I am seizing your waistband and trying to pull you away from the fire but you are trying to get away from me.
Narrated by Muslim
In this hadith the Prophet sal Allaahu Alayhi wa sallam wanted to explain, by giving the likeness, his situation with his ummah, and that he was like a man in the wilderness who lit a fire, then the grasshoppers and moths started to fall into it because that is what moths, grasshoppers and small insects usually do. If someone lights a fire in the wilderness, these insects are attracted towards that light, and the man tries to prevent them from falling into it, but they insist on falling into it. This is how the Prophet sal Allaahu Alayhi wa sallam is with his ummah: he is keen to prevent his ummah from following whims and desires and falling into sin and forbidden matters, but they try to free themselves from him and fall into that.
May Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala protect us from being like moths ... A'ameen

*EASE IS NEAR*
ALLAH says: *"ALLĀH will grant after hardship, ease."* {Al-Talāq || Verse 7}
*"So, surely with hardship comes ease."* {Ash-Sharḥ || Verse 5}
Anas ibn Malik (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) was once standing over a hole and he said, *"If hardship were to enter this hole, ease would surely follow it, go inside, and take it out."* {al-Mustadrak ‘alá al-Ṣaḥīḥayn #3552}
Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said, *"Know that there is much good in being patient with what you detest, victory will come with patience, relief will come with affliction, and ‘with the hardship will come an ease.’"* (94:5) {Musnad Aḥmad #2803}
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: *"Our Lord, the Almighty, Laughs at the despair of HIS slaves while HIS Change (of their condition from difficulty to ease) is near!!"* {Silsilatul-Ahadith as-Sahīhah #2810}
Ibn al-Qayyim (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: *"Expecting and hoping for a time of ease. This hope in itself offers a measure of immediate relief."* {Patience and Gratitude || Page 16}
Never underestimate the power of du'a and never think things will always be difficult just because that seems to be the logical expectation after certain things happen in your life. It all comes from ALLĀH. HE has the power to make the difficult easy, and the complicated, uncomplicated. We all knew and believed HE cooled the fire for Ibrahim (peace be upon him), don’t ever think that it is difficult to have your miracle in life, whatever it is for you. Nothing is impossible for ALLĀH. HE will send you ease after whatever hardship you are experiencing. HE will make things possible that didn't seem possible to you. HE can make it happen and HE can make it easy.

When Hazrat Uthman (Ra) Used To Stand By A Grave, He Used To Cry So Much That His Beard Would Get Wet. So Once He Was Asked - You Don't Cry So Much Remembering Heaven And Hell, You Cry When You See The Grave, What Is The Reason For This?
He Said, Rasulullah ﷺ Said, The Grave Is The First Base Of The Hereafter. If One Escapes Here, All Subsequent Bases Will Be Easy For Him.
And If One Does Not Save Here Then All The Subsequent Bases Will Be Very Difficult For Him.
He Also Said, Rasulullah ﷺ Said, "The Most Horrible Thing I Saw In The Rajni Of Meraj Is The Torment Of The Grave."
O Allah, Free Us All From The Severe Punishment Of The Grave

People are forgetting the sanity and honour of makkah and madinah. Treating umrah like it's a trend.
Making tiktoks, v-logs and what not.
Where's your respect?
Where's your morals?
If Allah have blessed you with this opportunity, please do it right.

🔹Narrated Ibn Umar:
Umar got some property in Khaibar and he came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and informed him about it. The Prophet said to him, "If you wish you can give it in charity." So `Umar gave it in charity (i.e. as an endowment) the yield of which was to be used for the good of the poor, the needy, the kinsmen and the guests.

Prayer Attracts Provision

A poem of Al-imām as-Shāfiʿi:
- إِذا المرءُ لا يرعَاكَ إِلا تكلفاً ... فدعْهُ ولا تُكْثِرْ عليه التَّأَسُّفا
If a person dosen't care for you sincerly Just leave him,and do not grieve over him excessively.
For there are replacements among people, and in letting go there is comfort, There is always patience in the heart towards its loved one despite his harshness & coldness.
Not everyone you love will love you in return, and not everyone you purify your heart for will purify theirs for you.

A man once came to Sayyiduna Abud Dardaa (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) and said, “O Abud Dardaa, your house has burned down!” Sayyiduna Abud Dardaa (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) replied, “My house has NOT burned down.” Then another person came and exclaimed, “O Abud Dardaa, your house has burned down.” Sayyiduna Abud Dardaa (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) again replied, “My house has NOT burned down.”
After some time, a third person came and explained, “O Abud Dardaa, I followed the fire. When it reached your house, it went off.” In response, Sayyiduna Abud Dardaa (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) mentioned, “I knew that Allah Ta‘ala, the All-Mighty and Majestic, would not let it happen.”
A man who was present commented saying, “O Abud Dardaa, we do not know which of your statements is more remarkable; your statement, ‘My house has not burned down’, or your statement, ‘I knew that Allah, the All-Mighty and Majestic, would not let it happen!’”
Sayyiduna Abud Dardaa (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) replied, “It is due to certain words (of du‘aa) which I heard from Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). Whoever says them in the morning will not be struck by a calamity until the evening, and whoever says them in the evening will not be struck by a calamity until the morning. (These words are):
‘O Allah! You are my Rabb; there is none worthy of worship except You. I have placed my trust upon You, and You are the Rabb of the Glorious Throne. Whatever Allah Ta‘ala wishes will happen, and whatever He does not wish will not happen. There is no ability (to refrain from sin) and no power (to carry out good deeds) except with (the help of) Allah. I know that Allah is capable of everything, and that Allah Ta‘ala’s knowledge encompasses everything. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my carnal self and from the evil of every creature which You hold by its forelock (i.e. You control). Indeed, my Rabb is on a straight path.’”
(Ad-Du‘aa lit Tabraani #343)
Lessons:
1. The words of Allah Ta‘ala and His Rasool (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) were so deeply embedded within the hearts of the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum), that they had more conviction on them than on what could be sensed and perceived. It was this very conviction that led Sayyiduna Abud Dardaa (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) to completely negate what others had perceived with their very own eyes. If we also endeavour to firmly embed the words of Allah Ta‘ala and His Rasool (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) within our hearts, it will enable us to give preference to the words and commands of Allah Ta‘ala in every facet of our lives as well.
2. When a person has complete trust in Allah Ta‘ala and His promises, he will remain calm even in a crisis. He will understand that every situation is a test from Allah Ta‘ala, and will keep his focus and attention on Allah Ta‘ala’s divine wisdom and power. Thus, we find that Sayyiduna Abud Dardaa (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) was not bothered in the least, despite the possibility of his entire house and its contents being burned.
3. There is great power contained in the du‘aas for protection taught to us by our Master, Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), such as the morning and evening supplications. These supplications serve as a shield against misfortunes, provided they are read with the required level of conviction. Whilst the worldly means are adopted by one and all for the purpose of security, these are not guaranteed to be effective. However, the promises of Allah Ta‘ala and His Rasool (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) are guaranteed to be effective. Hence, one should inculcate the habit of reciting these du‘aas daily.

*📌 The best advice I can give you today. STOP DEPENDING ON AND EXPECTING FROM PEOPLE.*
As you go through seasons of life you will quickly realize much of hurt, resentment, cynicism and detachment is because you place too much trust in people and expect alot from people.
Flip that expectation towards Allah alone!
- Prophet Muhammad
[Sunan Ibn Majah]
✤ Stop asking people for money.
✤ Stop asking people to help you get married.
✤ Stop coveting what others have.
✤ Stop complaining too much to people.
✤ Stop begging people for appreciation, love and comfort.
✤ Stop having hopes that others will treat you like you treat them.
✤ Stop being afraid of losing people.
- Ibn al-Qayyim (ra)
YOU
WILL
BE
DISAPPOINTED
If you place too much hope in people. Rather work on being self sufficient and depending on Allah alone.

When you do this people will love you and the more you ask Allah, depend on Allah – Allah will love you.
- Prophet Muhammad
[Sahih Bukhari]
*CUT THE ROPE WITH PEOPLE & HOLD ONTO THE ROPE OF ALLAH.*
Make dua to Allah to free you from the need of others. Focus on helping people, focus on being a giver, focus on being a healer and inshaAllah as long as you are helping someone else Allah will continue to help you.
{Surah At-Talaaq 65: Verse 3}

SUCH MEN ARE NOT DESERVING OF GOOD WOMEN
The wife's good treatment of her husband and her obedience to him should only cause the man to be kinder, more caring, generous, and giving towards his wife. The 3 afflictions which daily affect every human being:
Everyday and every night, the children of Aadam are affected by the 3 afflictions. Not a day goes by except that they are afflicted by all the 3 of them.
🌴🌴🌴
THE FIRST AFFLICTION:
His lifespan is reduced everyday. He does not care much about his lifespan being reduced, but if there is any reduction in his wealth, he starts worrying. What he forgets is that wealth is recoverable but not the lifespan.
🌴🌴🌴
THE SECOND AFFLICTION:
Everyday he consumes the sustenance provided to him by Allaah. If it is Halaal, he will be questioned about it [Surah al-Takaathur (102): 8]. But if it is through Haraam means, then he will be punished for it; and no one knows the extent of the punishment except Allaah.
🌴🌴🌴
THE THIRD AFFLICTION:
Everyday he is nearing the Aakhirah by some distance; while at the same time he is being distanced from this worldly life by some distance. But his concern for the EVERLASTING HEREAFTER is nothing as compared to his concern for this FLEETING WORLD. He does not know if his abode will be the highest station in Paradise or the lowest depths of Hell.
💢💢💢
O Allaah! Do not make this world our greatest concern, nor the limit of our knowledge. And do not set our path leading towards Hell. And make Paradise our final abode.
Everyday and every night, the children of Aadam are affected by the 3 afflictions. Not a day goes by except that they are afflicted by all the 3 of them.

O Allaah! Do not make this world our greatest concern, nor the limit of our knowledge. And do not set our path leading towards Hell. And make Paradise our final abode.
