Sahl bin Sa'd (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Prophet (ṣall Allahu ʿalayhi wa-’ālihi wa-sallam) said to 'Ali (May Allah be pleased with him),

"By Allah, if a single person is guided by Allah through you, it will be better for you than a whole lot of red camels."

At times our hearts ache for something we deeply long for, something just beyond our reach. We plan, we strive, we pray, but sometimes the answer from our Rabb is different from what we had hoped for. In those moments, it is easy to feel lost, to question why things didn't go our way. But if we truly reflect, we will realize that every choice Allaah makes for us is wrapped in His infinte wisdom, mercy, and love for us.

The pain of unfulfilled wishes, the weight of unanswered prayers, or the silence when we seek immediate relief. These are heavy burdens but Allaah sees what we cannot, He knows the hidden harm in what we long for and the unseen blessings in what we resist.

Allaah says in Surah al Baqarah,
But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you, and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allaah knows, while you know not.
(2:216)

Perhaps that opportunity we desperately wanted would have taken us further from Him. Perhaps that hardship we tried to escape was meant to bring us closer to our true purpose. Every “no” from Allaah is in reality, a redirection to something far better either in this life or in the Hereafter.

So, even when we don't understand, we trust. Even when we don’t see the wisdom, we surrender. Even when our hearts break, we remind ourselves:

"Allaah is Al-Wadud, the Most Loving. Al-Hakeem, the Most Wise. Al-Raheem, the Most Merciful."

Ya Allaah, when our hearts waver, strengthen them with trust in You. When we don't understand, grant us patience and replace our worries with contentment, our pain with perseverance, and our losses with something far better. Make us among those who submit fully to Your wisdom and find true peace in Your decree.

It is reported that ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd – Allāh be pleased with him – said:

“Do not be hasty in praising people or blaming them, for perhaps what pleases you from a person today will displease you tomorrow, and perhaps what displeases you today, will please you tomorrow.

Indeed, people change.

It is Allāh who forgives the sins.

And Allāh is more merciful to his servant the day he meets him than a mother who lays out a bed for her child in an empty patch of land and feels [the ground]: if there is a risk of being stung, it will be her instead of him (her child), and if there is a risk of being pricked by a thorn, it will be her instead of him.”

Take care of the believers:

“The best thing to do when someone needs help physically or financially is to busy yourself with helping that person, relieving his distress, and to place this as a priority over your private worship that you would usually be engaged in.”

In one of his writings, ibn Rajab mentioned:

It is inevitable that a believer will experience some painful, difficult trials in order to test his faith. This is like what Allah said:

Alif Lam Meem * Do people think that they will be left to say, "We believe," without being tested? * We have certainly tested those before them. So Allah will surely know those who were truthful and He will know those who were liars. [al-'Ankabut ayaat 1-3]

But Allah is kind to His believing servants in these tests, granting them steadfast patience and rewards them for them. He does not cast them into the a misguiding destructive test which would demolish their faith. Rather, the tests pass over them while they are still in a good spiritual condition.

The Foundations of Sickness are Three: Ar-Riyaa’ (Ostentation) Arrogance, and Misguidance

Ibnul-Qayyim (RahimahuLLaahu ta'alaa) said :

"Often I would hear Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyah, may Allaah purify his soul, saying: ‘Iyyaak Na’budu (You Alone we worship) repels Ar-Riyaa, and Iyyaaka Nasta’een (You Alone we ask for help) repels arrogance.

"So if one is cured from the sickness of Ar-Riyaa’ by way of: Iyyaak Na’budu (You Alone we worship) and he is cured of the sickness of arrogance and self amazement by way of: Iyyaaka Nasta’een (You Alone we ask for help), and from the sickness of misguidance and ignorance by way of: Ihdinaa Siraatal-Mustaqeem (Guide us to the straight way)then he is cured from his sicknesses and ailments and he walks in the garments of good health, and the favor is completed upon him.

"He is from those upon whom favor has been bestowed; not those upon whom there is Anger. And they are the people of corruption in intent—those who recognize the truth and turn away from it.

(Nor is he from) "those who go astray—and they are the people of corruption in knowledge; those who are ignorant of the truth and do not recognize it.’"

Life doesn’t last forever. Think about it, reflect, and repeat: "Life is short." Make this your motto because life will end. We are here to be tested; everything will pass, nothing stays forever. As months and years go by, your life is getting shorter. With each day and hour, you are getting closer to the end, except for the good deeds you do. Everything disappears, but good deeds remain.

In Islam, we don't believe in "Karma". Instead, we have the concept of " Kifarah", which means whatever you give - whether good or bad - will come back to you in same form. Surely Allah is fair and just.

PAY ATTENTION TO THIS: PONDERING AND ACTING UPON IT

Reciting The Qur’aan Is The Best Dhikr

Shaytan’s Three Angles of Attack
Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyah, Al-Fawa`id 1:277

Every intelligent person knows that Shaytan has no way to [attack] him except from three angles:

Extravagance: [A person] takes more than he needs, so it becomes superfluous; and [surplus] is the share of Shaytan and his point of entry to the heart. The way to avoid this is to avoid giving the self all it wants of food, sleep, pleasure and comfort. When you close this door, you will be safe from the enemy entering through it.

Heedlessness: One who remembers [Allah] is in an impenetrable fortress. If he becomes forgetful and heedless, he opens the gates of the fortress, and the enemy enters, after which it is difficult to expel him.

Affectation: of what does not concern oneself, or what one is not qualified to involve oneself in.

BE AWARE

❝Don’t talk too much about yourself to all your friends. Don’t tell your secret to anyone, even your friend. Don’t tell your mistake or sin to others. Don’t trust others too much because that too much, can hurt you so much.

Because there will be a time when that person will use your secret against you or reveal your secret to the others.

When you fight or argue with each other, he will reveal all your secrets to the others to make you look bad in the eyes of people.

Not everyone around you is a true friend, some of them are two-faced (hypocrite). It’s better to keep your secrets to yourself and Allahﷻ Indeed Allah is a secret keeper.❞

Trials & Difficulties

Shaykh Muqbil Bin Hadi Al-Wada’aee [رحمه الله] said:

❝If you are afflicted with a difficulty and hardship then perhaps that difficulty is good for you.

Whether that difficulty is in your wealth or on your body or in anything which pains and worries you.

Perhaps that will be a means to raise your rank in the worldly life and the Hereafter. Perhaps it will be a purification from Allaah Azza Wa Jal.❞

Feeling stuck in life can be overwhelming... like you’re going through the motions but not really getting anywhere that actually matters.

I know how it is because I was once there.

But the no.1 reason why most people feel stuck is that they don’t have a clear vision and clarity in their life.

Clarity comes from knowing where you’re headed, and that starts with having a personal vision.

A vision is more than a goal—it’s your compass for life.

When you know what you’re striving for, you stop wasting time on things that don’t matter and start focusing your energy where it counts.

Allah reminds us in the Qur’an: ‘Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.’ (13:11).

Your change begins with a decision to live intentionally with a clear path and direction.

Set a personal vision and take purpose-driven actions.
