Today I shall call upon اللّٰه with the dua of IBRAHIM عليه السلام when he was thrown in fire hoping Allah will silence the fire of depression, worry, hopelessness and anxiety within me.
Today I shall call upon اللّٰه with the dua of NUH عليه السلام when he was oppressed hoping Allah will silence my critics and those who oppress me or have any ill will towards me.
Today I shall call upon اللّٰه with by the dua of YUNUS عليه السلام when he was in the belly of a whale, accepting my mistakes and shortcomings and in the process realizing the might of Allah.
Today I shall call upon اللّٰه with the dua of MUSA عليه السلام under the tree and hope that Allah will bless me whatever good that is needed in my life.
The best hopes are the ones put in Allah subhanahu wata'ala - everybody else is going to let you down and leave you alone at some point.
🍂 Dua of Ibrahim
❝Hasbi Allah wa ni’am al-wakeel❞
Allah is sufficient for me and He is the best Disposer of affairs
{Surah Al Imran 3: Verse 173}
📚 Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said:
When (Prophet) Ibrahim (Abraham) was thrown into the fire, he said: "Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and, He is the Best Disposer of affairs." So did Messenger of Allah Muhammad (ﷺ) when he was told: "A great army of the pagans had gathered against him, so fear them". But this (warning) only increased him and the Muslims in Faith and they said: "Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us)".
[Al-Bukhari]
🍂 Dua of Nuh
❝Rabbahu annee maghloobun fantasir ❞
I have been overcome, so help (me)!
{Surah Al Qamar 54 : Verse 10}
🍂 Dua of Yunus
❝La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inneekuntu mina aththalimeen❞
There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.
{Surah Al Anbya 21: Verse 87}
📚The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The supplication of my brother Dhun Nun (Yunus, peace be upon him), who called on Allah while in the whale’s belly: ‘There is no deity but You. Glory be to You! Verily, I have been among the wrongdoers’ (Quran 21:87) – no Muslim person says it, for any situation whatsoever, except that Allah Most High answers his call.”
[Tirmidhi]
The ayah following the dua of Yunus عليه السلام.
Allah subhanahu wata’ala mentions in the very next ayah...
Fastajabna lahu wanajjaynahumina alghammi wakathalika nunjee almu/mineen
So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.
<3 subhanAllah!!!
🍂 Dua of Musa
❝Rabbi innee lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeer❞
My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me!
{Surah Al Qasas 28: Verse 24}
As a consequence of this dua...
✤ Musa got married.
✤ Musa had children.
✤ Musa got a job and was given job security of nearly 10 years.
I make these adhiya daily. I hope you will try your best to make all these duas consistently with other duas that you want - inshaAllah.

‘Rizq Will Come to Me’
Imam Ibn Hajr al Asqalani writes:
Imam Ahmad was asked regarding a person who remains at his home or the masjid, and say that I will not do anything my rizq will come to me.
Ahmad replied:
This person is ignorant, The Prophet peace be upon him said:
"Allah made my rizq under the shadow of my spear" and Said: If you have tawakkul on Allah, Allah will give you the rizq as He provide rizq to the birds, who are hungry when they go out from their home, when they come back in the evening they are full."
Meaning when they go out they are hungry (They do not say we will stay at home as we have tawakul on Allah, they work hard).
Ahmad said: The companions did business and other things, we should follow their footsteps. (end quote)

• Overthinking about the future causes anxiety (Hamm)
• Overthinking about the past causes sorrow (Hazn)
• Overthinking about what other people have causes grief (Ghamm)
• So, live in the present but work for the Aakhirah.
Ali Ibn Abi Talib رضي الله عنه said:
"The world is moving away from us, and the Hereafter is coming closer towards us and each one of them has sons. So, be from the sons of the Hereafter, and do not be from the sons of the world.
For today (is the time) for action and no Judgment; but tomorrow is (only) Judgment and no action."
[Sahih Al-Bukhari—Chapter: Hoping too much (for longer life)]
Both the Dunya and the Aakhirah seek and are sought after. The one who seeks the Aakhirah, the Dunya chases him till his sustenance has been given to him in complete. And as for the seeker of the Dunya, then the Aakhirah chases him till death overtakes him.
Verily! The happy is the one who chooses the everlasting bliss over the ever perishing world.

In any case, empathy is essential for such individuals, which is why Shariah has introduced the concept of condolence (ta'zeeyat)."

A Muslim should strive hard during Ramadān to perform various acts of worship. Therefore, he should recite Qur’ān and listen to it frequently, say a lot of Tahlīl (La ilāha ill-Allāh (There is no god but Allah)), Tahmīd (al-hamdu Lillāh (praise be to Allah)), Tasbīh (Subhān-Allāh (Glory be to Allah)) and listen to exhortations…; because the reward of the good deeds is multiplied therein, and the loser is the one who neglects it.
Imām az-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy upon him) said, “One tasbīh in Ramadān is better than saying a thousand tasbīhs at other times.”

A Reminder✍
-Seeking Forgiveness to Lift Calamities and Repel Hardships is necessary like Yunus (ʿalayhi s-salām) sought forgiveness by saying:
لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ.
- If Allāh is testing you with hardships it doesn't always mean that you're a sinful person. Sometimes, Allāh tests His beloved servants to raise their ranks.
Like He tested Ayyub, Yusuf, Ibrahim, Mariyam, Aisha.
We are not pious like them but we should take lessons from their stories to uplift ourselves.
- Hide your misfortunes by remembering the blessings of Allāh.
-Don't allow people to know everything about you, be a dignified Mawahid(monotheist).
May Allāh bless you & be pleased with you. 🌹🍃 Aameen

Advice on how to attain Al-Hayā’: Be humble, don’t put yourself forward, don’t seek position, fame or notoriety―dress and behave modestly (males and females), don’t look down upon others, help the weak, aid the oppressed, don’t show-off, avoid the desire to be the centre of conversations and attention―don’t desire to have the most followers on social media, and don’t put out images of yourself for the world to see―don’t seek to embarrass and shame others, and especially the people of Sunnah, rather, learn to love them and aid them―and if you are unknown, praise Allah, and thank Him! The Messenger (ﷺ) said: “There is not a person who humbles himself for Allah except that Allah raises him.” (Muslim, no. 2588)

When Umar (R) didn't see a man in Fajr prayer
Umar ibn al-Khattab missed Sulayman ibn Abi Hathma in the subh prayer. In the morning he went to the market, and Sulayman's house was between the market and the Prophet's mosque. He passed ash-Shifa, Sulayman's mother, and said to her,
"I did not see Sulayman at subh." She replied,
"He spent the night in prayer and his eyes overcame him.
Umar said, "I would rather be present at subh than stand the whole night in prayer. [Muwatta Malik, 296]

SURAH YOUSAF is a reminder that:
1. Patience leads to victory – Prophet Yusuf (AS) endured betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment, yet his patience led him to greatness.
2. Trust Allah’s plan – What seems like a setback is often a setup for something better.
3. Forgiveness is powerful – Despite the harm his brothers caused, Yusuf (AS) forgave them, teaching us to let go of grudges.
4. Dreams have meaning – Yusuf’s (AS) story shows how Allah can communicate wisdom through dreams.
5. Hardships are temporary – No matter how dark things seem, relief always follows—just as Yusuf (AS) went from a prison to a palace.

Three phrases that help one cope in times of calamities/difficulties, especially when the Prophet ﷺ said: ❝The real patience is at the first stroke of a calamity.❞ [Saheehain]
🌟1) Remembering that what had befallen you was never going to miss you and what had missed you was never going to befall you:
🌴A) The Prophet ﷺ said: ❝…When you are afflicted in any way, do not say:
🌴B) The Prophet ﷺ said: ❝…And know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and hardship with ease.❞ [Mustadrak of al-Haakim (6304)]
💢💢💢
🌟2) Remembering that to Allaah belongs everything:
🌴A) { وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ * الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّـهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ}
{…but give good tidings to the patient ones, who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.} [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 155-156]
🌴B) When the Prophet ﷺ came to know that the son of his daughter was dying, he ﷺ sent a messenger towards her telling him to convey his greetings (the Salaam) to her and to say:
إن لله ما أخذ وله ما أعطى وكل شيء عنده بأجل مسمى فلتصبر ولتحتسب
❝Whatever Allaah takes is for Him and whatever He gives, is for Him, and everything with Him has a limited fixed term (in this world) and so be patient and hope for Allaah’s reward.❞ [Saheehain]

🌟3 ) Making a lot of Du
🌟1) Remembering that what had befallen you was never going to miss you and what had missed you was never going to befall you:
🌴A) The Prophet ﷺ said: ❝…When you are afflicted in any way, do not say:
If I had taken this or that step, it would have resulted into such and such.’ But only say: (قَدَّرَ اللَّهُ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ) Allaah has decreed and whatever He Wills, He does.’ Verily, the word ‘if’ opens the gates of satanic thoughts.❞ [Saheeh Muslim]🌴B) The Prophet ﷺ said: ❝…And know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and hardship with ease.❞ [Mustadrak of al-Haakim (6304)]

🌟3 ) Making a lot of Du
aa when having anxiety or feeling sorrow:
🌴A) Allaah's Messenger ﷺ said: ❝If any Muslim who suffers some calamity says that which Allaah has commanded him:
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي، وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا
“We belong to Allaah and to Him shall we return}, O Allaah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better in exchange for it”, Allaah will give him something better than it in exchange.❞ [Saheeh Muslim]
🌴B) And there are many more Duaa that one can recite during the times of calamities...💯3👍1
“If a Muslim does not complete reciting the Qur’an in Ramadan, the month of the Qur’an, he will not complete it the rest of the year unless Allah wills. Not completing it is a let-down that requires consistent duʿa to relieve one of this calamity and remove heedlessness from one’s heart.”

🎏 *Three Ameens – Hadith*
🍁Kaab Ibn Ujrah (radhi Allaahu anhu) relates that Rasulullah (ﷺ) said Come near to the mimbar and we came near the mimbar. When He (ﷺ) climbed the first step of the mimbar, He (ﷺ) said “Aameen”, When He (ﷺ) ascended the second step, He (ﷺ) said “Aameen”, When He (ﷺ) climbed the third step, He (ﷺ) said “Aameen” When He (ﷺ) came down, We said “O Rasool of Allah (ﷺ), we have heard from you today something which we never heard before” He (ﷺ) said When I climbed the first step, the angel Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) appeared before me and said
💬“Destruction to him who found the blessed month of Ramdhan and let it pass by without gaining forgiveness”
upon that
🗯I said ‘Aameen’. When I climbed the second step, he said,
💬“Destruction to him before whom thy name is taken and then he does not make Dua for Allah’s blessing on me (by saying, for example , Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam).”
🗯I replied ‘Aameen’. When I climbed the third step, he said
💬“Destruction unto him in whose lifetime his parents or either one of them reaches old age, and (through failure to serve them) he is not allowed to enter Jannah”.
🗯I said ‘Aameen’. (Hakim, Baihaqi)
📚Note In this Hadith, it appears that Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) gave expression to three curses, upon which Rasulullah (ﷺ) said Aameen every time. In al-Durr al-Mansoor it is reported that Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) advised Rasulullah (ﷺ) to say Aameen. Being an angel of such high mark, Jibraeel ‘s giving these curses is sure to be accepted. May Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala) in His infinite mercy grant us His help and save us from these three dangers.
