In any case, empathy is essential for such individuals, which is why Shariah has introduced the concept of condolence (ta'zeeyat)."

A Muslim should strive hard during Ramadān to perform various acts of worship. Therefore, he should recite Qur’ān and listen to it frequently, say a lot of Tahlīl (La ilāha ill-Allāh (There is no god but Allah)), Tahmīd (al-hamdu Lillāh (praise be to Allah)), Tasbīh (Subhān-Allāh (Glory be to Allah)) and listen to exhortations…; because the reward of the good deeds is multiplied therein, and the loser is the one who neglects it.
Imām az-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy upon him) said, “One tasbīh in Ramadān is better than saying a thousand tasbīhs at other times.”

A Reminder✍
-Seeking Forgiveness to Lift Calamities and Repel Hardships is necessary like Yunus (ʿalayhi s-salām) sought forgiveness by saying:
لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ.
- If Allāh is testing you with hardships it doesn't always mean that you're a sinful person. Sometimes, Allāh tests His beloved servants to raise their ranks.
Like He tested Ayyub, Yusuf, Ibrahim, Mariyam, Aisha.
We are not pious like them but we should take lessons from their stories to uplift ourselves.
- Hide your misfortunes by remembering the blessings of Allāh.
-Don't allow people to know everything about you, be a dignified Mawahid(monotheist).
May Allāh bless you & be pleased with you. 🌹🍃 Aameen

Advice on how to attain Al-Hayā’: Be humble, don’t put yourself forward, don’t seek position, fame or notoriety―dress and behave modestly (males and females), don’t look down upon others, help the weak, aid the oppressed, don’t show-off, avoid the desire to be the centre of conversations and attention―don’t desire to have the most followers on social media, and don’t put out images of yourself for the world to see―don’t seek to embarrass and shame others, and especially the people of Sunnah, rather, learn to love them and aid them―and if you are unknown, praise Allah, and thank Him! The Messenger (ﷺ) said: “There is not a person who humbles himself for Allah except that Allah raises him.” (Muslim, no. 2588)

When Umar (R) didn't see a man in Fajr prayer
Umar ibn al-Khattab missed Sulayman ibn Abi Hathma in the subh prayer. In the morning he went to the market, and Sulayman's house was between the market and the Prophet's mosque. He passed ash-Shifa, Sulayman's mother, and said to her,
"I did not see Sulayman at subh." She replied,
"He spent the night in prayer and his eyes overcame him.
Umar said, "I would rather be present at subh than stand the whole night in prayer. [Muwatta Malik, 296]

SURAH YOUSAF is a reminder that:
1. Patience leads to victory – Prophet Yusuf (AS) endured betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment, yet his patience led him to greatness.
2. Trust Allah’s plan – What seems like a setback is often a setup for something better.
3. Forgiveness is powerful – Despite the harm his brothers caused, Yusuf (AS) forgave them, teaching us to let go of grudges.
4. Dreams have meaning – Yusuf’s (AS) story shows how Allah can communicate wisdom through dreams.
5. Hardships are temporary – No matter how dark things seem, relief always follows—just as Yusuf (AS) went from a prison to a palace.

Three phrases that help one cope in times of calamities/difficulties, especially when the Prophet ﷺ said: ❝The real patience is at the first stroke of a calamity.❞ [Saheehain]
🌟1) Remembering that what had befallen you was never going to miss you and what had missed you was never going to befall you:
🌴A) The Prophet ﷺ said: ❝…When you are afflicted in any way, do not say:
🌴B) The Prophet ﷺ said: ❝…And know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and hardship with ease.❞ [Mustadrak of al-Haakim (6304)]
💢💢💢
🌟2) Remembering that to Allaah belongs everything:
🌴A) { وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ * الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّـهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ}
{…but give good tidings to the patient ones, who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.} [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 155-156]
🌴B) When the Prophet ﷺ came to know that the son of his daughter was dying, he ﷺ sent a messenger towards her telling him to convey his greetings (the Salaam) to her and to say:
إن لله ما أخذ وله ما أعطى وكل شيء عنده بأجل مسمى فلتصبر ولتحتسب
❝Whatever Allaah takes is for Him and whatever He gives, is for Him, and everything with Him has a limited fixed term (in this world) and so be patient and hope for Allaah’s reward.❞ [Saheehain]

If I had taken this or that step, it would have resulted into such and such.’ But only say: (قَدَّرَ اللَّهُ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ) Allaah has decreed and whatever He Wills, He does.’ Verily, the word ‘if’ opens the gates of satanic thoughts.❞ [Saheeh Muslim]🌴B) The Prophet ﷺ said: ❝…And know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. aa when having anxiety or feeling sorrow:
🌴A) Allaah's Messenger ﷺ said: ❝If any Muslim who suffers some calamity says that which Allaah has commanded him:
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي، وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا
“We belong to Allaah and to Him shall we return}, O Allaah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better in exchange for it”, Allaah will give him something better than it in exchange.❞ [Saheeh Muslim]
🌴B) And there are many more Duaa that one can recite during the times of calamities...💯3👍1
“If a Muslim does not complete reciting the Qur’an in Ramadan, the month of the Qur’an, he will not complete it the rest of the year unless Allah wills. Not completing it is a let-down that requires consistent duʿa to relieve one of this calamity and remove heedlessness from one’s heart.”

🍁Kaab Ibn Ujrah (radhi Allaahu anhu) relates that Rasulullah (ﷺ) said Come near to the mimbar and we came near the mimbar. When He (ﷺ) climbed the first step of the mimbar, He (ﷺ) said “Aameen”, When He (ﷺ) ascended the second step, He (ﷺ) said “Aameen”, When He (ﷺ) climbed the third step, He (ﷺ) said “Aameen” When He (ﷺ) came down, We said “O Rasool of Allah (ﷺ), we have heard from you today something which we never heard before” He (ﷺ) said When I climbed the first step, the angel Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) appeared before me and said
💬“Destruction to him who found the blessed month of Ramdhan and let it pass by without gaining forgiveness”
upon that
🗯I said ‘Aameen’. When I climbed the second step, he said,
💬“Destruction to him before whom thy name is taken and then he does not make Dua for Allah’s blessing on me (by saying, for example , Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam).”
🗯I replied ‘Aameen’. When I climbed the third step, he said
💬“Destruction unto him in whose lifetime his parents or either one of them reaches old age, and (through failure to serve them) he is not allowed to enter Jannah”.
🗯I said ‘Aameen’. (Hakim, Baihaqi)
📚Note In this Hadith, it appears that Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) gave expression to three curses, upon which Rasulullah (ﷺ) said Aameen every time. In al-Durr al-Mansoor it is reported that Jibraeel (alaihi as-salam) advised Rasulullah (ﷺ) to say Aameen. Being an angel of such high mark, Jibraeel ‘s giving these curses is sure to be accepted. May Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala) in His infinite mercy grant us His help and save us from these three dangers.

The statement "Sadaqallahu Al-'Adheem" (صَدَقَ اللَّهُ العَظِيم) after reciting the Qur'an is commonly said by many people today. However, when analyzing its status in light of the Qur'an, Sunnah, and the practice of the Salaf (righteous predecessors), we can determine whether it is an innovation (bid‘ah) or a recommended practice.
1. No Evidence from the Qur'an or Sunnah
There is no authentic narration from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ or his Companions that they would say "Sadaqallahu Al-'Adheem" after finishing the recitation of the Qur'an.
The Prophet ﷺ was the best in worship and guidance, and if this phrase were prescribed to be said after Qur'an recitation, he ﷺ and his Companions would have done so.
2. The Salaf Did Not Say It
The early generations of Muslims, including the Sahabah (Companions), Tabi‘een (Successors), and the early scholars of Islam, did not habitually say "Sadaqallahu Al-'Adheem" after completing Qur'an recitation.
If this practice were meritorious, the Salaf—who were the most eager to follow the Sunnah—would have established it.
3. The Concept of Bid‘ah (Innovation)
The Prophet ﷺ warned against introducing new practices into the religion, saying:
"Whoever introduces into this matter of ours (Islam) that which is not part of it, it will be rejected." (Bukhari & Muslim)
Imam Ash-Shatibi (رحمه الله) in Al-I‘tisam defined bid‘ah as:
"A newly invented way in the religion that resembles the Shari‘ah but is not from it."
Since saying "Sadaqallahu Al-'Adheem" after Qur'an recitation was not legislated by the Prophet ﷺ, nor practiced by the Salaf, it falls into the category of bid‘ah idafiyyah (an innovation added to an act of worship).
4. Refutation of Common Arguments
Some say the Qur'an itself states "Sadaqallahu" (Allah has spoken the truth).
While it is true that Allah says in the Qur'an:
{Say: Allah has spoken the truth...} (Surah Aal ‘Imran 3:95),
this verse does not establish that saying "Sadaqallahu Al-'Adheem" after Qur'an recitation is a Sunnah. It is a general statement, not a specific instruction for concluding recitation.
Some scholars allowed it as a general dhikr.
If someone says it occasionally without believing it is an obligatory Sunnah or part of Islamic practice, then it may not be a strict bid‘ah. However, if it becomes a regular habit or people believe it is required, then it is an innovation.
Conclusion
The correct Sunnah is to end recitation as the Prophet ﷺ did—without adding "Sadaqallahu Al-'Adheem."
Since no one from the Salaf did this, it is an innovation when done as a regular practice after reading the Qur'an.
The safest approach is to follow the example of the Prophet ﷺ and avoid introducing new practices in acts of worship.
Thus, saying "Sadaqallahu Al-'Adheem" after reciting the Qur'an is an innovation (bid‘ah) because it has no basis in the practice of the Prophet ﷺ, the Sahabah, or the Salaf.

Women's I'tikaf: At Home or in the Masjid?
A woman can also benefit from the blessings of I'tikaf just like a man, provided her husband grants permission. A woman’s I'tikaf is also valid only in the mosque, as the Quranic command (وَأَنْتُمْ عَاكِفُونَ فِي الْمَساجِدِ) is general, and there is no separate ruling in Shari'ah that requires women to observe I'tikaf at home.Rather, after the Prophet’s (ﷺ) passing, his noble wives used to observe I'tikaf in Masjid Nabawi. There is no authentic hadith proving that I'tikaf can be observed at home. And Allah knows best.
Conditions for a Woman’s I'tikaf:
• To be purified from the state requiring Ghusl.
• The I'tikaf must be in a mosque.
• She must be in a state of purity from menstruation and postnatal bleeding
• She must have permission from her guardian or caretaker.
• She must make the intention for I'tikaf.

A beautiful lesson from Surah Yusuf
is that even if the closest people in your life go against you, as long as you trust Allah and have patience, He will raise your status and open the doors for you in the darkest moments.

❝When the people of Jannah will reunite, they will remember all the times they spoke about Jannah in this world. They’ll look back and laugh, at how short life was, and then smile, because beautiful is their final abode.
The people of paradise will have all that they desire. One step into Jannah and they will remember no pain. They will say they never suffered, they will say they never cried.
A dip in Jannah.
Oh how much we long for that moment. The moment where we reunite, we hug our loved ones once again. We forget about all the pain, and thank Allāh for all the tests!
How strange does it seem, that these tests which weigh a ton on our chest today will one day elevate us. Elevate us so high, that we will thank Allāh. We will thank Him for testing us, for loving us and for giving us more than anyone could imagine.
A place of eternity, vast, beautiful, peaceful.
Everything one can desire.
Be patient, oh beautiful slaves of Allāh, for our Lord is more Merciful than a mother is to her child.❞ [Imām Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) in “Al-Fawa’īd” (pg. 119).]
