JUST ASK FOR FORGIVENESS.

A man complained to Hasan al-Basri (rahimahullah d. 110 AH) about a drought.

So he said to him: Pray to Allaah for forgiveness.

Another man complained to him of poverty.

So he said to him: Pray to Allaah to forgive you.

Another man said to him: Pray to Allaah to bless me with a child.

He said: Pray to Allaah for forgiveness.

Another complained to him that his garden was dry.

He said to him: Pray to Allaah for forgiveness.

We asked him about that and he said: This is not my personal opinion.

For Allaah says:

فَقُلْتُ ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارًا [٧١:١٠]

"I [Prophet Nooh (alaihumus salam) said (to them): 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving. (Al Qurʾān 71:10)

He’ll send rain to you in abundance.

And give you increase in wealth and children,
and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.

[Surah Nuh (v. 10-12).Source: Tafsir al-Qurtubi (v. 18, pp. 301-302)].

Anas bin Malik narrated that:
"An older man came to talk to the Prophet, and the people were hesitant to make room for him. The Prophet said: ;He is not one of us who does not have mercy on our young and does not respect our elders."

❣️ Ponder 💭💭💭

Beauty is not a guarantee to marriage...

Falling sick does not mean you are about to die.

Getting rich is not the definition of prosperity.

Building a nice house is not enjoying luxury.

Sleeping on an expensive bed does not bring you sound sleep.

Driving an expensive car is not a guarantee that you're going to arrive at your destination.

Wearing the best clothes does not mean you’re better than anyone.

Having a family doctor does not guarantee permanent health..

Being highly educated is not a sign of wisdom.

Marrying from a rich home does not guarantee a happy marriage.

My sisters and brothers in Islam. What we should All know is:

There is nothing as temporary as the life of this world and nothing so certain and permanent as death. Be kind always. Work towards Allah’s pleasure and you shall find ease in the grave if Allah wills.

May Almighty Allah Ta’ala grants us all true understanding.

May Almighty Allah Ta’ala unite us All in Jannah ❣️Aameen

Ar-Rahim (ٱلرَّحِيمُ) – The Especially Merciful

After Ar-Rahman, we meet Ar-Rahim, a name that speaks of Allah’s deep and special mercy for His believing servants. While Ar-Rahman’s mercy is vast and touches all creation, Ar-Rahim’s mercy is personal, continuous, and reserved especially for those who turn to Him in love and obedience.

It is the mercy that follows you in your struggles, forgives you in your shortcomings, and rewards you for even the smallest good. When you walk towards Him, He runs to you. That’s Ar-Rahim.

When you feel broken, remember: Ar-Rahim never abandons a heart that sincerely calls upon Him.

Whisper it today: Ya Ar-Rahim, surround me with Your mercy.

Be patient, and in time, He’ll open the doors you’ve been waiting for, whether it’s marriage, a new job, children, or anything else you desire.Remember, Allah’s plan is always better than we can imagine.

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported:

"A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) with his son. The Prophet took the boy and kissed him. Al-Aqra‘ ibn Hābis said, 'I have ten children, and I have never kissed any of them.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'What can I do for you if Allah has removed mercy from your heart?'"

— [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim]

This hadith shows how deeply the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) valued showing love and affection to children, and how he corrected those who saw such affection as unnecessary. It’s a powerful reminder of the emotional bond and mercy that should exist between a father and his child.

Don't despair of Allaah's mercy

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty said: O son of Adam, if you call upon me and place your hope in me, I will forgive you without hesitation. O son of Adam, if you have sins piling up to the clouds and then ask for my forgiveness, I will forgive you without hesitation. O son of Adam, if you come to me with enough sins to fill the earth and then you meet me without associating anything with me (in worship), I will come to you with enough forgiveness to fill the earth.”

Some people work so hard and get nothing. Others work just as hard and get everything. Then there are those who don’t work at all and have it all, while some don’t work and remain with nothing.

Nothing is from us. The job, the money, the friends, the spouse, the house, the car, it’s all from Allah. And not because of our hard work. Recognise His blessings, be grateful, and help others while you can.

Because Allah gives to whoever He wills, and takes from whoever He wills.

And in the end, we’ll leave this life with nothing—naked, empty-handed, and poor, just as we came into it.

Shaykh Muḥammad Taqī al-Dīn al-Ḥilālī:

“These affairs happen in accordance with what Allah has ordain written for everyone. Like shopkeepers, one shop is frequented by many customers who generate sales, whereas the shop next door, despite stocking the same or even better goods, is inactive and receives no customers”

(al-Daʿwa Ilá Allah fī Aqṭār Mukhtalifa, Qahira: Maktabat Dār al-Kitāb wa as-Sunnah P.307)

Such is the dunya.

☝️☝️Praise be to Allah Rabbul Izzat ☝️☝️

☝️ And Peace and blessings be on his Prophet’s☝️

Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله)

Here's some various topics like the heart, patience, dunya, and spiritual growth:

1. On the Heart & Its Purification:

"The heart becomes sick as the body becomes sick, and its cure is repentance and protection [from sins]. It becomes rusty as a mirror becomes rusty, and its polish is remembrance of Allah (dhikr). It becomes naked as the body becomes naked, and its clothing is taqwa (piety)."

(From: Al-Fawā’id)

2. On Patience & Trials:

"Patience is of three types: Patience in obedience to Allah, patience in avoiding disobedience to Allah, and patience with Allah’s decree. The most virtuous of them is patience in obedience."

(From: Madārij al-Sālikīn)

3. On Love of Allah:

"The more the heart loves Allah, the more it is purified, and the more it is purified, the more it loves Him—entering a cycle of increasing love and purity."

(From: Rawḍat al-Muḥibbīn)

4. On Dunya (Worldly Life):

"The dunya is like a shadow—if you chase it, it will run away, but if you turn away from it, it will follow you."

(From: Al-Fawā’id)

5. On Knowledge & Action:

"Knowledge without action is like a tree without fruit."

(From: Miftāh Dār al-Saʿādah)

6. On Repentance (Tawbah):

"The sinner who repents is like one who never sinned."

(From: Al-Wābil al-Ṣayyib)

7. On Hope & Fear:

"The heart in its journey to Allah is like a bird—love is its head, and hope and fear are its two wings. If the head is healthy, the wings will fly perfectly."

The Power of Istighfaar : What effect does it have on your life?

One of the righteous people said,

"Do not overthink rather do a lot of istighfaar, for Allah taala opens doors with istighfaar that are not opened by overthinking."

‼️SPEAKING GOOD WORDS IN TIMES OF CALAMITIES‼️

Umm Salamah (may ALLĀH be pleased with her) narrated: "The Messenger of ALLĀH said to us: 'When you attend to the sick or dying then say only good, for indeed the angels say "Amin" to what you say'."

She said: "When Abu Salamah died I went to the Prophet and said: 'O Messenger of ALLĀH! Abu Salamah has died'.

He (ﷺ) said: Then say: "O ALLĀH forgive me and him, and give me a good replacement for him".

She said: "I said that, and ALLĀH gave a replacement that was better than him: The Messenger of ALLĀH".

‼️LESSONS AND BENEFITS:‼️

• The individual should submit his affairs to ALLĀH when calamities befall for HE is the One who decrees, and from HIM comes the compensation.

• The Prophets or Saints, whether living or deceased, should not be called upon during times of calamity.

• Seek religious guidance from an upright scholar during trials and calamity.

• Say good words or keep quiet during calamity.

• One of the instances when dua are accepted is during times of calamity.

• Supplications should be made for the sick to be healed and for the dying person to receive mercy and forgiveness.

• Indication that the Angels are present with the sick and at times of calamity and they say 'Aāmīn' to the supplications made by those present.

• Stick to the supplications of the Prophet (ﷺ), as they are more effective in having du'as accepted.

• With patience comes relief. ALLĀH will replace the loss with something even greater if one accepts it with faith and patience.

Our Lord, grant us patience in times of calamity and acceptance of YOUR decree. Relieve us from troubles and bestow upon us goodness from YOURSELF. Aamin!

Anger will always make our brain work less and our tongues work more.We won't realize in the heat of the moment, but the harsh words we speak will forever be engraved in their hearts.
So controlling ourselves at the heat of anger is good forever. Our silence might sadden them, but our angry words will permanently damage our relationship with them. Careless words when spoken and soft hearts when broken are the hardest to repair. May Allah help us all, indeed it's a difficult thing to do that's why the reward is so big.

If you are looking for wealth, somebody is looking for health.

If you are looking for health, somebody just died.

If you are looking for power, somebody has acquired and use it and now is powerless.

Each time you drive a fancy car, somebody, somewhere is dying in a car crash.

Each time a new mansion springs from the earth, a new grave is dug below the earth.

Each time you throw away a morsel, somewhere, somebody is searching for a morsel to survive.

Each time you throw food into dustbin, someone is looking for remnant to eat.

Each time you ask Allah to promote or change your present situation, someone is praying to get to your present situation.

For each smile on the planet, there's a drop of tear in another place on the planet.

For each celebration of childbirth, there are tears of burial.

Each time you use toilet or drink water, remember someone is using a pipe for the same purpose.

Do you even realise that while you are praying for long life, someone somewhere, not seeing any reason to continue living, is wishing for death?

The joy of life lies in knowing your limitations and your final and inevitable destination.

May we be guided rightly. Aameen

Be contented.

Say Alhamdhulillah

This world is a place of tribulation and tests!

If you accept this and make this a foundation of everything that happens in your life, you will live in peace.

"Do you think that you will enter Paradise without having suffered like those who passed away before you? Affliction and hardship befell them and so shaken were they that the Messenger and the believers with him would exclaim, When will God's help come? Surely the help of Allah is near." (Quran 2:214)

If you ever feel tired and hopeless, remember the words of your Lord:

سَيَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا
Allah will bring ease after hardship. (Surah At-Talaq: 7)

There’s no problem without a solution, and there’s no pain that lasts forever. Behind every closed door and behind every delay is wisdom and a divine plan.

In a time where burnout is normal and stress is constant, hold firmly to two things, patience (fasting) and prayer.

وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. (Surah Al-Baqarah: 153).

The road ahead is filled with mercy and hope, because the One who promised you ease, never breaks His promise.
