"Do you think that you will enter Paradise without having suffered like those who passed away before you? Affliction and hardship befell them and so shaken were they that the Messenger and the believers with him would exclaim, When will God's help come? Surely the help of Allah is near." (Quran 2:214)

If you ever feel tired and hopeless, remember the words of your Lord:

سَيَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا
Allah will bring ease after hardship. (Surah At-Talaq: 7)

There’s no problem without a solution, and there’s no pain that lasts forever. Behind every closed door and behind every delay is wisdom and a divine plan.

In a time where burnout is normal and stress is constant, hold firmly to two things, patience (fasting) and prayer.

وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. (Surah Al-Baqarah: 153).

The road ahead is filled with mercy and hope, because the One who promised you ease, never breaks His promise.

The wages of a worker should be paid before his sweat dries up. This means that the wages or salaries of anyone who works for you should be paid immediately he is done with the job or as was agreed in the terms of employment. Delaying the payment, even if you eventually pay it is injustice which Allāh will ask you about, and Allāh can for that deprive your business its blessings. Salary is not a privilege, it is a debt for service rendered.

Employers should fear Allāh and deal with their employees justly in a fair and considerate manner. They are not slaves and even slaves deserve mercy let alone workers.

Both the employee and the employer should fear the day they will stand before Allāh and account for their actions. They will be judged by how they adhered to the terms of engagement between them, unless the clause goes against the dictates of Allāh. Injustice can not be justified by injustice, so that the employee can not claim the reason for his corruption was his employer’s injustice, and vice versa.

Everybody will bear his own burden based on how he feared Allāh in the discharge of his duties.

قُلۡ أَغَیۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبۡغِی رَبࣰّا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲۚ وَلَا تَكۡسِبُ كُلُّ نَفۡسٍ إِلَّا عَلَیۡهَاۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةࣱ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَیُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ فِیهِ تَخۡتَلِفُونَ﴿ ١٦٤ ﴾

Say, "Is it other than Allah I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ."

Be Positive!

It is only right that a person be optimistic, feeling happy about the good he sees [in things]; and he should not look at the life lying ahead of him in this world as dark and dismal so that he becomes weary [of life] and loses hope.

True Compassion Isn’t Seasonal

"Sadaqah is not seasonal. The Ummah suffers in every month, not just in Ramadān. If you only give when you're fasting, thinking 'I want extra reward' that’s not compassion, that’s convenience and thinking about yourself only.

The Ummah needs us now, not next Ramadān. Children don’t wait for the crescent to cry from hunger. Homes aren’t rebuilt once a year. Grief, war, and poverty don’t take a break.

The enemies of this Dīn don’t stop funding oppression all year round. So why do we go silent after Ramadān?

If your mindset is “give only when rewards multiply,” then where is your sense of responsibility to this Ummah?"

What is Taqwa?

Taqwa is not just a concept; it is a way of life that fills the heart with consciousness of the Almighty and keeps a believer steadfast on the right path. It is a deep-rooted feeling that influences our thoughts, words, and actions.

Taqwa is when missing a single prayer makes your heart restless because you know the true value of standing before your Creator. It is the discomfort you feel after speaking a lie, even if no one else knows, because your soul is aware that falsehood displeases Allah.

Taqwa is the guilt that haunts you after hurting someone—whether intentionally or unintentionally—because Islam teaches kindness and compassion. It is the shame that follows a sin you committed, fully aware that it displeases Allah, and the regret that pushes you towards repentance.

Taqwa is the sleepless night spent in worry and tears after disobeying or disrespecting your parents, for their pleasure is linked to the pleasure of Allah. It is the quiet sobs in the darkness of the night, when no one sees you except the One above the Arsh, as you seek His mercy and forgiveness.

Taqwa is the invisible barrier that stops you from sinning, even when you are alone, knowing that the Almighty is always watching. It is the courage to stay firm in pleasing Him, even when the whole world tries to lead you astray.

Taqwa is choosing to wear the beard or hijab—not for society, but solely to obey your Rabb, and ensuring that it follows the way of the Sunnah. It is smiling through life's difficulties, knowing that this world is only a temporary test, and true joy awaits in the hereafter.

Taqwa is reflected in a believer’s good manners, kindness, and humility, because true love and fear of Allah refine one’s character. It is the daily struggle to improve oneself, to become a better Muslim with each passing day.

Taqwa is not about being perfect; rather, it is about falling, repenting, and rising again—never giving up on the path of righteousness. It is about continuously striving for the pleasure of the Almighty, no matter how many times you stumble.

Ultimately, Taqwa is what resides in the heart—if the heart is filled with true consciousness of the Almighty, then the body will naturally follow with righteous actions. And the sweetness of these actions brings peace to the soul… Alhamdulillah.

It Was Narrated That Hani, The Freed Slave Of Uthman, (رضي الله عنه) Said: Uthman (رضي الله عنه) Used To Stand By A Grave And Weep Until His Beard Became Wet. It Was Said To Him: You Remember Paradise And Hell And You Do Not Weep, But You Weep For This? He Said: The Messenger Of Allah (ﷺ) Said: The Grave Is The First Stage Of The Hereafter. If One Is Saved From It (I.E., Its Torments), Then What Comes After It Is Easier Than It. But If One Is Not Saved From It {I.E. Its Torments), Then What Comes After It Is Worse.And The Messenger Of Allah (ﷺ) Said: By Allah, I Have Never Seen Any Frightening Scene But The Grave Is More Frightening Than It.

If he cannot do so, then with his tongue (verbally, by advising and speaking against the evil action). If he cannot do so, then with his heart (by disliking the evil action), which is the weakest level of faith/Imaan.”

Muslims By Name, Disbelievers By Actions

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah(رحمه الله):

Most Muslims are born to two Muslim parents, essentially becoming Muslims by name, without there being any actual faith on their part. Then, when they reach puberty, from them are those that are blessed with actual faith, performing their obligations. Likewise, from them are those who perform these acts out of ingrained habit, and just to go along with his relatives, the people of the land in which he lives, etc.

For example, he gives Zakah simply because it is a habitual tradition that the ruler collects tax, and not because he realizes either the generality or specifics of the obligation to pay it. So, in his eyes, there is no difference between the innovated tax and the legislated Zakah. Such is the case with the inhabitant of Makkah who goes out to ‘Arafat every year simply because this is the way it is done, without realizing the generality or specifics of this being an act of worship of Allah.

So, the acts of worship performed by such people is invalid, without a doubt. In fact, the texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah, as well as the consensus of the Ummah, are clear in the ruling that these actions do not fulfill the obligation placed upon their doer…

So, the Islam of most people is by name, only. Rather, it (faith) only enters into their hearts during the course of the matter (i.e., later in their lives), if it enters at all. So, were this intention not to be obligatory upon them, they would not at all attempt to have it, and their hearts would be empty of it, and they would essentially be hypocrites, carrying out their actions out of habit and imitation, as is the case with many people.

Reconciling Between People

‎{لَا خَيْرَ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِنْ نَجْوَاهُمْ إِلَّا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلَاحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللَّهِ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا}

❝There is no good in most of their secret talk, only in commanding charity, or good, or reconciliation between people.

To anyone who does these things, seeking to please God, We shall give a rich reward.❞

[an-Nisa’ 4:114]

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“Shall I not tell you something that is better than the status of (voluntary) fasting, prayer and charity?”

They said: “Yes.” He said: “Reconciling in a case of discord...” (1)

The Prophet (ﷺ) also said: “Do not hate one another, do not envy one another, do not turn away from one another.

Be, O slaves of Allah, brothers.

It is not permissible for a Muslim to forsake his brother for more than three days.” (2)

Lessons I learned from washing dead bodies for several years:
• You own nothing.
• Death has no age.
• Don't wear nail polish.
• The body you're so proud of will one day be carried by others.
• Tears don't wake the dead.
• Family leaves after the burial — only your deeds stay.
• Your beauty, wealth, and status don't matter in the grave.
• Some bodies are light and peaceful, others heavy and difficult — it says a lot.
• The shroud is simple. The life should be simpler.
• The only true preparation for death is sincere repentance.
• Time waits for no one — neither does death.
• The grave doesn't care about your plans, only your prayers.

Why RIBA Is Prohibited (Haraam):
============================

The literal meaning of interest or Al-RIBA as it is used in the Arabic language means to excess or increase. In the Islamic terminology interest means effortless profit or that profit which comes free from compensation or that extra earning obtained that is free of exchange.

"Riba` is a loan with the condition that the borrower will return to the lender more than and better than the quantity borrowed."

How Is Interest Illegal

The definition of interest has already been mentioned as well as that it is prohibited. If we explore the Qur’an we will come across at least four places where Allah has mentioned interest.

The first one is in Surah Al-baqarah verse no.275
"Those who devour usury will not stand except as stands one whom the Satan by his touch has driven to madness. That is because they say, "trade is like usury", but Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden usury".

In the next verse 276 in the same place he says,
"Allah will deprive usury of all blessing, and will give increase for deeds of charity, for he does not love any ungrateful sinner."

Two verses later in verse 278 he says,
"Oh you who believe! Fear Allah and give up what remains of your demand for usury if you are indeed believers."

In verse 279 he says,
"If you do not, take notice of war from Allah and his Messenger sallallahu alaihe wasallm but if you repent you shall have your capital sum. Deal not unjustly and you shall not be dealt with unjustly."

In the second place in Surah Aal-Imran, verse no.130 Allah says,
"Oh you who believe! Devour not usury doubled and multiplied; but fear Allah that you may prosper."

In the third place in Surah Al-Nisaa’ Allah states in verse 161,
"That they took usury though they were forbidden and they devoured peoples wealth wrongfully; we have prepared for those amongst them who reject faith a grievous chastisement."
In the fourth place, Surah Al-Room, verse no.39 Allah mentions
"That which you give in usury for increase through the property of people will have no increase with Allah: but that which you give for charity seeking the countenance of Allah, it is these who will get a recompense multiplied."

Prohibition of Interest in Hadith:

Abu Hurayrah (RadiAllahu Anha) reports that the Prophet Muhammed (peace & blessings be upon him) said:
“Refrain from seven deadly things: The companions asked him: What are these? He said: To associate partners with Allah, sorcery; to kill a soul without valid reason in the eyes of Allah; to devour interest; to devour the property of the orphan; to flee from the battlefield; and to falsely implicate chaste, innocent,
believing women of vulgarity.”
[Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Nasai]

It is reported from Abu Sa‘eed al-Khudari (RadiAllahu Anha), he said: the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammed (peace & blessings be upon him) said: “[Exchange] gold with gold, silver with silver, wheat with wheat, barley with barley, dates with dates, salt with salt in equal quantities and spot. Anyone who increases the quantity or asks for increase indulges in riba. The receiver and payer are equal in this.” [Sahih Muslim]

And there are many more verses in Qur’an and many more hadeeths too which says that Allah SWT has forbidden riba to the Ummah of Prophet Muhammed (peace & blessings be upon him)
