Shaykh ibn al-ʿUthaymīn رحمه الله said:

"I am free to do whatever I want"— this is incorrect.

We say: You are not free to disobey Allah.

Rather, if you disobey your Rabb, you can no longer call yourself a slave of Allah, because you have become enslaved to Shayṭān and to whims and desires.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said to his companions, "Is it difficult for any of you to recite one third of the Qur'an in one night?" This suggestion was difficult for them so they said, "Who among us has the power to do so, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" Allah Apostle replied: " Allah (the) One, the Self-Sufficient Master Whom all creatures need.' (Surat Al-Ikhlas 112.1--to the End) is equal to one third of the Qur'an.

Whoever relies on his wealth will lack.

Whoever relies on his knowledge will go astray.

Whoever relies on his intelligence will be confused.

Whoever relies on people will get bored.

Whoever relies on his honour will fall.

Whoever relies on Allah will not lack, will not go astray, will not be confused, will not be bored, and will never lack!

He is Allah! He is Allah!

And is there anyone greater and mightier than Him?

Allahu Akbar!

Why do Muslims fast on ʿĀshūrāʾ?

Because it marks the day Allāh freed Nabi Mūsā عليه السلام and Banī Isrā’īl from Firʿawn’s tyranny.

When Rasūlullāh ﷺ arrived in Madinah, he foundthe Jews fasting on this day (10th Muharram).
He asked about it, and they replied:

“This is a great day. It is the day on which Allāh saved Mūsā and his people, and drowned Firʿawn and his people.
So Mūsā fasted on it as a sign of *gratitude*, and we also fast on it.”

👉 This clearly shows: It was a day of celebration and thanksgiving…not mourning.

🕊️ Reflect on this:

🔹 Rasūlullāh ﷺ passed away in 11 AH.
🔹 The tragedy of Karbala occurred in 61 AH.
👉That’s a 50-year gap.

❓What were the Muslims (including Sayyidunā ʿAlī, al-Ḥasan, al-Ḥusayn رضي الله عنهم ) doing for those 50 years?

✅ They were fasting on ʿĀshūrāʾ, in line with the Prophetic Sunnah.
It was a celebratory day of shukr (gratitude)…not a day of mourning.

Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) lists -

¤ Four things destroy the body -
¤ Four things bring joy to the heart -
¤ Four things bring to the face joy and respect - ¤ Four things bring hatred and animosity -
¤ Four things bring sustenance (rizq): -
¤ Four things prevent sustenance (rizq):

▪︎Four things destroy the body:

1. Grief.
2. Excessive sexual intercourse.
3. Hunger.
4. Staying up late at night.

▪︎Four things bring joy to the heart:

1. Looking at loved ones.
2. Looking [and reflecting] at the blue sky.
3. Looking [and reflecting] at flowing water.
4. Looking [and reflecting] at greenery.

▪︎Four things dry the face and remove its joy:

1. Lying.
2. Insolence.
3. Arrogance.
4. Abundance of sins.

▪︎Four things bring joy and delight to the face:

1. Dignity.
2. Loyalty.
3. Generosity.
4. Taqwa.

▪︎Four things bring hatred and animosity:

1. Arrogance.
2. Jealousy.
3. Lying.
4. Backbiting.

▪︎Four things bring sustenance (rizq):

1. Night prayer.
2. Frequently seeking Allah's forgiveness before dawn.
3. Continuous charity.
4. Remembrance of Allah at the beginning and end of the day.

▪︎Four things prevent sustenance (rizq):

1. Lack of prayers.
2. Cheating and betrayal.
3. Laziness.
4. Sleeping after Fajr.

WHEN LIFE GOT REAL, IT SHOWED ME PEOPLE’S TRUE COLORS.

In challenging times, you discover who truly stands by you and who doesn’t.

Some people reveal their strength and support, proving to be unwavering allies.

Others may disappear or show their true intentions, highlighting their lack of commitment or empathy.

These moments can be eye-opening, teaching us valuable lessons about trust and loyalty.

It’s a chance to evaluate relationships and surround ourselves with those who genuinely care.

Ultimately, understanding people’s true colors helps us focus on meaningful connections that lift us up when it matters most.

If you don't find me in Jannah, ask about me.

Surely the people of Jannah when they enter Jannah and they don’t find those companions of theirs who were with them upon good in this world, then verily they will intercede for them in front of Allah Ta’ala and they will say: “O Rabb we have brothers who used to read salaah and fast with us, we do not see them!”

Allaah, jalla wa’alaa, will say •►“Go to the fire and take out any person who had even an atoms amount of Imaan in their heart!” ♥️

[A similar narration is available in both Bukhari and Muslim from the hadith of Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudari concerning the intercession of the believers on the day of Judgment]

And Hassan Basri, rahimahu Allah, has said ► “Have lots of believing friends because they will be able to intercede for you on the day of qiyaamah”

Ibnul Jawzi, rahimahu Allah, said ►“If you don’t find me with you in Jannah then ask about me, so u should say ‘ O our Rabb so and so slave of yours used to remind us about you”.

And I am asking you…

If you don’t find me in Jannah then ask about me, because I reminded you of Allah (swt) even if it was only for one moment. :’)

May Allah make us neighbors in His Gardens of Eternal Delight! Ameen 🤲🏼

Prophet ﷺ said: "... He (Allāh) looks at you when you are in the state of hardship and despair, and laughs, knowing that your relief is close."

(4) From a love for this world to a love for the Hereafter.
(5) From arrogance to humility.
(6) From ill intent to sincere advice.

Al-Ḥāfiẓ Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said:

“A believer will inevitably be tested with painful and difficult trials, in order that his faith may be put to the test.”

*“I have No Time”:*

A twelve-hour journey has now shrunk to four hours, Yet the man says – no time.

A family of twelve is now just two, Yet the man says – no time.

A message that once took four weeks, now takes four seconds, Yet the man says – no time.

Once it took years to see the face of a distant person, Now it appears in seconds –Yet the man says – no time.

The time and effort it took to move around the house, Now ends in seconds with a lift, Yet the man says – no time.

The man who once stood in bank lines for hours, Now completes transactions in seconds on his mobile, Yet the man says – no time.

Medical tests that once took weeks, Now happen in a few hours, Yet the man says – no time.

While riding an Activa, one hand on the handle, the other on the phone – Because he doesn’t have time to stop and talk.

While driving a car, one hand on the steering, the other on WhatsApp – Because he has no time.

When traffic jams, he jumps lanes to create a new one Because he has no time.

Among company, his fingers are busy on his phone, Because he has somewhere to be – no time.

When alone, he’s relaxed, But becomes restless in the presence of others – Because he has no time.

No time to read books,
No time to call parents,
No time to meet a friend,
No time to enjoy nature

But –
He has time for IPL,
Time for Netflix,
Time for pointless reels,
Time to debate politics –
But no time for himself…

The world became simpler, faster, Technology came closer, distances disappeared, Comforts increased, Opportunities grew.. Yet man kept saying no time, and drifted away from himself.

To sit silently,
To speak with oneself,
To understand oneself,
Or to simply laugh for a few pure moments –
He says no time.

*And then one day,Time itself slips away. In that final moment, he realizes – There was time… but kept saying no time and forgot to live.*

_So today, decide–Keep a little time for yourself,_

_Give a little time to relationships,_

*_Live a little for your heart, your peace, the essence of life. Because no time is not a truth – It’s just a habit… and it needs to change._*

This month is Muḥarram — a sacred month filled with both pain and justice.

Yes, we remember the heartbreaking martyrdom of al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī عليه السلام, betrayed not by Ahl al-Sunnah, but by those who pretend to love him and then abandoned him in his final hour.
They cry, wail, and beat themselves — not out of true love — but because deep down, they know they were the reason.

And what’s even more striking?

Allāh humiliates them every single year.
They slash their backs, pound their chests, scream in the streets — thinking it’s devotion — but we know the truth. It’s poetic justice. Because the very same people who slandered our pure, perfect mother ʿĀ’ishah al-Ṣiddīqah عليها السلام — the most beloved woman to the Prophet ﷺ — now walk the earth cursed by their own actions, exposing themselves every Muḥarram as the misguided innovators they are.

“Indeed, those who slander chaste, unaware, believing women are cursed in this world and the Hereafter…”
(Qur’an 24:23)

They mourn a man they betrayed.
They slander a woman Allāh Himself defended.
And they bleed every year as a divine humiliation, while we stand tall with clarity, with tawḥīd, and with loyalty to the Prophet ﷺ, his wives, and his true family.

Let them wail. We’ll worship.
Let them lie. We’ll speak ḥaqq.
Let them bleed. Allāh is the best of judges.

He replied, “I complain of my anguish and sorrow only to Allah, and I know from Allah what you do not know.
