_The pain of what has passed:_
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“(The pain) of what has passed can not be removed by grieving over it, but only through:
• Acceptance (i.e. being pleased with Allāh’s Decree) (al-Ridhaa)
• Gratitude (al-Hamd)
• Patience (al-Sabr)
• Faith in Predestination
(al-Imaan bil-Qadr)

Want Allah to ease your affairs? Then ease the affairs of others.
Want your worries lifted? Lift the burden off someone else.
Want more provision? Be a source of provision for others.
Every time someone asks for help, don’t see it as a burden, see it as a gift, an opportunity sent your way.
Because when you help others, you’re actually helping yourself.
The Messenger ﷺ said:
وَاللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ
“Allah helps His servant as long as the servant is helping his brother.”

“Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will come to pass." (At-Tur:7)
It caused him to weep, and his weeping became so severe that he fell ill, and people began to visit him due to his illness.
He would recite his daily portion of the Qur'ān through the night sometimes and pass by a particular verse and it would affect him, so he would remain in his house for days until the people would visit him because they thought he was ill.
He had two visible black lines under his eyes from the effects of crying."

My sweethearts! Troubles in this world are as much as human breaths. many of them are beyond your imagination. and some are such that their pain is enough to wound your soul!!
Every house has a different chapter of grievance. every person has a different story of restlessness. every human life is suffering its share of discomfort and discomfort. This pain is a common legacy of humanity. But what do you know?!
The mercy of God is all over it. Stop taking pain as your possession because it only increases the pain! Try to find your portion of blessing and be contented with it.
Rolling hands to help others. honest brotherhood. a friend who warns about sins. a selfless smile. a mother's affection. a father's unspoken agony that he goes down to the grave with him. flowers of children. time spent in the mosque. midnight stream. woke up for prayer. Struggling to Wake Up for Tahajjud?
Question:
How can I consistently wake up for Tahajjud?
I try so hard, set alarms, and intend to pray, but I still struggle to get up. What practical steps can help me make Tahajjud a regular part of my life?
Answer:
Tahajjud brings in discipline into life but to reach to that point we have to take few steps in start and then we get trained for it:
●Try to sleep early like around 11pm and avoid screens and late night chats or food.
●Make sincere dua before sleeping and ask Allah to wake you up for Tahajjud.. remember He knows your feelings.
●Use multiple alarms and keep one away from your bed so you’re forced to get up
●Try taking nap in the day even for 15-30 mins and it helps reduce fatigue.
●Avoid heavy dinner as a light stomach helps early waking.
●Be consistent by starting with just 2 rakah, even once a week, and build up.
✨And most of all DO NOT give up…. Remember slow and steady wins the race and when you take baby steps towards Allah then He starts making bigger steps easier for you.

Do people really think their wealth will accompany them in the grave?
Not a single coin, not a single noscript, not even the luxurious clothes they once wore, only a thin piece of cloth will wrap their body, and even that will fade with time.
So why live as if this world is forever?
Your wealth won’t follow you into the grave, but your intentions and actions will.
Use what you have for the sake of Allah, let your wealth work for your hereafter.
Don’t just aim for a return on investment in this world… aim for an ongoing charity (ṣadaqah jāriyah) that rewards you even in your grave.
Because in the end, you own nothing, except what you gave for the sake of Allah.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbor to his side goes hungry.” (Sahih Al-Jaami: 5382).
We learn from the Hadith that feeding the poor and needy increases a persons Eemaan (faith), therefore, bringing him closer to Allah ﷻ.
And we all need to strive to draw nearer to Allah ﷻ. This is why Ibn Al-Qayim said: “you are in need of the reward of your charity more than the poor is in need of your charity.”
Make a sincere intention and feed at least one poor person today for the sake of Allah ﷻ in order to drawer nearer to Allah ﷻ.

Allah will judge His slaves in a fair and just manner, such as mankind will never have seen before. If he did good, then his reward will be good, and if he did evil, then his reward will be evil. No soul will be treated with the slightest injustice be it the weight of a mustard seed or a speck of dust. No person earns any sin except against himself only, and no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Every soul will only be recompensed for their deeds, good for good and evil for evil. No person shall carry the burden of another person, a fact that indicates Allah’s Perfect Justice.

🌺Complain to Allaah alone!
🎓By Shaikh al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah
“al-Sabr al-Jameel” (the good patience الصَّبْرُ الْجَمِيلُ) is that patience in which there is no complaining (towards the creation). Yaqoob عليه السلام said:
﴿إنَّمَا أَشْكُو بَثِّي وَحُزْنِي إلَى اللَّهِ﴾
{I only complain of my grief and sorrow to Allaah}
📚[Surah Yusuf (12): 86]
Even though he also said:
﴿فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ وَاللَّهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَى مَا تَصِفُونَ﴾
{So (for me) patience is most fitting. And it is Allah (Alone) Whose help can be sought against that which you assert}
📚[Surah Yusuf (12): 18]
Complaining to Allaah (about the harm that has befallen you) does not contradict or negate “the good patience”.
And whenever Umar Ibn al-Khattaab رضي الله عنه used to recite in the Fajr prayer:
﴿إِنَّمَا أَشْكُو بَثِّي وَحُزْنِي إِلَى اللَّـهِ وَأَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللَّـهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ﴾
{I only complain of my grief and sorrow to Allaah and I know from Allaah what you do not know}
📚[Surah Yusuf (12): 86]
He used to weep so profusely that his sobbing would be heard in the last rows.
(Complain to the Creator) instead of complaining to the creation!
(Complaining to the Creator is permissible) because the one who is complaining is doing so based on the situation he is in, either (beseeching Allaah) to remove the thing which is harming him, or seeking (from Allaah) that which is beneficial for him. A person has been commanded to beseech the Creator instead of the creation. Allaah تعالى said:
﴿فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ * وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَب﴾
{So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allaah’s worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations.}
📚[Surah al-Sharh (94): 7-8]
And the Prophet ﷺ said to Ibn Abbaas رضي الله عنهما: ❝If you ask, then ask Allaah [alone]; and if you seek help, then seek help from Allaah [alone].❞
📚[Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2516) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]
And it is a must that a person should adhere to two things:
1) To do that which he has been commanded to do and to shun that which has been prohibited.
2) And to be patient when a thing which has Decreed befalls him.
The first is from Taqwaa (piety) and the second is patience (Sabr).

📓 (Al-Bukhari & Muslim).
This is the wording in Sahih Muslim. The narration in Al-Bukhari is: Messenger of Allâh ((ﷺ) said: 🔰
“When one of you looks at someone who is superior to him in property and appearance, he should look at someone who is inferior to him”.
📖Commentary:
By looking at the worldly goods and riches of others, a person gradually becomes unthankful for the blessings which Allâh has bestowed on him. The best remedy for this “disease” is that which has been prescribed by Messenger of Allâh (ﷺ) in this Hadith. The remedy is that one should look at the people who have lesser worldly goods and riches than one’s own. But from a religious angle, one should look towards those who are more fearful of Allâh and observe their Salat meticulously, give their Zakât, practice Siam, if able complete the Hajj, kindness towards the parents, helping the orphan, feeding the hungry, being honest, smiling and doing other good deeds etc… so that one becomes more fond of obedience of Allâh, has a greater fear of Allâh and devotes more time to prayer and devotion. This dispensation is also given in other Hadith.
📙[Riyaadiss-Saliheen (The Meadows of the Righteous)

"A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and will be cast into Hell: his intestines will pour forth and he will go round them as a donkey goes round a millstone."
The inmates of Hell will gather round him and say: "What has happened to you, O so-and-so? Were you not enjoining us to do good and forbidding us to evil?"
He will reply: "I was enjoying you to do good, but was not doing it myself; and I was forbidding you to do evil, but was doing it my self."

He will reply: "I was enjoying you to do good, but was not doing it myself; and I was forbidding you to do evil, but was doing it my self."

DEATH IS INEVITABLE AND WE ALL MUST DIE BUT ARE WE PREPARED FOR THAT JOURNEY TO THE NEXT REALM EXISTENCE?
Allah Ta'ala says (what means)
O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions (good or bad), a sure returning, so you will meet it.
[Suratul Inshiqaq 84:6]
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Seven deeds of a servant continue to be rewarded after his death while he is in his grave: knowledge to be learned, constructing a canal, digging a well, planting a date-palm tree, building a mosque, handing down a written copy of the Quran, and leaving a righteous child who seeks forgiveness for him after his death.”

I think of my death literally everyday that I may not be here tomorrow and that I will have to leave my wife, family and children behind to make my journey back to Allah alone.
Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered a palm garden of the tribe of Al-Najjar one day, and he heard the voices of men from the tribe who had died in the time of ignorance being punished in their graves. The Prophet went out startled and he commanded his companions, saying, “Seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave.”

Mu’adh ibn Anas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever imparts knowledge will have the reward of whoever acted upon it, without detracting from the reward of one who acted.”

Allah has blessed us with so many gifts good health, a home, a bed, food, our eyes, and every part of our body. If you were to count them, they would number in the hundreds and thousands: the beauty of this world, children, parents, a wife/husband.
Yet, we keep complaining all the time. This is missing, that is missing.
Ungrateful people will always complain and overlook Allah’s favors.
Allah says:
If tried to count Allah’s blessings, you would never be able to number them. Indeed humankind is truly unfair, ˹totally˺ ungrateful.
Surah Ibraheem verse 34.
Yet, we keep complaining all the time. This is missing, that is missing.
Ungrateful people will always complain and overlook Allah’s favors.
Allah says:
If tried to count Allah’s blessings, you would never be able to number them. Indeed humankind is truly unfair, ˹totally˺ ungrateful.

Imaam ash-Shawkaanee, may Allaah have mercy upon him, mentioned:
فترى الرجل إذا لقي أهله كان أسوأ الناس أخلاقاً وأشجعهم نفساً وأقلهم خيراً، وإذا لقي غير الأهل من الأجانب لانت عريكته وانبسطت أخلاقه وجادت نفسه، وكثر خيره، ولا شك أن من كان كذلك فهو محروم التوفيق، زائغ عن سواء الطريق، نسأل الله السلامة!
“You find a man, if he comes into contact with his family, he displays the worst of character, he is prideful, and very little good is seen from him.
But if he meets with other people, his disposition is very gentle, his character is very soft, he is very giving, and he displays much good. There is no doubt, this type of individual is from those who have been prevented from good and success, and he is one who has deviated from the correct path. We ask Allaah for protection!"
●[Nayl al-Awtaar 2/246]
