🚀 Clarificiation of a doubt concerning "radd al basr" (lowering the gaze):
It has been authentically narrated that Aisha (radiyallahu anha) used to watch Abyssinians playing games in the Masjid. So is it permissible for us (women) to look at non Mahram men playing games ?
First of all, "playing games" (يلعبون) here refers to the war - games helpful in Jihad. It is permissible to play, as it helps prepare for Jihad.
Secondly, looking at non mahram has been clearly prohibited in Islam. Only Allah has the right to be obeyed and it is he who decides haram and halal, and he said, "Tell the believing men to lower their gaze." And he said, "Tell the believing women to lower their gaze"
So, why was our mother Aisha (radiyallahu anha) then looking at them ? [1]
The best answer to this is that the ruling for Niqab was revealed in 5 AH. And this incident happened before the prohibition.
The messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "O 'Ali! Do not follow a look with a look, the first is for you, but the next is not for you." (At Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood)
We must always look at the context of the ayah or hadith before speaking. Therefore, fatawas by those so-called "intellectuals" permitting watching games and looking at non Mahrams using this narration is wrong.

[1] There is another answer to this given and explained by scholars. That is, in *some* cases looking without desire i.e. for need or otherwise is fine as long as it is without desire . for example looking at the face of a woman again and again if she is your customer and you are in the shop. Likewise a teacher, likewise for other reasons
Tafsir of the Ayah :
قل للمؤمنين يغضوا من أبصارهم
Tell the believing men to lower their gaze
(Surah Noor 30)
1.Imam Fakhar ud Din Ar Razi al-`Ashari rahimahullah says :
Majority of the (Mufassiren and Scholars) have said that "من" here is for Tabe'ez (i.e for some of the gazes are harram not every gaze falls in this category) and the meaning of "to lower the gaze" is from what is Harram and Restrict your Gaze to Only what is permissible.
[Ref: Tafsir al Kabir, Under Surah An Nur V:30)]
2. Imam Ibn al Arabi al-Maliki from among the Ahl al-hadeeth rahimahullah in his Tafsir held the same opinion :
قوله : { يغضوا من أبصارهم } فأدخل حرف { من } المقتضية للتبعيض
[Ref: Ahkaam al Quran]
3. Imam Qurtubi after quoting the Proofs says :
وهذا يقوي قول من يقول : إن من للتبعيض
And this strengthens the saying who says من is for Tabe'ez.
The Same opinion is held by many Mufasireen such as Al Zamkhishri al-Mu`tazili, Abu Bakr Al Jassas al-Mu`tazili, Abu Hayan Andalusi, Ibn Atiya, Ibn Ashur etc.
Though Majority of the Mufasireen agrees that every gaze is not harram unless it is meant to look her with Desire.
And it is only permissible to look at her face and hands as said by Ibn e Abdul Bar :
وجائز أن ينظر إلى ذلك منها كل من نظر إليها بغير ريبة ولا مكروه، وأما النظر للشهوة, فحرام تأملها من فوق ثيابها لشهوة فكيف بالنظر إلى وجهها مسفرة؟!
And it is permissible to look at her whatever (means face and hands) is shown from her without any desire and it is not disliked and as for the looking her with desire So it is Harram to vision her above the clothes with desire, So how about to see her face which is visible ? (It is also harram).

Story Telling Is Not Knowledge
From Khabab [رضي الله عنه] from the Prophet [ﷺ] who said:
﴿إن بني إسرائيل لما هلكوا قصوا﴾
❝Indeed when Banu Israel where destroyed they would tell stories.❞

I say and it is possible to say: That the reason for their destruction is the importance and their admonishing with stories without Fiqh and beneficial knowledge which would acquaint the people with their Deen and carry them to perform righteous actions.
When they began telling stories they were destroyed and this is the matter with many of the story tellers of our time who spend most of their speech of admonitions around narrations by the Banu Israel, heart rendering stories and tales of the Soofis.
We ask Allaah for goodness.Aameen

🌸 Women Only Taking Knowledge from Women 📚
🎓 Shaykh Ubayd al-Jâbirî
📌 This is a very important issue as there are those who promote this false notion and actually encourage sisters to abandon the lessons of students of knowledge who have graduated from the Islamic Universities and are well-known to the scholars.
📜 Question from a sister:
“What is the ruling on those who teach the women and say to them: “Do not listen to the lessons of the scholars because they use complex expressions and it is obligatory upon you to take knowledge from your sisters who are students of knowledge”?
💡 Al-‘Allâmah Ubayd al-Jâbirî:
“The woman saying this is ignorant. The women in the three praiseworthy generations and those upon goodness after them who came upon their way, the woman would take knowledge from the men in the masjid behind the screen. Likewise the origin is that knowledge is taken from the men, this is the origin, or perhaps we say the most common. Those who became most prominent in knowledge (i.e. of Islam) and branched out with it are the men. Also the scholars from amongst the women were rare and few.
On top of this the expressions of the people of knowledge are not vague whereas no one can understand them. That which we see is that the men and women from the common folk attend the knowledge based lessons and benefit, (and again), the woman who says this is ignorant. Yes, if you find a woman who is a scholar, just as preceded in the first answer and she sits amongst the women and they take knowledge directly from her by way of mouth, no doubt this is great good.”

Response : If the face is erased from the picture, then by doing so you have attained what is required; because a real picture is not complete without a face, and the face includes the whole head; So if is erased, then no harm remains.

SubhanAllah... A beautiful supplication. [PLEASE MEMORISE ]

How one should utilise precious Time⏰
Shaykh 'Abdul Muhsin al-'Abbaad said,
"A person should spend his time with what will give him good in return in this life and the life after this. Let him occupy himself with remembrance of Allaah, read the Qur'aan and beneficial books. Moreover, it is also fine to listen to beneficial poetry which urges to noble character and good adab. But as for these Anasheed which are listened to in these times, and which are sung in choirs to thereafter be recorded and sold, one should neither listen to them nor care about them (i.e one should ignore them)."

📌Upon the authority of Abut Tufail who said: Ibnil Kawwaa asked Ali [رضي الله عنه] about the *Milky Way* so he replied:
❝It is the ‘Sharaj’ [broad opening to the heavens] and from it Allah sent water down in abundance [i.e during the flood of Nooh].❞

🍁Tests For the Believer (taken 4m salafipublications.com)
---------------------------
🍀HARDSHIPS BENEFIT THE BELIEVER
Allah has decreed that,in this life, hardships & disasters strike both believers & non-believers.For a non-believer,they are inconveniences that hinder him from proceeding with his normal involvment in the wordly life. For a believer, on the other hand, they are instances of rest & rememberance, tests that promise great rewards, and indications of atonment & expiation of sins. Regardless of how little is the harm that strikes a believer, it carries with it good news of forgivness & elevated rank ( in Jannah ).The Righteous Predecessors used to be pleased when a hardship afflicted them, seeing it as a token of Allah's forgivness & benevolence.
-🍀EXPIATION OF SINS
Abu Hurayrah (radiallaahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said:
" Hardships continue to befall a believing man & woman in their body, family,& property, until they meet Allah (S) burdened with no sins. " [ Tirmizi ]
🍀SIGN OF ALLAH'S LOVE
Abu Hurayrah (radiallaahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said:
" Whenever Allah wills good for a person, He subjects him to adversity" [ Bukharee & others ]
🍀SIGN OF EEMAN
Abu Hurayrah (radiallaahu anhu) & Ka'b Bin Maalik (radiallaahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said:
" The parable of a believer is that of a fresh & moist plant; the wind tilts it this way and that way;& so is the believer; he continues to be subject to affliction. And the parable of a hypocrite is that of a firm cedar tree; it does not shake - until it is uprooted all at once." [ Bukhari & Muslim ]
-🍀SIGN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
The prophets & righteous people are afflicted the most,& their rewards are the highest. Sa'd (radiallaahu anhu) reporeted that the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said:
" The most in their suffering among the people are the prophets, then the best, then the (next) best. One is afflicted in accordance with his deen (faith). If his deen is firm his affliction is hard,& if his deen is weak, his affliction is light. Indeed, one would be so much subjected to adversity until he walks among the people without any sins. "[ Ahmad, Tirmizi ]
-🍀EARLY PUNISHMENT
Anas (radiallaahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said:
" When Allah wills good for a servant of His, He expedites his punishment in this life;&when He wills retribution for a servant of His, He holds his sins for Him to judge him by them on the Day of Resurrection. " [ Tirmizi ]
-🍀MULTIPLICATION OF REWARDS
Anas (radiallaahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said:
" The amount of reward is in accordance with the amount of suffering. When Allah (SWT) loves some people, He tries them (with affliction). He who then is content (with Allah's decree) has achieved the acceptance (of Allah),& he who is dissatisfied (with Allah's decree) will attain the anger (of allah)." [ Tirmithee ]
-🍀REWARDS FOR SICKNESS
One should not look to sickness as a gloomy episode, but should remember the great good in it. It is one form of affliction with which Allah (SWT) tests His 'ibaad (servants), giving them a chance to aquire rewards, as was explained above, as is further emphasized below.
-🍀REMOVAL OF SINS AND ELEVATION IN RANKS
Abu Hurayrah (radiallaahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said:
" Whenever a Muslim is afflicted by harm from sickness or other matters, Allah will drop his sins because of that, like a tree drops its leaves." [ Bukhari & Muslim ]
Abu Sa'eed al-Khudree (radiallaahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said:
" A muslim is not afflicted by hardship, sickness, sadness, worry, harm, or depression - even if pricked by a thorn, but Allah expiates his sins because of that. " [ Bukhari & Muslim ]

One of my favorite sayings from the Salaf <3
Al-Hasan Al-Basri [
When asked 'What is Imaan (faith)?':
“It is perseverance (al-sabr) from the things that are forbidden by Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, and acceptance.” He was asked, “What is perseverance and acceptance?” He replied, “Al-sabr is persevere in holding back from what Allaah has forbidden, and (acceptance is) acceptance of what Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, has commanded.”
{Abu Bakr Al-Daynuri, Al-Mujalasah wa Jawahir Al-'Ilm 3:535}

Sheikh Ibn Baaz says:
"The nudity of a woman in her dress is evidence of the anger of Allah upon her. Therefore, when Allah became angry at Adam and Hawwa, he uncovered that which was hidden of their private parts."
.
So the angrier Allah gets with the woman, the more she undresses, whereas the more Allah is pleased with a woman, the more she covers(out of modesty).
.
As Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) says:
"Oh children of Adam. Do not let Satan put you in trouble the way he had your parents expelled from Paradise, having their dress removed from them, so that he could shiw their shame."
[Surat Al-A'raf : 27]
