Sh. Rabī' al-Madkhalī:

“It is NOT mandatory that a Dā'ee says: I'm Salafī!! I'm Salafī!!, rather say: 'This is Kitāb and Sunnah' and then teach people.”

● [شريط بعنوان : جلسة استراحة الصفا]
Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:

“They (true Muslims) are in a state of delight as a result of them holding firmly onto Islam, and when something bad befalls them, then it (only) befalls them due to their sins.”

[Fatawa v. 18, pp. 291-305]
“Whoever has offended you and then approached you to apologize, humility obligates that you accept his apology whether it is truthful or not, and that you leave his secret thoughts to Allah. The sign of generosity and humility is that if you notice a defect in his apology, you do not address it nor hold him against it.”

(Ibnul-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah , Madaarij as-Salikeen (Ranks of the Wayfarers), 2/338).

::: IMPORTANCE OF SPREADING KNOWLEDGE :::

The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "“Convey from me, even if it be an ayah.” (Bukhari, #3461).

Ibn Hajar (rahimahullah) said about this hadith in Fathul Baari, “So that everyone who heard him would hasten to convey whatever he heard of the verses and in this manner, everything that he (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said brought would be conveyed.”

Ibnul Arabi (rahimahullah) said, "It stands proven that a person who hears a verse of the Qur'an or a hadith is bound to convey it to the Ummah." (Ahkam ul Qur'an)

Umar bin Abdul Aziz (rahimahullah) said, "Knowledge does not disappear until it becomes secretive." (Bukhari, 1/115)

He also said, "Spread knowledge and do not sit until all of those who do not know know." (Raafatul Bari, 1/62)

Ibn Abdul Barr (rahimahullah) said, "Hiding knowledge means destruction." (Al Istidhkar, 2/143)

Imam Malik (rahimahullah) said, "Knowledge shall be quickly removed so let anyone who possesses some of it reveal it without exaggeration or neglect." (Al Bidayah wal Nihayah, 9/64)

Al Hakam ibn Utaybah (rahimahullah) said, “Whenever Allah endows a scholar with knowledge, he takes a covenant from him not to conceal it.” (Tarikh ul Dimashq, 55/367)

Ibn Hazm (rahimahullah) said, "My goal in this life is to acquire knowledge and then spread it to all...the great enjoyment and the peak of bliss in this world is to teach and spread knowledge." (Siratu Imamil Zuhri, 101)

Ibn Bāz [رحمه الله] said:

❝It is not permissible to study in mixed institutes where males and females occupy the same facility, school, or seats. This is one of the gravest ways leading to Fitnah. Thus, it is not permissible for a male or female student to place themselves in this situation leading to Fitnah.❞

Seeking knowledge requires sacrifice

al-Khateeb al-Bhagdaadi 463 AH narrates that some of the salaf said,

لا ينال هذا العلم الا من عطل داكانه, و خرب بستانه, و هجر اخوانه, و مات أقرب أهله فلم يشهد جنازته

“No one will attain this knowledge except one who shuts down his store, destroys his garden, abandons his brothers, and (when) his closest of relatives dies he does not witness the janaazah.”

From ar-Rabia’ who said: ‘I heard Shaafi’ee saying:

‘If you find in my book that which opposes the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam, then take the Sunnah and leave that which I said.’

[From: ‘Siyaar ‘Alaam an-Nubala’ 10/34]

Translated by Abbas Abu Yahya
"Salafiyyah" is not something new or invented.

Salafiyyah is following the Qur'an & Sunnah on the understanding of the companions without blindly holding on to any madhab or clinging to personalities.

Salafiyyah is respecting / loving the scholars as a whole but not going overboard in ANY of them.

Salafiyyah is to cling to the narrations and place them over the intellect or analogies.

Salafiyyah is to call the people first and foremost to the worship of Allah, free from partners.

Salafiyyah is to clarify shirk to the people so that they may stay away from it.

Salafiyyah is to warn the people against innovations in the religion because it has already been perfected.

Salafiyyah is to call the people to the sunnah of the messenger (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) - without bending it to fit with one's desires.

Salafiyyah is to be merciful to the people by calling them to that which will benefit them - even though sometimes it may be difficult for them to stomach.

Salafiyyah is understanding that Emaan is belief and action - it rises with obedience and falls with disobedience.

Salafiyyah is to understand that this ummah will be honoured by tawheed and sunnah and will be humiliated due to shirk and innovation.

Salafiyyah is to purify one's soul by being a person of reflection and contemplation.

Salafiyyah is to give everyone their rights - be they parents, wives, children, neighbours or anyone else.

Salafiyyah is to be gentle and kind when required and firm and tough when required.

In short, salafiyyah is Islam. It is the way of the companions and those early generations of Muslims. So when a person ascribes himself to salafiyyah - he is not coming with a new group or religion. Rather he is explaining his methodology and his approach to Islam. There may be those who are trying to monopolise it, but it doesn't belong to them. It doesn't revolve around them. It doesn't need them.

So focus on following those pious predecessors and leave off those who want to hijack salafiyyah for their own material goals."

Narrated ‘Ali (rad):
If the religion were based on opinion, it would be more important to wipe over the under parts of the leather socks than the upper, but I have seen Allah’s Messenger (rad) wiping over the upper parts of his leather socks. [Reported by Abu Da’ud with good Isnad (chain of narrators)].

802. Mu`adh bin Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “Whoever gives up wearing elegant and expensive garments out of humbleness, when he can do so, Allah will call him on the Day of Resurrection and before all the creations, He will give him the choice to wear whichever garment of Iman he would like to wear.”

THE LOVING AND HATING WITH THE HEART

The true believers in Allah and His Messenger do not befriend the disbelievers.

If you really have the right (sound) heart you won't love them. Allah will not make you love them with your heart.

Allah is the One who made you love
Allah is the One who made you hate
Who makes the heart love and hate?

Imagine someone who rejected Allah and His Messenger, doesn't believe in Allah and His Messenger, will Allah direct the heart of a believer to love him?

If your heart is in the Hand of Allah and that person rejected Allah (disbelieved in Allah), do you think Allah will direct your heart to love that person? Impossible! That you find somebody who hold the proper belief in Allah and His Messenger love these people!

You will never find any people who truly believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein (forever). Allah is well pleased with them, and they are well pleased with Him. They are the party of Allah. Verily, the party of Allah will be the successful.
[Qur'ān 58:22]

Allah made you love Imaan and made your heart decorated by it and made you resent hate. So isn't what you love and hate supplementary action of who you are?

The fact that you're falling in love with a polytheist, that means something is wrong with your Imaan.

If you really have the right heart you cannot love them.

Because every love that a believer has in this world is a branch from the love of Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ

Will Allah direct the heart of a believer to love a polytheist, someone who rejects Allah and His Messenger?

His heart is in the Hands of Allah and my heart is in the hands of Allah. If he loves Allah and I love Allah then certainly the hearts will merge.

Its an automatic process.

If you want my heart to fall in love with you why don't you fall in love with Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

===============================

The perfection of TAWHEED is found when there remains nothing in the heart except Allah, the servant is left loving those He loves and what He loves, hating those He hates and what He hates, showing allegiance to those He has allegiance to, showing enmity to those He show enmity towards, ordering what He orders and prohibiting what He prohibits.

The Keys to the Success – Imam Ibnul-Qayyim Rahimahullah

Ibnul-Qayyim al-Jawzeeyah (d.751) -Rahimullaah- said:

Bukhari mentions in his ‘Saheeh’ from Wahab bin Munnabih that it was said to him: ‘Is not ‘La ilaha ‘illa Allaah’ the key to Paradise?’

He said: ‘Of course, however there is no key except that it has teeth, so if a key is brought which has teeth then it will be opened, otherwise it will not open.’

Ibnul-Qayyim Rahimahullah continues:

‘Allaah Subhanahu has placed keys for everything that is necessary, and they open the way, so Allaah made purification the key for prayer, as the Messenger–sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– said:

‘The key to prayer is purification.’ [Saheeh al-Jamia as-Sagheer No.5885] .

Like wise

Ihram is the key to Hajj,

Truthfulness is the key to righteousness,

Tawheed is the key to Paradise,

Asking good questions and being attentive is the key to knowledge,

Patience is the key to victory and triumph,

Gratitude is the key to increase of provision,

Remembrance of Allaah is the key to having loyalty to Allaah and His love,

Taqwa (piety) is the key to success,

Fervent desire and dread of Allaah is the key to being successful,

Dua’ (Supplicating) is the key to being responded to,

Zuhd (Abstaining from the luxuries of the world) is the key to desiring the Hereafter,

Reflecting about that which Allaah calls His slaves to is the key to Eemaan (having faith),

Making the heart accept Islaam and making it secure for Allaah and having sincerity for Him by having love and hate and fulfilling His commands and leaving the prohibitions is the key to going in front of Allaah,

Pondering upon the Qur’aan, and imploring Allaah before dawn and not sinning is the key to giving the heart life,

Being kind to the worshippers of the Creator and striving to benefit His worshippers is the key to obtaining mercy,

Striving to seek forgiveness from Allaah and Taqwa (piety) is the key to Rizq (provisions),

Obedience to Allaah and His Messenger is the key to honour,

Longing for the Hereafter is the key to being prepared for the Hereafter,

Fervent desire for Allaah and the Hereafter is the key to all goodness,

Love for the world, continuously longing for it and turning away from the Hereafter is the key to all evil.

This is a great matter from the most beneficial chapters of knowledge, namely knowing the keys to goodness and evil.’

[Taken from: ‘Haadi al-Arwaaha ila Bilaad al-Afraaha’ by Ibn Qayyim vol 1 p.139]
Anas [رضي اللّٰه عنه] narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:

"Sufficient for you among the women of mankind are Mariam bint 'Imran, Khadijah bint Khuwailid, Fãtimah bint Muhammad and Asiyah the wife of Fir'awn."

Comments: The women mentioned in this narration were the best and superior women of their respective times. Khadijah is superior to all of them in the sense that she supported the Prophet morally and financially. 'Aishah is superior in the field of knowledge and its dissemination. Being the daughter of the Prophet ﷺ, Fatimah is superior.

Earthquake during the time of 'Umar RadiyAllahu 'anhu.
There was an earthquake during the time of 'Umar ibn Al-Khattab and he said: "O people, this earthquake is only because of some sins that you are commiting. By the One Whose hand is my soul, if it happens again I will never stay among you."
[Fara'id al- kalam, (p.140) quoting from ad-Da'wa ad-Dawa' by Ibn al-Qayyim, (p.53.)]
▪️‌‏قال رسول الله ﷺ :

‏إذا ظهر الزنا والربا في قرية فقد أحلُّوا بأنفسهم عذاب الله .

📌‏[ صحيح الجامع (678) ]

(( If Zina (adultery) & riba (usury) become apparent / prominent in a village/place, they have allowed for the themselves the punishment of Allah upon them ))

SubhaanAllah !

Look at these 2 words in Arabic !

الزنا Zina
الربا Riba
only the dots differ ....but the 'adhaab is severe !

There's another narration where it says Riba has so many (around 70 baab) ways / paths...
Embarking the least amongs them is similar to Zina !!

Wallahul musta'an.
“The keys of the unseen are five and none knows them but Allah :

(1) None knows what is in the womb, but Allah:
(2) None knows what will happen tomorrow, but Allah;
(3) None knows when it will rain, but Allah;
(4) None knows where he will die, but Allah (knows that) and
(5) None knows when the Hour will be established, but Allah .”

- Prophet Muhammad (SalAllahu Alayhi Wasallam)
