▪️‌‏قال رسول الله ﷺ :

‏إذا ظهر الزنا والربا في قرية فقد أحلُّوا بأنفسهم عذاب الله .

📌‏[ صحيح الجامع (678) ]

(( If Zina (adultery) & riba (usury) become apparent / prominent in a village/place, they have allowed for the themselves the punishment of Allah upon them ))

SubhaanAllah !

Look at these 2 words in Arabic !

الزنا Zina
الربا Riba
only the dots differ ....but the 'adhaab is severe !

There's another narration where it says Riba has so many (around 70 baab) ways / paths...
Embarking the least amongs them is similar to Zina !!

Wallahul musta'an.
“The keys of the unseen are five and none knows them but Allah :

(1) None knows what is in the womb, but Allah:
(2) None knows what will happen tomorrow, but Allah;
(3) None knows when it will rain, but Allah;
(4) None knows where he will die, but Allah (knows that) and
(5) None knows when the Hour will be established, but Allah .”

- Prophet Muhammad (SalAllahu Alayhi Wasallam)

Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [رحمه الله] said:

The foundations of Good Manners:

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

Shaikh Ibn al-`Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:

All the Good Islaamic values have been gathered in two words. Allaah عز وجل says:

إِنَّ اللَّـهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ

{Verily, Allaah enjoins Al-`Adl and Al-Ihsaan} [Surah al-Nahl (16): 90]

And in his book, Jaami` al-`Uloom wal-Hikam, al-Haafidh Ibn Rajab رحمه الله mentioned:

Imaam Ibn Salaah رحمه الله reported from Abu Muhammad Ibn Abu Zaid - who was the leading Imaam of the Maalikee Jurisprudence of his time - that he said: (The basis for all) the Good Manners and that which opposes it have been gathered in four Ahaadeeth:

1) The saying of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم: ❝He who believes in Allaah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.❞ [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (6018, 6019, 6135, 6136, 6138, 6475, 6476) and Saheeh Muslim (75, 76, 78, 4286)]

2) And the saying of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم: ❝Part of someone's being a good Muslim is his leaving alone that which does not concern him.❞ [Tirmidhee (2317) and Ibn Majah (3976) and Authenticated by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

3) And the advice of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم to the man: ❝Do not get angry.❞ [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (6116)]

4) And the saying of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم: ❝None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself.❞ [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (13) and Saheeh Muslim (72, 73)]

Using such phrases as GOOD/BAD LUCK, LUCKILY/FORTUNATELY or UNLUCKILY/UNFORTUNATELY is HARAM

by The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta'
Bakr Abu Zayd, Salih Al-Fawzan, Abdullah ibn Ghudayyan, Abdul-`Aziz ibn `Abdullah Al Al-Shaykh

The first question of Fatwa no. 21699
Q 1: I want to know the ruling on the following frequently said phrases:
1. Bad luck and good luck.
2. All praise be to Allah, besides Whom no other can be praised for something bad.
3. I seek refuge with Allah from the evil of whoever has evil.
(Part No. 26; Page No. 367)
A: First: It is Haram (prohibited) to use the expressions: (luckily/fortunately) and (unluckily/unfortunately), because they are attributing the occurrence of good or adverse events to luck (fortune), which has no control over anything and is not the cause for good or ill fate. Allah (Exalted be He) says: Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment. If the sayer of this thinks that such fortunes act by themselves, without the intervention of Allah, this is major Shirk (associating others with Allah in His Divinity or worship). However, if they think that everything is subject to Allah’s Decree Alone and they have only verbally said it, then it falls under polytheistic words, which conflicts with the obligation to have perfect Tawhid (belief in the Oneness of Allah). The basic ruling concerning this is the Hadith reported by Muslim in his "Sahih (Book of Authentic Hadith)", that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “There is no ‘Adwa (contagion, disease transmission naturally by itself not by the Decree of Allah), nor is there Hamah (pre-Islamic superstitious belief that the bones of a dead person turn into an owl), nor is there Naw’ (stars bringing rain), nor is there Safar (the month of Safar was believed to bring bad luck during pre-Islamic time).” Also, it was authentically reported in the two Sahih (authentic) Books of Hadith (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) on the authority of Zayd ibn Khalid Al-Juhany (may Allah be pleased with him), who said, “The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) led us in the Subh (Dawn) Prayer at Al-Hudaybiyyah after a rainfall during the night. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) had finished praying, he faced the people and said, ‘Do you know what your Lord has said?’ They replied, ‘Allah and His Messenger know best.’ He said, ‘Some of My slaves have entered the morning as Mu’min (believers) in Me and (others) as Kafirs (disbelievers). Those who said, ‘We had rain by the Bounty of Allah and His Mercy,’ are believers in Me and disbelievers in the stars; and those who said, ‘We had rain by such-and-such a star,’ are disbelievers in Me and believers in the stars.’”
Second: Saying: "All praise be to Allah, besides Whom no other can be praised for something bad," is correct. There is nothing wrong in it.
(Part No. 26; Page No. 368)
Third: Saying: "I seek refuge with Allah from the evil of whoever has evil,'' is correct, as Isti‘adhah (seeking refuge with Allah from Satan) stated in the Qur’an and the Sunnah (whatever is reported from the Prophet) carry that meaning, such as the Saying of Allah (Exalted be He): Say: "I seek refuge with (Allâh), the Lord of the daybreak, "From the evil of what He has created, It was authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) Used to seek refuge with Allah for Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them), saying, “I seek refuge for you two with Allah’s Perfect Words from every devil and poisonous pest, and from every evil (envious) eye.” It was also authentically reported that Jibril (Gabriel, peace be upon him) performed Ruqyah (reciting Qur’an and saying supplications over the sick seeking healing) for the Prophet (peace be upon him) when he was ill. He said, “In the name of Allah I perform Ruqyah for you, from everything that is harming you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye, may Allah heal you, in the name of Allah I perform Ruqyah for you.” It was authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say in Khutbat-ul-Hajah (prelude to a sermon or speech):
“We seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our souls and from the wickedness of our deeds.”
May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
Imaam Ahmad رحمه الله said:

“Do not follow my opinion; neither follow the opinion of Maalik, nor Shaafi’i, nor Awzaa’i, nor Thawri, but take from where they took.”

From Ayoob as-Sahktiaani (d. 131 A.H.) who said:

"Indeed from the happiest of the youth and non-Arabs is whom Allaah guides to a scholar from the people of the Sunnah."

Do not interpret the Qur'an and Hadīth based on your own intellect

Ibn Taymiyyah [رحمه الله] said:

“And whomsoever explains the Qur'an and Hadīth, and interprets them with an interpretation other than the famous explanations of the Companions and their successors, has lied upon Allāh. He is a wretched deviate with regards to his Qur'anic verses. He misrepresents his speech away from its correct places. This opens the doors to hercsy and deviation, and the falsehood of this is known by necessity in Islam.”

Check your circle. Do they fit the denoscription? Check yourself, do YOU fit the denoscription?

Ibn Baaz رحمه الله said:

“A true Muslim brotherhood is one who keeps advising, reminding and directing you to the straight path. He never keeps himself away from you nor flatters you. Rather, he gives you counsel and admonishes you. He reminds you to be mindful of Allah. He shows the path of salvation so that you can follow it and warns you of treading the path of perdition so that you can steer clear of it.”

Repost. Reminder. Beneficial.

"If you see yourself deteriorate, pick yourself up by repenting and seeking Allaah’s forgiveness and by asking Him to keep you firm.

And don’t become careless, and neither say: “In shaa Allaah, my eemaan will become stronger” (without doing anything about it). Instead from right now — from the moment you feel that you are ill — you must implement the cure."

— Shaikh Ibn ‘Uthaymīn, Tafsīr Sūrah an-Nisā (v. 2, p. 53)
RULING ON CELEBRATING BIRTHDAYS, MOTHER'S DAY & FATHER'S DAY.

This is a Munkar (that which is unacceptable or disapproved of by Islamic law and Muslims of sound intellect) to celebrate one's birthday, or the birthday of one's mother, daughter, or son.

This is an innovation in religion, as it is like the practice of the Christians and the Jews. These practices including mother's day, father's day, uncle's day, one's birthday, or birthdays of daughters, and sons are all Bid`ahs that have no legal foundation or declaration in the Shari`ah (Islamic law) to support.

They bear a likeness to the enemies of Allah and it is impermissible to do them. Rather, it is a must to close this door and beware of these Bid`ahs.

Imaam Bukhaari (rahimahullaah) said: ”Chapter: The one who does not care from where he earns his money.”

Narrated Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu-anhu): The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: A time will come upon the people when one will not care how one gains one’s money, legally or illegally.” [1]

Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said: ”Meaning: Eemaan (of the people) will be weak and there will be little fear (of Allaah)—at a time in which there will ignorance, and there will (also) be weakness in the affairs of the religion. This (is the case) in our era and in other eras before it. [2]

The Ways of Maintaining Knowledge – Shaykh Muhammad Bazmool | AbdurRahman.Org
https://abdurrahman.org/2014/09/30/the-ways-of-maintaining-knowledge-shaykh-muhammad-bazmool/
Forwarded from SALAAF AS SAALIH
Shaykh Aḥmad Bazmūl states:

'This is how important this is, this knowledge is dīn, something that he will be raised with on the day of judgment...the Muslim must look and take his dīn from Ahl al-Sunnah, al-Salafīyyūn, known for knowledge, being upright and having taqwá'

'Imām Mālik said it is not enough for someone to be a worshipper, and to be known for Zuhd, outward expression of worship, that you take from them...but they did not take from them because that was not their affair (knowledge), they were worshippers that's all. In this time we see someone who has a lihyah (beard), his thobe above his ankles and he is then the muftī of his area, this is a mistake!'

'It is forbidden for the one who is asked and doesn't know, to answer. Likewise it is ḥarām for the one to ask one who doesn't know...he has to ask the scholar...if you had a medical situation, would we go to a mechanic? And if we had a problem with our car, would we go to a farmer...no we would go to each individual who is a specialist in their field...so when it comes to the issue of dīn, we must go to the scholars, it is not right to ask (just) anybody or do what everyone else is doing.'

Abū Dardāʾ went to the masjid one day (in the time of the tabiʿīn) and he observed the people praying differently than according to the Sunnah, so he came home angry and his wife (Ummu al-Dardāʾ) asked him what has made you angry? He said, 'By Allāh I don't see anything from the time of the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) except praying together (meaning that they had abandoned much of the Sunnah). This is his statement whilst he was close to the time of the Messenger (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). So what about now? 1400 years after that, are general masses upon Sunnah? Are the general masses upon knowledge? No! Rather we should follow the scholars!'
