Yahyā bin Mu’āth ar-Rāzī (رحمه الله) said:

“The scholars are more merciful to the nation of Muhammad (ﷺ) than their own fathers and mothers.”

It was said to him:

“How is that?”

He said:

“Because their fathers and mothers protect them from the fire of this world whereas the scholars protect them from the Fire of the Hereafter.”

[Mukhtasar Nasīhah Ahl al-Hadīth (no. 167) via Lam ad-Durar al-Manthoor of Jamāl al-Hārithī (p. 68)]

Translated by Abū Ruqayyah ‘Abd us-Samad
In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy

Shaykh ʿAbd al-Salām ibn Burjiss(raḥimahullāh) mentioned: O students! If you really want knowledge [directly] from its source, then there are the senior scholars whose beards have become grey, bodies have become weak, and their strength has dried up in (seeking) knowledge and teaching. Stick to them before you lose them, and benefit from their treasures before it disappears with them, for indeed the full moon is missed on a dark night.

From The Evil Consequences of Silence In The Presence of the Falsifiers’ by Ibn Aqeel
http://salaficentre.com/2016/01/from-the-evil-consequences-of-silence-in-the-presence-of-the-falsifiers-by-ibn-aqeel/

He (rahimahullaah) said: ‘’If the truthful ones were to keep silent and the falsifiers speak, then the creation would have relinquished what they have witnessed (of truth) and reject what they have not witnessed.  So when the devout ones desire to revive the Sunnah, the people would reject it and think that it is bidah.’’ ————————————————————————————– [Shifaa As-Sudoor Fee Ziyaaratil Mashaahid Wal-Quboor page: 148]
Some of the signs that a person has been put to trials are:

1) When he shaves or trims his beard after having it grow longer.
2) When he does what he used to warn against.
3) When he aligns, upon misguidance, with the same people he used to warn against.
4) When he abandons his night prayers.
5) When he completely abandons the Salaah.
6) When he abandons his religion.
7) When a sister abandons her Hijaab.
8) When he allows mix gathering.
9) When he lies about Allaah and His religion.
10) When he attributes a lie to the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم.
11) When he speaks without knowledge.
12) When he interferes in the matters which do not concern him.
13) When he does not accept the truth out of pride.
14) When he sees the truth, but still clings to the falsehood.
And list goes on…

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Whoever comes across a person suffering a calamity and says (silently):

الحمد لله الذي عافاني مما ابتلاك به ، وفضلني على كثير ممن خلق تفضيلا

(Alhamdulillaahi-ladhee `aafaanee mimmaa ibtalaaka bih, wa fadh-dhalanee `alaa katheerim mimman khalaqa tafdheelaa)

‘All praise is for Allah Who saved me from that which He tested you with and Who most certainly favored me over much of His creation.’

He will be kept safe from that calamity”

[Sunan al-Tirmidhee (3431, 3432) on the authority of Abu Hurairah and `Umar رضي الله عنهما, and graded as “Hasan li ghairihee” by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Saheehah (602)]
👤The Noble Scholar Fadheelat-u-Shaykh Saleh ibn Fawzaan al Fawzaan حفظه الله :

Not everyone who claims to be Salafi is truly Salafi. Some individuals have made this claim but they are ignorant and they don’t know the Salafi Minhaj. Some individuals have made this claim but they have actually adopted the methodology of the Khawarij, and this is displayed in their spilling of blood and causing mischief throughout the earth. Others have made this claim but they are self-taught and they have not taken knowledge from the scholars, but rather, they have taken it from books and that which they have read. They depend on their memorization of texts without (true) understanding.

🔮THE COMMAND FOR PATIENCE & RIBAT 🔮

📖Allah said,
"O you who believe! Endure and be more PATIENT, & RABITU" [Surah Al-Imran(3):200 ]

Al-Hasan Al -Basri, " The believers are commanded to be patient in he religion that Allah chose for them, Islam. They are not allowed to abandon in times of comfort or hardship, ease or calamity, until they die as Muslims. They are also commanded to endure against their enemies, those who hid the truth about their religion.
(At-Tabari 7:502 )

📌Abu Hurayrah (ra ) narrated that prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him )said.,
" Should I tell you about actions with which Allah forgives sins & raises the grade?
Performing perfect ablution in unfavourable conditions,
The many steps one takes to the Masjid, and
Awaiting prayers after the prayer, for this is the Ribat, this is the Ribat, this is the Ribat ."
[Muslim 1:219, An -Nasai 1:89 ]

📌As -Saidi (ra ) said that the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him ) said,
" A day of Ribat in the cause of Allah is better than this life and all that is in it. "
[Al-Bukhari 2892 ]

📌Salman Al -Farisi said that the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him ) said,
" Ribat for a day & night is better than fasting the day of a month and it's Qiyam (Tahajjud ) . If one dies in Ribat, his regular righteous deeds that he used to perform will keep being added to his account, and he will receive his provision, and will be saved from the trial of the grave."
[Muslim 1913 ]

📌Fadalah bin Ubayd (ra ) said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him )saying,
"Every dead person will have his records of deeds sealed, except for whoever dies while in Ribat in the cause of Allah, for his work will keep increasing until the Day of Resurrection, and he will be safe from the trial of the Grave. "
[Ahmed 6:20 ]

📌Ibn Abbas (ra ) said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him ) saying,
" Two eyes shall not be touched by the Fire : an eye that cried for fear from Allah and an eye that spent the night guarding in Allah's cause. "
[Tirmizi 1639 ]

And there is no goodness in people who don’t like to be advised.”

It is reported that Abû Bakr Al-Matû’î said:

I sat in the circle of Abû ‘Abdillâh Ahmad b. Hanbal for twelve years while he read the Musnad to his children, and I never wrote a single hadîth, I only looked at his behavior, character and etiquette.

A Neglected Sunnan – Two Rakats after Asr

Al-Albani (may Allah rest him in Firdous) said,” This is a prayer which is forgotten and should be revived.”[ Saheehah hadeeth hadeeth 3174]

1.Âisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: “There are two prayers that the messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never neglected to pray in my house secretly or publicly: Two Rak’ah before Fajr and two Rak’ah after Asr.” [Bukhari 592]

2. Âisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Anytime Allah’s messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) came to my house after Asr he prayed two Rak’ah [Bukhari 593 ]

The scholars’ analysis about these two Rak’ah:

Imam At-Tahawee (may Allah have mercy on him) said, “Some people see no harm in praying two Rak’ah after Asr and consider them a Sunnah.” [Sharh Ma’anee Al-Athar 1-301]
Imam Ibn Hazm (may Allah have mercy on him) said,” …Third: If this hadeeth is authentic it’s a proof for us. This hadeeth tells us that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed two rak’ah after Asr. On the contrary if it wasn’t allowed or disliked, Allah’s messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) wouldn’t have prayed these two rak’ah. His actions are guidance and correct, regardless whether he does it once or a thousand times.” [ Al-Muhalla]

Ibn Hajr (may Allah have mercy on him) said, “ To cling to these narrations establish the permissibility to offer a supererogatory prayer after Asr in any respect as long as it isn’t intended to be done during sunset.” [ Fath 2/85 ]

Shaykh Nasirud deen Al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on him) said,” Among the accepted errors in the books of Fiqh is the prohibition of these two rak’ah and not mentioning them among the supererogatory exercises of devotion.

Nevertheless, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) preserved these two Rak’ah the same way he preserved the two before Fajr. There isn’t any evidence for the two Rak’ah after Asr’s abrogation or their being special for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) only! How could it be, when Âisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the most knowledgeable person about these two rakah’ safeguarded them as well as other companions and pious Salaf.[ Silsilatus Saheehah 7/528]

Shaykh Muhammad Adam El-Ethiopee (may Allah preserve him) said,” The more acceptable position is that it is permissible to pray after Asr as long as the sun is pure white. The ruling for this action is based on an authentic hadeeth, the actions of the companions, and tabee’oon… [Thakheerahtul ‘Uqba fee Sharh Al-Mujtabah 7/202]

Shaykh Ubayd Al-Jaabiree (may Allah preserve him) said, “There are a large number of people who don’t know that Asr has a Sunnah. It is recommended to pray two rak’ah after Asr. Many people today are unaware of this act therefore it causes some confusion. We have emphasized on more than one occasion that if a Muslim combines Thur and Asr he doesn’t offer a sunnah prayer between them. Because doing so contradicts the act of joining. However when he finishes Asr he can pray two rak’ah if he wishes; since the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do so as collected by Imam Muslim.

It’s a must to know that many Muslims not only in contemporary times but past centuries as well neglected these two rak’ah as being Sunnah. Âisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Anytime Allah’s messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) came to my house after Asr he prayed two Rak’ah.”The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray two rak’ah before Thur .One day he was to occupied to offer them at that time, hence he prayed them after Asr and continued this act. The fact that he continued to pray these two Rak’ah after Asr makes it a Sunnah. He didn’t just pray them once. We are not prohibited from pray
ing these two rak’ah. [www.Sahab.net]

How a woman can give Dawah (not to men ).
A man said to Hasan al-Basri: “Indeed, someone has back bitten you."

Hasan sent a dish of sweet dates to the backbiter and he said:
