A Magnificent Ḥadeeth | Never Compromise On 'Ibādah Of Allāh For Work And He Will Enrich You

The Messenger of Allāh Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam said: “Your Lord Tabārak Wa Ta'ālā says:

'O son of Ādam !! Set aside time for my worship, I will fill your heart with richness/contentment and fill your hands with provision, O son of Ādam !! Do not distance yourself from me or I will fill your heart with poverty and fill your hands with (unnecessary) work'.”

IBLIS

Iblis makes those seeking righteousness feel lazy, and he causes those who are serious to procrastinate. He convinces a jurist to rest instead of going over his lesson again. And convinces a worshipper who had woken up to pray at night that he still has a lot of time. Iblis tries to make people lazy procrastinators, and to make them have hope (of a long life). A disciplined person must take advantage of time, and never procrastinate. That which is feared can never be trusted, and that which passes can never be brought back again. The main reason for doing less good and more evil is relying on the hope of a long life, this is because a person continues to procrastinate performing good deeds and refraining from evil deeds.

(O Allah, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being over powered by men.)
It was said to Ibn Mubaarak:

“What’s the best thing given to a man he said: “Deep intellect [that coincides with the book and the Sunnah]”

It was said: “and if he is not given that?” He said: “Good manners”

It was said: “and if he is not given that?” He said: “A righteous friend that advises him”

It was said: “and if he is not given that?” He said: “To remain silent for a long time”

It was said: “and if he is not given that?” He said: “Immediate death”

#Earthquake
Ibn al-Qayyim said:
“Allah sometimes gives the earth permission to
breathe, which is when major earthquakes
happen;
- this makes people feel scared,
- so they repent,
- give up sins,
- pray to Allah and feel regret [for their sins].
When there had been an earthquake, some of
the Salaf said: your Lord is warning you.
When Medeenah was struck by an earthquake,
‘Umar Ibn al-Khattaab addressed the people
and said:
If there is another earthquake, I will not stay
here with you.”
[“Miftah Dar al-Sa’ada”, 1/221]
The Imām, Shaykh ʿAbd al Azīz ibn Bāz [رحمه الله] said:

❝So your brother is the one who advises you, reminds you, and alerts you. Your brother is not the one who gives you no thought, avoids you, or speaks to you with pretty words that lack real truth and sincerity. Rather, your brother, in reality, is the one who advises you, the one who admonishes you, and reminds you. He calls you to Allāh, keeps explaining to you the path to deliverance clearly until you follow it, and warns you about the path to destruction - he keeps explaining to you how evil its end is until you avoid it.❞

"Men mixing with women is like fire mixing with wood."

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah
[al-Istiqaamah, 1/361]
It is reported that ‘Abdullāh b. Mas’ūd – Allāh be pleased with him – said:

“This world (the dunyā) is [only taken as] a home by those who will have no real home [in Jannah],

and it is the wealth of those who will have no real wealth,

and it is gathered and collected for by those who have no real intelligence.”

— Ibn Abī Al-Dunyā, Dhamm Al-Dunyā article 16.
MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS

Dr Murtaza bin Bakhsh hafizahullaah:

Often we here these words in society. ‘Mind your business! They advise: ‘Mind your business!’ I am minding my own business. With Allah’s permission, I am advising you. What type of bad deed am I doing? People say, and they are ignorant (unfortunately), wearing a tie, suited and booted, looking very smart. You advise them: Brother, pray the salaah, (they say): ‘Mind your business!’

I will mind my own business, that isn’t a problem! If death overtakes you in this state, then what are you going to do?! No. this is the truth! I have done my job, informed you, told you once. I have made my request: ‘The prayer has been established; the Masjid is straight ahead of us, close by.’ They look at you, staring in an angry manner: “Mind your busmess.”

OK. I‘ll mind my business! I’ve done my job. What are you going to do? Whilst going about your business you have an accident. the Angel of Death will not give you a little more time. By Allah! He won’t give you two minutes. so you can establish the prayer, after which he can take my soul. No! So then, what are you going to do?

PRESERVE YOUR SALAH, TONGUE AND HEART—AN ADVICE FROM THE MESSENGER (SALLAL-LAAHU-ALAYHI-WASALLAM)

A man came to the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) and said: ”Admonish me and be brief’”; so the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said to him:

إِذَا قُمْتَ فِي صَلَاتِكَ فَصَلِّ صَلَاةَ مُوَدِّعٍ

”When you stand for your prayer, then pray a farewell prayer (i.e. as if it is your last Salah before death).”

”Do not speak with a statement for which you may have to apologize tomorrow.”

”And forgo what is in the hands of the people (i.e. do not be desperate for the worldly possessions of the people9).”

"Ar-riyaa (showing off )

Narrated jundub: the prophet ( sallahu alayhi WA salam ) said : " he who let the people hear of his good deeds intentionally, to win there praise, Allah will let the people know his real intention (on the day of judgment ), and he who does good things in public to show off and win there praise of the people, ALLAH will disclose his real intention (and humiliate him)"

Upon the authority of Al Hasan al Basri [رحمه الله] who said:

❝He who is plenty in wealth is plenty in sin [i.e. usually], and he whos speech is plentiful, lies plentifully and he whose character is bad [only] punishes himself!❞

The shayateen want you to fill yourselves!

Imam ash-Shafi’ee (rahimahullaah) said:
“I have not been full (completely filled my stomach) for 16 years because fullness results in laziness, witlessness, and sleepiness. In addition, it weakens one’s ability to worship.”
[Hilyatul-Awliyaa (9/127)]
Great advice!

Wahb Ibn Munabbih said:

"A scholar once asked another greater than him in knowledge, “How much should I build?” He replied “As much as shelters you from the sun and the rain.” He asked “How much food should I eat?” He replied “More than what keeps you hungry and less than what makes you full.”

He asked “How much should I wear?” He replied “As the Messiah (Isa) did.” He asked “How much should I laugh?” He replied “As much as appears on your face but does not make audible your voice.”

He asked “How much should I cry? ”He replied, “Never tire from crying out of the fear of Allah.” He asked “How much should I hide my deeds?” He replied “Until people think you had not done a good deed.”

He asked “How much should I make public my deeds?” He replied “As much as will let the keen follow your example but not have the people talk about you. ”

Wahb said. “Everything has two ends and a middle. If you grab one end, the other will slant, but if you take the middle, both ends will balance. Stick to the balanced middle in all affairs.”

[Abu Nu’aym, Hilyatu Al-Awliya` 4:45]
SATAN HATES THE GOOD RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUSBAND AND WIFE- IMAAM IBNUL QAYYIM

Narrated Jabir (radiyallaahu-anhu) that Allaah’s Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: Iblis places his throne upon water; he then sends detachments (for creating dissension); the nearer to him in rank are those who are most notorious in creating dissension. One of them comes and says: I did so and so. And he says: You have done nothing. Then one amongst them comes and says: I did not spare so and so until I sowed the seed of discord between a husband and a wife. The Satan goes near him and says: ‘You have done well. A’mash said: He then embraces him. [Saheeh Muslim. Number:2813]

And due to the fact that this bond (between husband and wife) is from the most beloved affairs to Allaah and His Messenger, it is from the most hated affairs to the enemy of Allaah (i.e. shaytaan). Therefore he hastens to split two people who love another for the sake of Allaah.

before seeking to sit in a gathering, have you asked yourself:

- Is this person known to the scholars or their students?
- Does he have tazkiyāt of any sort?
- Who are his companions (from whom does he sit with)?
- Does he frequent the gatherings of Ahl al-Sunnah, their masājid, seminars, lectures etc.?
- What do the people of Sunnah and Salafīyyah in his area say about him?
- Does he cooperate with Ahl al-Bidʿah,, their masājid and programmes (is he here, there and everywhere)?

Do you put up these roadblocks in your mind before setting out to seek knowledge with a man?
Seeing that it is from the most important affairs you could ever set out upon...your salvation, your ʿaqīdah, your path towards Paradise in shāʾ Allāh

THE MOST DIFFICULT 3 DAYS UPON MANKIND...

Sufyan Ibn 'Uyainah said: the most loneliest time that the son of Adam will be in is 3 situations:

➊ يومَ وُلِدَ فيخرجُ إلى دارِ هَمٍّ .

1. The day he is born and comes to the abode of stress and anxiety (i.e. The world)

2. The night he will sleep with the deceased, so he will live beside neighbors he has never seen the likes of (i.e. The grave)

3. The day he will be raised up (from the dead) and he will witness the likes of that which he never witnessed before (i.e. The Day of Judgement)

Allāh the Most High said to Yahya regarding these 3 situations:

"May peace and safety be upon him, the day he is born, the day he dies and the day he will be brought back to life" Maryam:15
