It is reported that ‘Abdullāh b. Mas’ūd – Allāh be pleased with him – said:
“This world (the dunyā) is [only taken as] a home by those who will have no real home [in Jannah],
and it is the wealth of those who will have no real wealth,
and it is gathered and collected for by those who have no real intelligence.”
— Ibn Abī Al-Dunyā, Dhamm Al-Dunyā article 16.

MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS
Dr Murtaza bin Bakhsh hafizahullaah:
Often we here these words in society. ‘Mind your business! They advise: ‘Mind your business!’ I am minding my own business. With Allah’s permission, I am advising you. What type of bad deed am I doing? People say, and they are ignorant (unfortunately), wearing a tie, suited and booted, looking very smart. You advise them: Brother, pray the salaah, (they say): ‘Mind your business!’
I will mind my own business, that isn’t a problem! If death overtakes you in this state, then what are you going to do?! No. this is the truth! I have done my job, informed you, told you once. I have made my request: ‘The prayer has been established; the Masjid is straight ahead of us, close by.’ They look at you, staring in an angry manner: “Mind your busmess.”
OK. I‘ll mind my business! I’ve done my job. What are you going to do? Whilst going about your business you have an accident. the Angel of Death will not give you a little more time. By Allah! He won’t give you two minutes. so you can establish the prayer, after which he can take my soul. No! So then, what are you going to do?

PRESERVE YOUR SALAH, TONGUE AND HEART—AN ADVICE FROM THE MESSENGER (SALLAL-LAAHU-ALAYHI-WASALLAM)
A man came to the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) and said: ”Admonish me and be brief’”; so the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said to him:
إِذَا قُمْتَ فِي صَلَاتِكَ فَصَلِّ صَلَاةَ مُوَدِّعٍ

وَلَا تَكَلَّمْ بِكَلَامٍ تَعْتَذِرُ مِنْهُ غَدًا

Two wolves roaming freely among sheep are less destructive to them than the desire for wealth and fame is to a person’s religion.

Great advice!
Wahb Ibn Munabbih said:
"A scholar once asked another greater than him in knowledge, “How much should I build?” He replied “As much as shelters you from the sun and the rain.” He asked “How much food should I eat?” He replied “More than what keeps you hungry and less than what makes you full.”
He asked “How much should I wear?” He replied “As the Messiah (Isa) did.” He asked “How much should I laugh?” He replied “As much as appears on your face but does not make audible your voice.”
He asked “How much should I cry? ”He replied, “Never tire from crying out of the fear of Allah.” He asked “How much should I hide my deeds?” He replied “Until people think you had not done a good deed.”
He asked “How much should I make public my deeds?” He replied “As much as will let the keen follow your example but not have the people talk about you. ”
Wahb said. “Everything has two ends and a middle. If you grab one end, the other will slant, but if you take the middle, both ends will balance. Stick to the balanced middle in all affairs.”

SATAN HATES THE GOOD RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUSBAND AND WIFE- IMAAM IBNUL QAYYIM
Narrated Jabir (radiyallaahu-anhu) that Allaah’s Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: Iblis places his throne upon water; he then sends detachments (for creating dissension); the nearer to him in rank are those who are most notorious in creating dissension. One of them comes and says: I did so and so. And he says: You have done nothing. Then one amongst them comes and says: I did not spare so and so until I sowed the seed of discord between a husband and a wife. The Satan goes near him and says: ‘You have done well. A’mash said: He then embraces him. [Saheeh Muslim. Number:2813]
And due to the fact that this bond (between husband and wife) is from the most beloved affairs to Allaah and His Messenger, it is from the most hated affairs to the enemy of Allaah (i.e. shaytaan). Therefore he hastens to split two people who love another for the sake of Allaah.

before seeking to sit in a gathering, have you asked yourself:
- Is this person known to the scholars or their students?
- Does he have tazkiyāt of any sort?
- Who are his companions (from whom does he sit with)?
- Does he frequent the gatherings of Ahl al-Sunnah, their masājid, seminars, lectures etc.?
- What do the people of Sunnah and Salafīyyah in his area say about him?
- Does he cooperate with Ahl al-Bidʿah,, their masājid and programmes (is he here, there and everywhere)?
Do you put up these roadblocks in your mind before setting out to seek knowledge with a man?
Seeing that it is from the most important affairs you could ever set out upon...your salvation, your ʿaqīdah, your path towards Paradise in shāʾ Allāh

THE MOST DIFFICULT 3 DAYS UPON MANKIND...
|[ أصعبُ ثلاثة أيَّام على الإنسان ]|
قال سفيانُ بن عُيينة - رحمه اللهُ -:
"أوحَشُ ما يكونُ ابنُ آدمَ في ثلاثة مواطن:
Sufyan Ibn 'Uyainah said: the most loneliest time that the son of Adam will be in is 3 situations:
➊ يومَ وُلِدَ فيخرجُ إلى دارِ هَمٍّ .
1. The day he is born and comes to the abode of stress and anxiety (i.e. The world)
➋ وليلةَ يبيتُ مع الموتى فيُجاورُ
جيرانًا لم يَرَ مثلَهم .
2. The night he will sleep with the deceased, so he will live beside neighbors he has never seen the likes of (i.e. The grave)
➌ ويومَ يُبعثُ فيَشهدُ مشهدًا لم يَرَ مثله !!
3. The day he will be raised up (from the dead) and he will witness the likes of that which he never witnessed before (i.e. The Day of Judgement)

So what does a woman desire, whether it is her worldly affairs or her Hereafter, when she displays herself, when she reveals her beauty, when she intermingles with men, and when she purposely tries to put them to trial and get their attention.
What good does she desire with these types of actions, and what type of virtue does she hope for?! Certainly, it is, by Allah a tremendous loss, major evil, and widespread trial.
As for the intelligent woman, for indeed, she is far removed from these type of actions, fearful of Allah - the Lord of the creation the owner of majesty and completeness - diligent in the obedience of her Lord and attaining His pleasure.
• A Piece of Advice & Admonition for the Women by Shaykh 'Abd al-Razzaq Ibn 'Abd al-Muhsin al-Abbad.

Ilm4all:
May Allaah make the enemies of Islaam perish for their intended attack on Makkah. The Houthis are attacking Makkah like their forefathers (the Shia/Raafidhah) did in the year 317 Hijree. THEY ARE ATTACKING THE SACRED PLACE OF ALLAAH – MAKKAH (in which fighting is prohibited), IN THE SACRED MONTH OF ALLAAH – AL-MUHARRAM (in which fighting is prohibited)!
The army of Abu Taahir al-Qurmutee attacked Makkah on 8th of Dhul Hijjah, and spilt the blood of thousands and thousands of Hujjaaj (pilgrims), as well as the people of Makkah, and took thousands of women captive. He was the criminal who took away the Black Stone and plundered the wealth of the Muslims. May the curse of Allaah be upon them, and those who follow their path, and their allies till the Day of Judgment!
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝No doubt, Allaah has made this place (Makkah) a sanctuary since the creation of the heavens and the earth and will remain a sanctuary till the Day of Resurrection as Allaah has ordained its sanctity. Fighting was not permissible in it for anyone before me, and even for me it was allowed only for a portion of a day. So, it is a sanctuary with Allaah's sanctity till the Day of Resurrection.❞

A Real Eye-Opener: Upset with the Qadr of Allaah!?
Most people entertain bad thoughts about Allaah regarding their own personal situations and the situations of others. The only ones who remain safe from this are those who truly know Allaah, His Names, His Attributes, and what His Wisdom and Right to be praised really entails.
So let every sincere, sound-minded individual focus on himself regarding this, and then repent to Allaah and seek His Forgiveness from the negative notions he entertains about his Lord.
Look closely at anyone! You will find that people become upset with Qadr and blame things on it, saying that, “It should have been this way or that way…”
Some people behave this way only rarely, others more commonly!
Inspect yourself – Are you innocent!?
If you are saved from it, you are safe from something terrible…But really, I doubt you are even safe! -Ibn al-Qayyim
This is a passage from the great writings of al-’Allaamah Ibn Qayyim al-Jowziyyah, as quoted in the book, Kitaab at-Towheed, by Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Abdil-Wahhaab.
This passage was an explanation of some Qur’aanic verses exposing the notions and ill assumptions of the hypocrites after the defeat suffered at the Battle of Uhud. It is absolutely amazing how this great scholar tied the filthy beliefs of the hypocrites to our own hearts and actions, and guided us to take a an important personal lesson from the hidden enemies of Islaam and their false notions about the Wisdom of Allaah and His Qadr.
From the attributes of the hypocrites is that they do not submit to the Qadr of Allaah, instead they find fault with it, and claim that things would have been better had they been in charge of the affair!
Review Soorah Aal ‘Imraan (3:154).
Ibn al-Qayyim said, “Inspect yourself – Are you innocent?!”
I remind myself and my brothers and sisters in Islaam to sincerely think about the following statements and ponder over how distant we are from them in reality:
*“That’s just great! This is why I hate Mondays!”
*“What is wrong with this laptop? Another virus!! And of course this would happen NOW, when I have all this important work to finish!!”
*“The car seems to break down every time I’m running late!”
*“My stupid cellphone keeps shutting down…!”
*“Oh great! One more red light! As if I’m not late enough!”
*“I stoved my toe on that stupid table!”
These small everyday trials we face and the emotions we react with are all part of our personal test. Our reactions, beliefs, and statements are all being recorded!
With the above mentioned complaints and reactions, who are we actually displeased with? We know that the table didn’t do anything to our toe, right? We know that cars, cellphones, and laptops don’t actually choose to do things to harm us in reality, right?
So then, again – WHO or WHAT are we really displeased with when uttering these kinds of statements?
We desperately need our spouses, friends, and companions to remind us, quite simply, with the following question:
Are you unhappy with the Qadr of Allaah?
Let us replace the bad reactions mentioned with the very best guidance available, the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam):
وإن أصابك شيء فلا تقل لو أني فعلت كذا لكان كذا وكذا لكن قل قدر الله وما شاء فعل…
“…And if something (bad) befalls you, do not say, ‘Had I only done such-and-such, then such-and-such would have happened, rather say: Qadrullaahi, wa maa shaa’ fa’ala (This is from the Qadr of Allaah, and He does whatever He wills).” [Muslim]
Let us affirm everything we face as the Qadr of Allaah, submit to Allaah being pleased with the trial He (and no one else) has chosen for us, and be afraid of a bad reaction that would be written against us and handed to us on the Day of Account.
And Allaah knows best.
