Story of the guest of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
A man came to the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) and said; “I am hard pressed by hunger.” He (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) sent a word to one of his wives who replied: “By Him Who has sent you with the Truth, I have nothing except water.” Then he sent the same message to another (wife) and received the same reply. He sent this message to all of them (i.e., his wives) and received the same reply. Then he (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “Who will entertain this (man) as guest?” One of the Ansar said: “O Messenger of Allah, I will.” So he took him home and said to his wife: “Serve the guest of Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam).”
Another narration is: The Ansari asked his wife: “Have you got anything?” She answered: “Nothing, except a little food for the children.” He said: “Keep them busy with something, and when they ask for food put them to sleep. When the guest enters, extinguish the light and give him the impression that we are also eating.” So they sat down and the guest ate and they passed the night hungry. When he came to the Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) in the morning, he said to him, “Allah admired what you did with your guest last night.”
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Allah, the Exalted, says:
“And give them (Emigrants) preference over themselves, even though they were in need of that.”(59:9)
“And they give food, in spite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to the poor, the orphan, and the captive.” (76:8)

Shaykh ul-Islaam ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Bāz (rahimahullah) said: "The encyclopedic scholar Ibn Al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said in his book 'Ighathat Al-Lahfan Min Masa'd Al-Shaitan':
‘Whistling, clapping of hands, singing, and music are among the stratagems and plots that Satan uses to allure those who have little religious knowledge and reason. Indeed, he deluded thereby the ignorant and liars. Thus, he diverts people from listening to the Qur'an and gets them involved in deviance and sins. Satan uses singing to make people abandon the Qur'an and be vulnerable to committing sins of homosexuality and Zina [sexual intercourse outside marriage]. It is the way for seduction and temptation, as Satan beautifies it in the eyes of the ignorant and makes them inclined to hear it more and more. Their hearts are spoiled and thus they become heedless of the Qur’ān. Indeed, the poet puts it in good verses when saying:
'The Qur’ān is recited and they listened not submissively but inattentively and heedlessly. And when singing began, like donkeys they danced for their own pleasure. Indulged in sounds of tambourine, pipe, and loud rhymes. Thus absolutely unable to observe devotion. They felt burdened with the Qur’ān due to its commands and prohibitions. Its Ayahs seem to them as thunder, for they bear threat for the disobedient. They saw the Qur’ān as a barrier to their lustful desires, what loss for them! But singing gratifies their wicked selves, thus, it becomes highly elevated. What benefit will they attain. Alas, if those heedless and ignorant will just know. If singing is not the intoxicant of bodies, surely, it is of minds. Look to the intoxicated after drinking and look to the jubilant person after listening to music. Look how they tear their clothes inattentively after they ripped their headless hearts from Iman. Now say, what intoxicant more deserving of prohibition and punishment from Allaah.'
Another said:
'We excused ourselves before Allaah from people who are sick with singing and music. Many a time I said: O people, you are about to fall into a grievous abyss; unfathomable and deep, leading to the abode of the great hardship. Many a time we advised them to excuse ourselves before Allaah. But when they mocked our warnings, we left our affairs to Allaah. Thus, we adopted the exemplary behavior of the Prophet while they lived their life to death indulged in tones and melodies.'
The advocates of Islaam and the guided-Imaams through ages warned and still warn against following the path and the behavior of those people from all sects.’ End of Quote."

Everything is being made Halaal in the pretext of difference of opinion - allowing homosexuality, music and singing, birthday celebration, wishing the Kuffaar during their pagan festivals, trimming the beard, Isbaal (letting the garments to hang below the ankles), tight Hijaab and much more. Every aspect of the religion is being watered down by merely saying that there is difference of opinion.

Anyone who has read this book, and read the many points which Shaikh Ibn al-Uthaymeen رحمه الله has mentioned about the dangers of residing with the Kuffaar will never be able to oppose them - except for the one who follows his desires. We see with our own very eyes how Islaam is being watered down by many in the West. Only those are protected whom Allaah has given shelter, and they are very few.Everything is being made Halaal in the pretext of difference of opinion - allowing homosexuality, music and singing, birthday celebration, wishing the Kuffaar during their pagan festivals, trimming the beard, Isbaal (letting the garments to hang below the ankles), tight Hijaab and much more. "Do not learn knowledge for three reasons: to amaze and confound the foolish, to argue with the learned and to make people's faces turn towards you. Rather, seek what is with Allaah with your hearts and actions, since only that will remain and whatever is besides it will go."

Righteous Fear vs. Sinful Delusion
It is reported that Al-Hasan Al-Basrî – Allâh have mercy on him – said:
The believer does the best deeds yet is most fearful [that his deeds will not be accepted]. If he were to spend a mountain of wealth [in charity], he would not feel sure [of the reward] until he sees it. The more righteous and pious he becomes, the more he fears. But the hypocrite (munâfiq) says, ‘There are so many people, I will be forgiven, no problem.’ So he does wrong and evil deeds, yet holds foolish wishes about Allâh.
