The Difference between Contentment and Patience.
• Being patient involves restraining the self and preventing it from giving in to resentment, in spite of any suffering that it experiences, in the hope that the misfortune which afflicts it will come to an end - as well as restraining the limbs from behaving badly out of impatience.
• Being content, on the other hand, involves feeling at ease in accepting the Divine Decree, and being unconcerned with when any suffering will stop although it is being experienced. Being content alleviates any suffering by reason of the heart's immersion in the spirit of certainty and knowledge. If the contentment increases in its intensity, then it removes the experiencing of any suffering altogether.
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (Salallahu 'alayhi wa Salam) said:
"The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allah loves a people He tests them. Whoever accepts that wins His pleasure but whoever is discontent with that earns His wrath."
[Sunan ibn Majah, 4031]

Recitify your faults before trying to rectify the world.

Do not abuse the Muslims nor seek after their faults. For indeed, he who seeks after their (other people’s) faults,
Allah will seek after his faults. And whomsoever has Allah seek after his faults, He will expose them, even if he may have committed them in the privacy of his own home”

LET ALL IN LIFE REMIND YOU OF AAKHIRAH
Imaam Ibn al Jawzee (d. 597AH) (rahimahul Laah) said:

Imaam Ibn Hibbaan (rahimahul Laah) said:

When a companion saw another companion's wife in a shabby state.
Narrated Abu Juhaifa:
The Prophet (peace be upon him) made a bond of brotherhood between Salman and Abu Ad-Darda.' Salman paid a visit to Abu Ad-Darda' and found Um Ad-Darda' dressed in shabby clothes and asked her why she was in that state. She replied, "Your brother Abu Ad-Darda' is not interested in (the luxuries of) this world."
Then the hadith states
Salman told Abu Ad-Darda', "Your Lord has a right on you, your soul has a right on you, and your family has a right on you; so you should give the rights of all those who has a right on you." Abu Ad- Darda' came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and narrated the whole story. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Salman has spoken the truth."

CURSE OF THOSE INDULGING IN HALAALA
The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah has cursed the one whose divorced wife was made Halal for him (Muhallal) and the one who made her Halal (Muhallil).”
[Ref: Sunan Tirmidhi Vol. 2, Book 6, Hadith 1119, 1120, Sunan Ibn Maajah Vol. 3, Book 9, Hadith 1936, 1935, 1934, Sunan an-Nasaa'ee Vol. 4, Book 27, Hadith 3445 Musnad Ahmad and others.]
Note : The muhallil is the one who marries a woman and divorce her so that she can go back to her first husband, and the muhallal is the first husband.
From among the ones whom Allah has cursed is the one who makes the divorced wife Halal (permissible) and the one whose divorced wife has become halal. Some people are so twisted that they try to play the Shariah by playing games with Allah’s laws. After a husband has divorced his wife 3 times and she completed her Iddah (waiting period), she cannot marry him again unless she marries someone else and gets divorced from him WITHOUT STIPULATING ANY AGREEMENT OR CONDITION OF DIVORCING IN ORDER TO FACILITATE THE WOMEN'S MARRIAGE TO HER FORMER HUSBAND. But what this cursed man does is agree with another man to marry his ex wife and stipulates a condition that he will dirvorce her on the night of marriage or etc. so that this (process : halala) can be made possible and that after the man divorces her, he can take her back again. Both these conspiring men are cursed by Allah and if the women is involved in this agreement then even she is sinning.
There should be no condition in the heart or word of men in such a situation. After a woman has been irrevocably divorced, and if she intends to get back to her former husband then she should marry another man without affixing any agreement of divorce in whatsoever way. The new husband has the choice to leave her or keep her until he dies. But as explained above some people indulge in this contract and are cursed. The below proves shall suffice this :
“The wife of Rifa’ah Al-Qurzi came to the Messenger of Allah and said: ‘I was with Rifa’ah and he divorced me irrevocably. Then I married Abdur-Rahman bin Az-Zubair, but he only has the likes of the fringe of a garment.’ So he said: ‘Perhaps you want me to return to Rifa’ah? No, not until you taste his sweetness (sexual intercourse and etc), and he tastes your sweetness.’”
[Ref: Sunan at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 2, Book 6, Hadith 1118; Sunan an-Nasaa'ee Vol. 4, Book 26, Hadith 3285; Sahih al-Bukhaari, Vol. 7, Book 63, Hadith 186; Sahih Muslim, Book 8, Hadith 3356]
“And if he has divorced her (the third time), then she is not lawful unto him thereafter until she has married another husband. Then, if the other husband divorces her, it is no sin on both of them that they reunite, provided they feel that they can keep the limits ordained by Allaah. These are the limits of Allaah, which He makes plain for the people who have knowledge”
[Ref: Qur'an - al-Baqarah 2:230].
Narrated that ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased with him) said whilst addressing the people: “By Allaah, no muhallil or muhallal lahu will be brought to me but I will stone them.”

Ridiculing is from the manners of the hypocrites
The Mufti Shaykh 'Abdul-'Azeez said:
Ridiculing is from the manners of the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Allaah the Exalted said:
"Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. And whenever they passed by them, they used to wink one to another (in mockery); and when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; and when they saw them, they said: Verily! These have indeed gone astray!"
(Soorah Al-Mutaffifīn 83:29-32)
Allaah the Exalted explained in the first part of the Soorah the recompense of the criminals, and the reward of the believers; then He clarified that the criminals ridicule the believers, laugh at them with words of contempt and disrespect. “And whenever they passed by them, they used to wink one to another (in mockery).”All of this is due to the hatred in their hearts.
And Allaah the Exalted said:
"But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My remembrance while you used to laugh at them! Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience; they are indeed the ones that are successful."
(Soorah Al-Mu'minūn 23:110-111)
Thus the disbelievers and people of misguidance ridicule the people of rectification and the Imams of guidance, such that their ridicule distracted them from the remembrance of Allah and pondering what will benefit them. Rather they busy themselves with ridicule, mockery, contempt, and disdain for the slaves of Allaah. And Allaah explained that it is from the characteristics of the hypocrites to ridicule the believers.
Allaah the Exalted said:
"If you ask them (about this), they declare: “We were only talking idly and joking.” Say: “Was it at Allah, and His Aayat and His Messenger that you were mocking?" "

"If you ask them (about this), they declare: “We were only talking idly and joking.” Say: “Was it at Allah, and His Aayat and His Messenger that you were mocking?" "

A Treatment for Egotism
It is reported that Imâm Al-Shâfi’î – Allâh have mercy on him – said:
If you fear becoming deluded and impressed by your deeds then remember whose pleasure you are seeking, and the joy (Paradise) in which you want to be, and what punishment you fear. Whoever thinks about these things will diminish his deeds.
Al-Dhahabî, Siyar A’lâm Al-Nubalâ` 10:42.

Me, Myself and I – Imam Ibn Al Qayyim (rahimahullaah)
Shaykh ul –Islaam Ibn Al Qayyim as-Salafi -Rahimullaah-
From his book ‘Za’ad al-Ma’aad’
Translated by Abbas Abu Yahya
Ibn al-Qayyim said:
‘Every Muslim should be warned of the oppression of: ‘I – My/Mine – I Possess’
Indeed these three words are what Iblees (Shaytan), Fir’awn and Qaroon were tried with.
Iblees said: ‘I am better than him’Fir’awn said: ‘Is not mine the Kingdom of Egypt,’Qaroon said: ‘This has been given to me only because of knowledge I possess.’
So regarding the saying of the Slave of Allaah ‘I’ – then the best that he can be described with is:
I am a slave who sins, makes mistakes, seeks forgiveness and recognizes this.
So regarding the saying of ‘My/Mine’ – and those statements similar to that is:
My sins, my crimes, my humbleness, my depravation and submissiveness.
So regarding the saying of ‘I Possess’:
Forgive me for my mistakes and what I do intentionally, in jest, or in seriousness and I possess all these shortcomings.
