❝There are 4 types of people who cause the most corruption on earth:

🌟1. Half-baked rhetorician (philosopher) who has little knowledge of the Texts (the Qur'aan and the Sunnah).

🌟2. Half-baked scholar who has little understanding of the Texts.

🌟3. Half-baked doctor who has little knowledge of medicine.

🌟4. Half-baked grammarian who has little knowledge of the grammar.

🚫 The first one harms the religion.

🚫 The second one harms the land (or country).

🚫 The third one harms the body.

🚫 The fourth one harms the language.❞

[Based on what Shaikh Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned in Majmoo` al-Fataawa (5/118-119)]
Knowledge Is Rizq From Allaah

Shaykh 'Abdul-'Aziz bin Baaz [رحمه الله] said:

"It is known that acquiring knowledge is from the best of provisions. It is exiting from the confinement of ignorance and its darkness to the vastness of knowledge and its light.

Allaah [تعالى] said:

﴿وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ يُسْرًا﴾‏

‘And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him.’

Acquiring beneficial knowledge is from the greatest of success and ease; because the student of Sharia’ knowledge acquires with his knowledge many types of goodness and means of salvation which cannot easily be acquired by the ignorant person."

[Fatawa Shaykh bin Baz, (1/350) | Translated By Abbas Abu Yahya, Miraath al-Anbiyya]
The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said:

Whoever reads surah al-Ikhlas 10 times, Allah will build a castle for him in Paradise.

[al-Albani, Sahih al-Jaami no.6472]
Alī Ibn Alī Talib رضي الله عنه‎ Said;

"This world is like a snake; soft to the touch, yet filled with poison."

[Kitāb Az-Zuhd (No.164)]
Shaikh Saalih al-Fawzaan (hafidhahullaah) said:

"Everyone who opposes the Jamaa'ah of Ahlus-Sunnah, then he is astray. There is no jamaa'ah according to us, except one: it is Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah [the Taa`ifatul-Mansoorah (the Victorious Group), the Firqatun-Naajiyah (Saved-Sect), Ahlul-Hadeeth, Ahlul-'Ilm (people of knowledge)]. Whatever opposes this Jamaa'ah, then it is in opposition to the manhaj of the Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam). We also say, everyone who opposes Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah, then he is from the people of desires. And elements of opposition vary in ruling of them being misguided or outside of Islaam with relation to how large, small, far or near they are from the truth."

[al-Ajwibatul-Mufeedah (p. 10) of Saalih al-Fawzaan, with the annotations of Jamaal al-Haarithee]
Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud (Radi Allahu Anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (SalAllahu Alayhi Wasallam) said:

“You must be truthful. Verily, truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man continues to be truthful and encourages honesty until he is recorded with Allah as truthful. And beware of falsehood. Verily, falsehood leads to wickedness and wickedness leads to the Hellfire. A man continues tell lies and encourages falsehood until he is recorded with Allah as a liar.”

[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5743, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2607]
In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

The Messenger (ﷺ) said: Indeed, Allaah [The Most High] has removed from you the pride of the pre-Islamic period and its boasting about ancestors. One is only a pious believer or a wretched sinner. You are sons of Adam and Adam (was created from) dust. Let the people abandon boasting about their ancestors, for they are merely fuel in Jahannam; or they will become more insignificant in (the sight of) Allah than the beetle which rolls dung with its nose.

[Reported by Imaam Abu Dawud (rahimahullaah)’ Hadith Number 5116. Declared ‘Hasan’ by Shaikh Albaani (rahimahullaah) in his checking of Sunan Abu Dawud. Pages -766-767.Publisher: Maktabah Al-Ma’aarif’ 1st edition]

Ridiculing is from the manners of the hypocrites

The Mufti Shaykh 'Abdul-'Azeez said:
Ridiculing is from the manners of the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Allaah the Exalted said:

"Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. And whenever they passed by them, they used to wink one to another (in mockery); and when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; and when they saw them, they said: Verily! These have indeed gone astray!"
(Soorah Al-Mutaffifīn 83:29-32)

Allaah the Exalted explained in the first part of the Soorah the recompense of the criminals, and the reward of the believers; then He clarified that the criminals ridicule the believers, laugh at them with words of contempt and disrespect. “And whenever they passed by them, they used to wink one to another (in mockery).”All of this is due to the hatred in their hearts.

And Allaah the Exalted said:
"But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My remembrance while you used to laugh at them! Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience; they are indeed the ones that are successful."
(Soorah Al-Mu'minūn 23:110-111)

Thus the disbelievers and people of misguidance ridicule the people of rectification and the Imams of guidance, such that their ridicule distracted them from the remembrance of Allah and pondering what will benefit them. Rather they busy themselves with ridicule, mockery, contempt, and disdain for the slaves of Allaah. And Allaah explained that it is from the characteristics of the hypocrites to ridicule the believers.

Allaah the Exalted said:
"If you ask them (about this), they declare: “We were only talking idly and joking.” Say: “Was it at Allah, and His Aayat and His Messenger that you were mocking?" "
(Soorah At Tawbah 9:65)

A Treatment for Egotism

It is reported that Imâm Al-Shâfi’î – Allâh have mercy on him – said:

If you fear becoming deluded and impressed by your deeds then remember whose pleasure you are seeking, and the joy (Paradise) in which you want to be, and what punishment you fear. Whoever thinks about these things will diminish his deeds.

Al-Dhahabî, Siyar A’lâm Al-Nubalâ` 10:42.
Me, Myself and I – Imam Ibn Al Qayyim (rahimahullaah)

Shaykh ul –Islaam Ibn Al Qayyim as-Salafi -Rahimullaah-
From his book ‘Za’ad al-Ma’aad’
Translated by Abbas Abu Yahya

Ibn al-Qayyim said:

‘Every Muslim should be warned of the oppression of: ‘I – My/Mine – I Possess’

Indeed these three words are what Iblees (Shaytan), Fir’awn and Qaroon were tried with.

Iblees said: ‘I am better than him’Fir’awn said: ‘Is not mine the Kingdom of Egypt,’Qaroon said: ‘This has been given to me only because of knowledge I possess.’

So regarding the saying of the Slave of Allaah ‘I’ – then the best that he can be described with is:

I am a slave who sins, makes mistakes, seeks forgiveness and recognizes this.

So regarding the saying of ‘My/Mine’ – and those statements similar to that is:

My sins, my crimes, my humbleness, my depravation and submissiveness.

So regarding the saying of ‘I Possess’:

Forgive me for my mistakes and what I do intentionally, in jest, or in seriousness and I possess all these shortcomings.

[Taken from ‘Za’ad al-Ma’aad’ 2/475 – By Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawzeeyah]
Upon Ubaadah bin Saamit [رضي الله عنه] that the Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] said:

❝Speak good and you will gain [reward] and refrain from evil speech and you will be safe.❞

The sign of generosity and humility is that if you notice a defect in his apology, you do not address it nor hold him against it.”

"If you speak about Tawheed, the people of Shirk renounce you.

And if you speak about the Sunnah, the people of innovation renounce you.

And if you speak about proof and evidence, the math-hab blind followers, Sufis and the ignorant renounce you.

And if you speak about Islam and its connection with our daily lives, the secularists and whoever wants to seperate religion from the lives of people renounce you.

It is a severe strangeness towards Ahlu Sunnah, they fight us with all means, they fight us with the media which is heard, the media which is seen and the media which is written. It has reached the extent that even the families and friends are fighting this strange person who is holding onto the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger SalAllahu Alayhi Wasallam.

And regardless of all of that, we are happy with this strangeness, and are proud to be strange, because the Prophet of Allah (Peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him and his household) praised these strangers, he said:

"Islam began as something strange and will return to be strange just as it began, so glad tidings to the strangers" They asked him "and who are they O Messenger of Allah"? He replied: "they are the ones who are upright when the people are corrupted"
