On the authority of Abdullaah bin Mas’oodwho said that the Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] said:

❝A believer does not defame, nor does he curse, nor does he do evil acts nor is he obscene/foul.❞

When in fear of afflicting something or someone with one's eye.....

If you see anything of your brother that pleases you, or of his person or of his property (then ask Allah to bless him in it) for the envious eye is real.

Say
للَّهُمَّ بَارِك عَلَيه
Allahumma barik 'alayhi.

🚩Threat against opposing the way of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and his Ṣaḥabah

And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muḥammad ﷺ) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers' way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what an evil destination.

~ Tahir Bin Mansoor
15 points from the Qur’aan and the Sunnah for the Reasons Why All Dua Are Not Accepted:

#1: We fail to ask Allaah for help, nor do we humble ourselves in front of Him.

#2: We fail to glorify Allaah تعالى or fail to send the blessings upon the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم before beginning our supplication.

#3: We sometimes lack proper judgment in deciding what is good or bad for us. In this materialistic world, our decisions are more often based on emotions rather than being based on wisdom.

#4: We are not constant in our Du
aa’. We fail to seek Allaah's help in our times of needs as we fail to thank Him in our times of ease.

#5: Since we are less concerned for our own self, then how much more less we might be concerned for others. O brothers! Supplicate for your brothers and the angels of Allaah will supplicate for you.

#6: Sometimes we pray for others but forget to pray for our own self.

#7: We are impatient in our Duaa’ nor are we constant in our Duaa’, but still want our supplications to be answered quickly.

#8: Showing uncertainty while supplicating or having doubts that the supplication will be answered.

#9: The best time to make Duaa’ and we sleep over it...

#10: We complain, complain, and complain about our problems to others instead of concentrating on our Du
aa’.

#11: We fail to ask from Allaah alone. Instead, amongst us are those who call the dead or the “saints” to help them in the times of need...

#12: We are so dependent upon Allaah for our daily needs from the food we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe to anything and everything. But even then we rebel against Allaah by committing sins. So how much more rebellious and treacherous we would be, had Allaah accepted our every supplication???

#13: We have overlooked one of the biggest hindrance which prevents our Du`aa’ from being answered and that is unlawful earnings.

#14: Allaah is not in need of our prayers, but it is we who are in need of His help. So, why do we expect Allaah to help us when we are making Him angry by committing sins? The proper way is to seek His pleasure (by worshiping Him alone) and then to ask Him for our needs.

#15: Allaah commanded us to enjoin what’s good and forbid what’s evil. But look at us, we do the opposite. We enjoin what is evil (sharing cigarettes, movies, music etc.) and little do we call towards righteousness.

"A BAD HABIT: [EEECH! EEEW! THE FOOD IS HORRIBLE!]...

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Narrated Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu-anhu): The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) never criticized any food, but he would eat it if he liked it; otherwise he would leave it. [Saheeh al-Bukhaari Number 3563]

Short commentary by Imaam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) on the above hadeeth:

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullaah) said: This is from his [i.e. the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam)] noble manners. He would neither say that it is salty nor the opposite of it.

Question: What if one says the food is such and such in order to warn (or notify the people)? Answer: There is no harm in doing so, for warning (or notifying) is something else because it is done to educate (people about food etc). [End of quote (Ref 1)]

Ibn ‘Umar reported that there were some persons with Allaah’s Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) from among his Companions, Sa’d being one of them. There was brought to them the flesh of the lizard when a lady amongst the wives of Allaah’s Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: It is the flesh of the lizard. Thereupon Allaah’s Messenger (way sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: Eat, for it is lawful, but it is not my diet. [Ref 2]

Abdullah bin ‘Abbas reported: I and Khalid bin Al-Walid went to the apartment of Maimuna along with Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam), and there was presented to him a roasted lizard. Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) stretched his hand towards it, whereupon some of the women who had been in the house of Maimuna said: Inform Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) what he intends to eat. Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) lifted his hand. I said: ”Messenger of Allaah, is it forbidden? He said: ”No. It is not found in the land of my people, and I feel that I have no liking for it. Khalid said: I then chewed and ate it, while, Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) was looking (at me). [end of quote (Ref 3)]

We ask Allaah (The Most High) to grant us the Tawfeeq to follow and imitate the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi- wasallam) in every affair and forgive us our shortcomings and bad habits. Aameen

" WARNING to those who see Evil but remain silent about it"

The Messenger of ALLAH ﷺ ...warned us:
There is no group of people among evil deeds are done in their midst. And they do not change {the Evil. By forbidding it} When they're capable except that they are on the verge of being punished by ALLAH collectively {Abu Dawood}
📝 🕌 REMINDER - MONDAY 🕌 📝

It was narrated that 'Ā'ishah (may Allāh ﷻ be pleased with her) said:

"كان النبي ﷺ يتحرَّى صوم الاثنين والخميس"

"The Prophet ﷺ was keen to fast on Mondays and Thursdays."

[Reported by al-Tirmidhi, 745; al-Nasā'ī, 2361; Ibn Mājah, 1739]

It was also narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allāh ﷻ be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

"تُعرض الأعمال يوم الاثنين والخميس ، فأحب أن يعرض عملي وأنا صائم"

"Deeds are shown (to Allāh ﷻ) on Mondays and Thursdays, and I like my deeds to be shown when I am fasting."

[Reported by al-Tirmidhī, 747]

So do not forget to fast tomorrow if you are able to do so, and also try to remind others.

May Allāh ﷻ have mercy on you.aameen
Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullaah) said:

“The foundations of the medicine of the body are three:
i. Preservation of health.
ii. A diet that avoids those things which may cause harm.
iii. Removing harmful matter from the body.”
📌At Tibb p.9
Man Has Two Enemies:

ONE is SHAYTAN, the SECOND is HIS OWN NAFS (HUMAN SELF).- SHAYTAN IS YOUR ENEMY, BUT HE ISN’T AS BIG AN ENEMY TO INSAAN AS HIS OWN NAFS IS.

Allah says in the Qur’an, ” …Indeed, the plot of Shaytan is ever feeble” [4:76], whereas about the Nafs the Qur’an says, ” Indeed the (Human self) Nafs is supremely commanding to do evil, except those upon whom my Lord has mercy.” [12:53].

Whatever your Nafs hates for your Nafs is from the Shaytan, so seek refuge with Allah from it. And whatever your Nafs likes for your Nafs is from your Nafs so forbid it to it.

When a person desires to do a sin, but suppresses it and controls it over and over again that is a sign that the Nafs is trying to make us sin. Our Nafs is like a child who is stubborn and insistent to touch or execute something. On the other hand, if we have a desire to do a sin, but we suppress it, then we get a desire to do a ‘different’ type of sin, but we suppress it and control it, and then again, we get yet a different desire to do a sin, this is Shaytan trying to influence us. Shaytan doesn’t care which sins we commit; he’s not stubborn like we are. He tempts and moves on to a new temptation. Ultimately, if Shaytan cannot get us to sin, he will try to keep us from doing something that is good.

The main weapon in this battle against the Nafs is patience. Patience has many aspects to it. Patience has been defined by ibn al-Qayyim (Rahimahullah) as “confirming the demands of the [intellegent and rational] mind and faith against the urges of desires and lusts.”

[Ibn Qayyim in Iddah al-Saabireen wa Dhakheerah al-Shakireen: Beirut Daar al-Kutub al-Ilmiyyah 1983, p.16]
“There is no shame in that a person makes a mistake, shameful is that he does not return back to the truth after it has become clear to him.”

- Shaykh Muqbil Ibn Hādī Al-Wādi'ī (rahimahullah)

[From The Tape Al-As'ilah Al-Imārātiyyah | Translated by ‘Abdurrahīm Ibn Muhammad Al-Hadhramī]
Al-Haafiz `Abdur-Ra-oof al-Munaawee -rahimahullaah- (d. 1031 H) said in Faydul-Qadeer (3/464): Yoosuf ibn Asbaat said:

The sign of good character is in ten qualities:

(1) rarely arguing,

(2) treating others fairly,

(3) abandoning seeking out people’s faults,

(4) seeking to rectify and improve any evil qualities which appear,

(5) seeking excuses for people,

(6) bearing harm,

(7) blaming oneself,

(8) occupying oneself with awareness of one’s own faults and not with the faults of others,

(9) having a cheerful face,

(10) and being mild in speech.
