Never break a woman’s heart 💔

Q: What’s the (good) deed in which you hold the most hope?

Abu Uthman al-Wa'idh said: "When I grew up, I wanted to marry but I (always) refused.
A woman came to me and said: 'O Abu Uthman! I love you with a love that left me with neither sleep nor rest. I ask you by the One who turns hearts and I take Him as an intercessor to you so that you marry me.'
I asked: 'Do you have a father?'
She said: 'Yes.'
She called him, and I married her.
When I was alone with her, I saw that she was one-eyed, lame, deformed, so I said: 'O Allaah, praise comes back to you for what You’ve predestined for me!
My family members blamed me for marrying her, but I showed more kindness and generosity to her.
Sometimes she kept me and stopped me from attending classes, and sometimes I boiled (with anger), but I didn’t show her anything, so I stayed for fifteen years, and I have no more hope other than the fact that I’ve preserved what she felt in her heart towards me (i.e. I did not give her a chance to regret loving me)'."

~ [al-Bidaayah wan-Nihaayah (v. 11, p. 188)]
Patience is of three types:

[1] The first type patience is when a person exercises patience (whilst striving) to obey Allaah.

[2] The second type of patience is when a person exercises patience in seeking to restrain him (or herself) from disobeying Allaah.

[3] The third type of patience is when a person exercise patience when encountered with Allaah’s decree, which maybe something painful (i.e. a calamity)

Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah [D.751 A.H.] [رحمه الله] said:

❝From the means of ease and delight for the heart, is: continuous remembrance of Allaah in all circumstances, and in every place. Dhikr has an amazing effect in giving ease to the heart, and pleasure to the heart. Negligence has a strange effect on making the heart constrained, imprisoning it and punishing it.❞

The Most Beautiful Thing That the People of the World Leave the World Without Ever Tasting
Posted on Monday, August 22, 2011

From Salam al-Khawaass who said:

قال مالك بن دينار خرج أهل الدنيا من الدنيا ولم يذوقوا أطيب شيء فيها قيل وما هو قال معرفة الله تعالى

Malik bin Dinar said: "The people of the world depart from the world without them having tasted the most beautiful thing from it." It was said, "And what is it?" He replied, "The ma'rifah of Allaah [knowledge of His names, attributes, actions and their interplay and connection to the creation]."

♨️WASWAAS DO NOT BOTHER A DEAD HEART♨️

🎓Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah(رحمه الله):

Thoughts and delusions (Waswaas) that are not compatible with religion do not bother a dead heart, because such a heart is already lifeless and ruined and that is all that Satan wants.
It was said to one of the pious predecessors: "The Jews and Christians say that they do not suffer from the problem of waswaas (insinuous whispers)."
He replied: "They are speaking the truth, for what would Satan want with a house that is in ruins?"

#Reasons For An Increase And Decrease Of Prices

Shaykh ul Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah [رحمه الله] said:

❝Products become expensive due to an increase in prices and are cheap due to a decrease of price. These two aspects are from the general occurrences which have no creator except Allaah Alone.

None of those things can occur except by Allaah’s permission and His capability. However, Allaah -Subhanahu- may place some of the actions of the slaves of Allaah as reasons and means for some occurrences. Just as like a murderer killing someone is the reasons for a death to occur.

Allaah causing an increase in prices could be due to the slaves of Allaah oppressing one another and the decrease in prices could be due to some people being good to others.❞

[Sharh Hilyah Talib-ul-‘Ilm, Page 28]

Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“Singing [and music] is worse and more harmful than stories of emperors, because it directs [one] to adultery and fornication and it is the fountainhead of hypocrisy. It is the snare of the Shaytaan, and it intoxicates the intellect, Its obstructing (people) from the Qur’aan is worse than any way in which other types of phony speech blocks them, because the souls of people lean towards [sounds like this] and have the desire to listen to it.”

[Ighaathatul-Lahfaan’,1/258-259]

Ibn Rajaab said:
"People started singing about alcohol & other sinful activities therefore the sahaba took a firm stance against music."

"A person should spend his time with what will give him good in return in this life and the life after this. Let him occupy himself with remembrance of Allaah, read the Qur'aan and beneficial books. Moreover, it is also fine to listen to beneficial poetry which urges to noble character and good adab. But as for these Anasheed which are listened to in these times, and which are sung in choirs to thereafter be recorded and sold, one should neither listen to them nor care about them (i.e one should ignore them)."
