| That is a shaytaan whose name is Khanzab... ||

Abu’l-‘Aas (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that he said, “O Messenger of Allaah, the Shaytaan interrupts me when I pray, and I get confused in my recitation.” The Messenger of Allaah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said, “That is a shaytaan whose name is Khanzab. If you sense his presence, seek refuge with Allaah from him, and spit [dry spitting] towards your left three times.” [Abu’l-‘Aas] said: “I did that and Allaah took him away from me.”

(Reported by Muslim, no. 2203)
• Why are the Muslims weak today?•
Shaykhul Islaam Ahmad ibn Taymeeyah 728AH (May Allah have mercy on him) said,

وإذا كان في المسلمين ضعفوكان عدوهم مستظهرًا عليهم كان ذلك بسبب ذنوبهم وخطاياهم إما لتفريطهم في أداء الواجبات باطنًا وظاهرًا

“If the Muslims are weak and their enemies have gained an upper hand against them, then this is a result of their #sins whether it is by their #neglectfulness in establishing obligatory matters both inwardly (having the correct belief) and/or outwardly (like prayer, fasting, zakah, etc).”

Sahih Al Bukhari

Volume 2, Book 13, Number 21:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said 'We are the last (to come amongst the nations) but (will be) the foremost on the Day of Resurrection. They were given the Holy Scripture before us and we were given the Quran after them. And this was the day (Friday) about which they differed and Allah gave us the guidance (for that). So tomorrow (i.e. Saturday) is the Jews' (day), and the day after tomorrow (i.e. Sunday) is the Christians'.' The Prophet (p.b.u.h) remained silent (for a while) and then said, 'It is obligatory for every Muslim that he should take a bath once in seven days, when he should wash his head and body.'
Narrated Abu Huraira through different narrators that the Prophet said, 'It is Allah's right on every Muslim that he should take a bath (at least) once in seven days.'
Imaam Al-Awzaa’ee [rahimahullaah] said:

Adhere to the footsteps (example or path) of those who came before you [i.e. the Salafus Saalih], even if the people reject you. And beware of the opinions of men, even if they beautify it for you with speech.

● [شرح إغاثة اللهفان 08-11-1436هـ]

Translated By: Sameeullaah Sameeullaah (Aboo Maryamm)
The Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: "The nations are about to call each other and set upon you, just as diners set upon food." It was said: "Will it be because of our small number that day?" He said: "Rather, on that day you will be many, but you will be like foam, like the foam on the river. And Allaشh will remove the fear of you from the hearts of your enemies and will throw wahn (weakness) into your hearts." Someone said: "O Messenger of Allaشh! What is wahn?" He said: "LOVE OF THE WORLD AND THE HATRED FOR DEATH." [Aboo Daawood (no. 4297) authenticated by Al-Albaanee in as-Saheehah (no. 958)]
I'm just going to sit this right here - exactly the point I tried to make earlier but Alhdulillah don't twist my words with your false speech!

🤔 Shaykh Saleh bin Fowzan stated:

Not everyone who claims to be Salafi is truly Salafi. Some individuals have made this claim but they are ignorant and they don’t know the Salafi Minhaj. Some individuals have made this claim but they have actually adopted the methodology of the Khawarij, and this is displayed in their spilling of blood and causing mischief throughout the earth. Others have made this claim but they are self-taught and they have not taken knowledge from the scholars, but rather, they have taken it from books and that which they have read. They depend on their memorization of texts without (true) understanding.

Leaving obligation of advising others - a reason for our duas not being answered:

The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: I swear by Him in whose Hands is my soul, you will of a surety command what is good, and forbid what is evil, or else it is very possible that Allah will send upon you His punishment, so you will make du'a to Him, and you will not be responded.

[Reported by al-Tirmidhi (# 2169) who said that it was hasan sahih, as did al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami , # 7070.]
Brothers..shaving?

Allaah has honored the men with their beard wherein their beauty and dignity exists. Woe to the one who 'shaves or abuses it'. A person like that has certainly been disobedient to his Lord openly.

[Shaykh ‘Abdur-Rahmaan As-Sa’dee ra [Al-Fataawaa as-Sa’diyyah; 96-97]
“Cleanliness is from Eemaan,” this Hadeeth is weak. It is not authentically reported from the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam), although it is famous amongst the people.
Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih Al-‘Uthaymeen

Question:

The listener, whose initials are م ك س from Dammaam says: What is the extent of the authenticity of these two Hadeeths; for we have heard many of the people saying that they have been reported from Mustafaa (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam):
The other Hadeeth is:
النظافة من ا يمانCleanliness is from Eemaan.
من أخذ ا جرة حاسبه ا بالعملHe who takes a wage Allaah has recompensed him for the work.
I would like clarity regarding the extent of the authenticity of these two Hadeeths.
Answer:

All the praise is for Allaah, the Lord of all that exists. I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet, Muhammad, his family and companions, altogether. As for the second Hadeeth, I do not know of a basis for it. If the person does not know of a basis for a Hadeeth from the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) then it is not permissible to ascribe it to him until one is certain.
As for the first: “Cleanliness is from Eemaan,” this Hadeeth is weak. It is not authentically reported from the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam), although it is famous amongst the people. However, without doubt, the religion of Islaam commands with everything which contains good and benefit for the person; and from that is cleanliness. Indeed cleanliness in one’s body, clothing, and home is from the praiseworthy affairs in terms of custom which does not contradict the legislation. Whatever is praiseworthy by way of custom and does not contradict the legislation then it is from the affairs which are desirable which are befitting for the person to be described with. Rather, the Prophet, upon him be prayers and peace, said regarding the day of Jumu’ah:
لو تطهرتم ليومكم هذاYou should purify yourselves for this day of yours.
Performing Ghusl of Friday, without doubt, is a type of cleanliness. This is because there occurs on Jumu’ah the gathering of many people in one place. There occurs from sweat that which perhaps has a foul odor. Especially during the summer days, and before the advent of these air conditioners which ward off the intensity of the heat.
At any rate, cleanliness is a praiseworthy affair, legislatively and by way of custom. As for the anoscription of this Hadeeth to the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam), it is a weak Hadeeth and should not be ascribed to Allaah’s Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam).

Shoe-lace or Salt, Ask Allah

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Man should call upon Allah alone to provide for all his needs, so much so that even if a shoe-lace is broken, he should pray to Allah to provide a shoe-lace, and if he needs salt, he should beseech Allah to send it to him.” [Tirmidhi]

Prayer is the essence of worship and worship should be rendered to Allah alone. Do not call upon anyone except Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) to fulfill your needs.

Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) is rich while man is poor and He (سبحانه و تعالى) is bountiful and generous while man is stingy. Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) likes us to ask Him for things, for He loves to give us from the treasures with Him; while people dislike being asked, because they hate to part with what is with them. So ask Allah for any and every thing and refrain from asking human beings. This will endear you to Him a nd keep you honourable in the eyes of men.
SPEECH which is STRANGE but TRUE

🎓It was asked to al-Hasan al-Basri رحمه الله,

"Will you not revolt (against the ruler) to bring about change?"

❗️He replied: "NO!

VERILY, change is brought with TAWBAH and NOT with the SWORD."

Whatever is Between the East and the West is Qiblah – Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan

Questioner:
I’m abroad. I’ve used an application to determine the direction of the Qibla and have found that the direction of the Qibla in the mosque is off by 15-20 degrees. I’ve raised the issue to management but they give any mind. So at the moment I pray with the Imān..

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān:
Do not be harsh. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whatever is between the east and the west is Qiblah.” a slight deviation [is fine] as long as the Ka’ba isn’t behind or on your side, it doesn’t harm you.

The senior scholar Rabee bin Hadi al-Mudkhali -hafidhullaah- said:

"If your brother makes a mistake, advise him with gentleness and present him proofs and evidences through which Allaah will benefit him.

As for sitting waiting in ambush for someone to make a mistake and to rouse up hatred here and there that so-and-so did such-and-such. These are the ways of the Shayateen not the way of the people of the truth."

An Example of Shaykh Ibnul-’Uthaymeen’s Beautiful Manners in Giving Da’wah

Doctor Saud al-‘Ajaaji who was amongst those who accompanied Shaykh al-‘Uthaymeen on the last medical trip he made to Boston (a city in America) said,
“Whilst we were leaving the hotel where we were staying in, a little American boy who was with his mother stood in front of him – the Shaykh caught his attention because of his Saudi thawb and abayah – so he began to touch him on his head and to play with him. So his mother asked him to greet the Shaykh and he returned an even better greeting. Then the Shaykh said directing his speech to the mother ‘May Allaah guide you to Islaam’ all during which he kept lowering his gaze. Then the mother told her son to bid the Shaykh farewell by saying to her son, ‘Tell him have a nice day.’ So the Shaykh asked me what he said, I told him he said ‘Have a nice day.’ However some of those who were accompanying him became annoyed because of the way in which the woman was dressed. One of them even made some remarks towards her, but the Shaykh did not like this and he said, ‘O brothers this is not from the mannerisms of Islaam, the mother and he son were smiling at us and they were very cordial in speech, so it is upon us to reciprocate the favour. So rather then make du’aa against them, we should make du’aa for her which by the way is the path of this exalted religion.’”

🌸🌸When shyness is lost, every type of evil is committed.🌸🌸

There are five signs of wretchedness :

1. The harshness in the hearts
2. The unflinching eye
3. The lack of shyness
4. The seeking of worldy pleasures.
5. Longevity in life

An example of shyness is Asmaa bint Aboo Bakr in the hadeeth where she carried the date stones and was offered to ride behind the Prophet sallallahu alayhe was salaam but was too shy.

“Allaah says: ‘I am as My slave thinks of Me'”
~ Saheeh al-Bukhaari #7405

Shaykh ‘Abd ur-Rahmaan al-‘Ajlaan (hafidhahullaah) comments:

“If he has good thoughts about Allaah, that he will be answered, then he will be answered bi’ithnillaah. But if he says ‘I don’t think I will be answered’ and the like, then he will be deprived of the answer – and refuge is sought in Allaah – because he did not have good thoughts of his Lord.”
