Whatever is Between the East and the West is Qiblah – Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan
Questioner:
I’m abroad. I’ve used an application to determine the direction of the Qibla and have found that the direction of the Qibla in the mosque is off by 15-20 degrees. I’ve raised the issue to management but they give any mind. So at the moment I pray with the Imān..
Shaykh Ṣāliḥ ibn Fawzān al-Fawzān:
Do not be harsh. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whatever is between the east and the west is Qiblah.” a slight deviation [is fine] as long as the Ka’ba isn’t behind or on your side, it doesn’t harm you.

The senior scholar Rabee bin Hadi al-Mudkhali -hafidhullaah- said:
"If your brother makes a mistake, advise him with gentleness and present him proofs and evidences through which Allaah will benefit him.
As for sitting waiting in ambush for someone to make a mistake and to rouse up hatred here and there that so-and-so did such-and-such. These are the ways of the Shayateen not the way of the people of the truth."

An Example of Shaykh Ibnul-’Uthaymeen’s Beautiful Manners in Giving Da’wah
Doctor Saud al-‘Ajaaji who was amongst those who accompanied Shaykh al-‘Uthaymeen on the last medical trip he made to Boston (a city in America) said,
“Whilst we were leaving the hotel where we were staying in, a little American boy who was with his mother stood in front of him – the Shaykh caught his attention because of his Saudi thawb and abayah – so he began to touch him on his head and to play with him. So his mother asked him to greet the Shaykh and he returned an even better greeting. Then the Shaykh said directing his speech to the mother ‘May Allaah guide you to Islaam’ all during which he kept lowering his gaze. Then the mother told her son to bid the Shaykh farewell by saying to her son, ‘Tell him have a nice day.’ So the Shaykh asked me what he said, I told him he said ‘Have a nice day.’ However some of those who were accompanying him became annoyed because of the way in which the woman was dressed. One of them even made some remarks towards her, but the Shaykh did not like this and he said, ‘O brothers this is not from the mannerisms of Islaam, the mother and he son were smiling at us and they were very cordial in speech, so it is upon us to reciprocate the favour. So rather then make du’aa against them, we should make du’aa for her which by the way is the path of this exalted religion.’”

🌸🌸When shyness is lost, every type of evil is committed.🌸🌸
There are five signs of wretchedness :
1. The harshness in the hearts
2. The unflinching eye
3. The lack of shyness
4. The seeking of worldy pleasures.
5. Longevity in life
An example of shyness is Asmaa bint Aboo Bakr in the hadeeth where she carried the date stones and was offered to ride behind the Prophet sallallahu alayhe was salaam but was too shy.

Value of this Duniya/World (and everything in it)....
This life is a test for a believer and a paradise for a disbeliever!
It was narrated that Sahl bin Sa’d said:
“We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in Dhul-Hulaifah, when we saw a dead sheep lifting its leg (because of bloating). He said: ‘Don’t you think this is worthless to its owner? By the One in Whose hand is my soul, this world is more worthless to Allah than this (dead sheep) is to its owner. If this world was worth the wing of a mosquito to Allah, the disbeliever would not have a drop to drink from it.’”

O Allaah, veil my weaknesses and set at ease my dismay. O Allaah, preserve me from the front and from behind and on my right and on my left and from above, and I take refuge with You lest I be swallowed up by the earth.
Allaahumma 'innee 'as'alukal-'afwa wal'aafiyata fid-dunyaa wal'aakhirati, Allaahumma 'innee 'as'alukal-'afwa wal'aafiyata fee deenee wa dunyaaya wa 'ahlee, wa maalee, Allaahum-mastur 'awraatee, wa 'aamin raw'aatee, Allaahum-mahfadhnee min bayni yadayya, wa min khalfee, wa 'an yameenee, wa 'an shimaalee, wa min fawqee, wa 'a'oothu bi'adhamatika 'an 'ughtaala min tahtee.
Sahih Ibn Majah 2/332, Abu Dawud.

Allahumma Ij'aal Amalee Kullahu Saalihaan
Waj'aalhu Li-Wajhika Khaalisaan
Wa Laa Taj'aal Li-Ahadin Feehi Shay'aan
Oh Allah Make all of my actions righteous (with sincerity and accordance with the sunnah)
And make them(my actions) soley for Your Face sincerely.
And do not permit anyone to have a share in it whatsoever.
