There is a soul within a person, without which he will not be alive...- Ibn Uthaymeen
There is a soul within a person, without which he will not be alive. Had it not been that a soul was inside his body, he would not have been alive.
And he will not be able to describe the soul if it were said to him: ‘’what is this soul in connection to yourself; why is it that you become a corpse when it is removed from you and when it remains you are a human being (able) to reason, understand and perceive? He would have sat, reflect and contemplate and will never be able to describe it; even though it is close to him and by his side, he will be unable to perceive it. Therefore, how can he attempt to describe The Lord (Allaah) with an affair that He (Allaah) has not described Himself with!?

A man said to al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī (raḥimahullāh):
‘The people sit around you so that they may find fault with you!’ So he said, ‘Indeed, I encouraged my soul to aspire for Paradise so it aspired for it. Then I encouraged it to aspire for salvation from Hellfire and so it aspired for it. Then I encouraged it to aspire for salvation from the people, but I didn’t find a way to that. Indeed, the people were not pleased with their Creator although He provides for them, so how can they be pleased with another creation like themselves?’ 1
Prophet Mūsá (ʿalayhisalām) said: ‘O my Lord, the people say things about me which are not (i.e. not true)! So Allāh revealed to him: ‘O Mūsá, I did not make that (privilege) for Myself, so how can I make it the case for you?’ 2
Mālik ibn Dinār: ‘Since I have known (the reality of) people, I have not taken delight in their praise nor have I hated their criticism.’ It was said to him, ‘Why is that?’ He said, ‘The one who praises from amongst them is excessive and the critic from amongst them exaggerates!" 3
‘Āʿishah (raḍī Allāhu ʿanha) wrote to Mu’awiya (raḍī Allāhu ʿʿʿanhu): ‘Salamun ʿalayk. Amma baʿd, I have heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say, ‘Whoever gains the Pleasure of Allāh by the anger of the people (i.e. thereby gains their anger), Allāh suffices him of the people’s troubles. Imam al-Shāfiʿī: ‘There is nobody except that he has someone who loves him and someone who hates him. So if that’s the case, let a person be with the people who are obedient to Allāh `azza wa jall!’ (as they love and hate for the Sake of Allāh and they are not unjust). 5

💥 Why we need to stress more and more on learning the Correct
🌴🌴🌴
As for Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamaa
e) and without Tahreef (without changing their meaning).
💢💢💢
May Allaah guide us and keep us firm upon the Deen.
Aqeedah:
In the Hadeeth it is mentioned that the very first question that will be asked in the grave will be: “Who is your Lord?”
The believer will reply: “Allaah is my Lord.”
And as for the disbeliever, he will be in the state of shock and will say: “Hah! Hah! I don’t know.”
So, the believer will be able to answer the question, but not the disbeliever.
🌴🌴🌴
Now contemplate on this: among the disbelievers there is a large number of Arab Christians – those who pronounce the name of their Lord as “Allaah” in the same way as the Muslims do. And the same name is used over and over again in their Arabic Bible. Furthermore, they also say: “Alhamdulillaah”.
So then, why won’t they be able to answer the question?!
🌴🌴🌴
It is well known that the "God" which they refer to as Allaah, they also ascribe many deficiencies to Him as well. Part of their belief is that “God” gets tired, “God” begets a son, “God” makes mistakes and regrets, “God” is weak, and “God” can die and so on.
🌴🌴🌴
This is why in the Qur’aan Allaah تعالى negated all this and freed Himself of all the deficiencies that were/are ascribed to Him. He تعالى mentioned that He does not get tired, He does not sleep, He does not beget nor is He begotten, He does not forget, He does not oppress, He does not break His promise, He does not deceive, He is the ever living and does not die, and so on.
🌴🌴🌴
So, merely knowing Allaah by His Name is not sufficient. We have to know Him the way He تعالى has described Himself – we have to affirm for Him what He تعالى has affirmed for Himself in His Book and through His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم; and we have to negate for Him what He تعالى has negated for Himself in His Book and through His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم.
After knowing all this, we have to convert our knowledge into action by Worshiping Him Alone, without associating any partners with Him in His worship. And these acts of worship should be upon the Sunnah (teachings) of the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم. ONLY THEN WILL WE BE ABLE TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS IN THE GRAVE.
🌴🌴🌴
And this is a clear warning to those deviants (the Jahmies, the Asharees, the Sufees and their likes) who ascribe deficiencies to Allaah – those who DENY that which Allaah تعالى has affirmed for Himself, like denying the Face, the Hand, the Sight, the Hearing, the Speech. These deviants have trodden the path of the Christians in ascribing deficiencies to Allaah. As the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم had mentioned that people from this Ummah will follow and emulate the Jews and Christians – inch by inch and step by step.🌴🌴🌴
As for Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamaa
ah, when they hear the Names and Attributes, they simply believe in them the way it befits His Majesty:
a) without Takyyeef (without describing the HOW of it),
b) without Tamtheel (without equating them with the creation),
c) without Tashbeeh (without comparing them with the creation),
d) without Tateel (without denying them),e) and without Tahreef (without changing their meaning).
💢💢💢
May Allaah guide us and keep us firm upon the Deen.
Shamsuddeen Muhammad bin Abee Bakr Ibn Qayyim aj-Jawzeeyah (d.751 A.H.) -Rahimullaah- said:
‘There are types of medicines which can treat illnesses which the minds of the senior doctors cannot comprehend, and that which their sciences, experiences and measurements cannot reach. These are the medicines of the heart and soul, and the strength of the heart, its dependence upon Allaah and trust upon Him and seeking refuge in Him. Prostrating and feeling in dire need of Allaah and humbling oneself for Allaah. Likewise giving Sadaqah (charity), making Dua’, repentance and seeking forgiveness, being good to the creation, aiding the distressed and liberating from grief and unhappiness.
Indeed these types of medication have been used by various nations, who are upon different religions and communities, and they found that they had an effect in the treatment of illnesses, which even the sciences of the most knowledgeable doctors could not reach, and they have no experience nor measurement of it. We have indeed experienced these matters a great deal and as others have, and we have seen what ordinary medicine can and cannot do.’

Verification – Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan
Al-Istiqaamah Issue No.4 – Jumâdal-Awwal 1417H / November 1996
Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan – hafidahullaah – relates:
“Allaah – the Majestic, the Most High – orders us to verify any news that reaches us concerning a group or party from amongst the Muslims, when an evil news reaches us which necessitates fighting or opposing this group. Allaah – the Mighty, the Most High – orders us not be hasty and rush into this affair, until we have verified the matter. Allaah – the Most Perfect – said:
“O you who believe! When a wicked person comes to you with some news, ascertain and verify it, less you harm someone in ignorance and then afterwards regret for what you have done.” [Soorah al-Hujuraat 49:6]
Meaning: If some news reaches you about a group or party from amongst the people, concerning an action that they have done and which deserves to be fought against, then do not be hasty about the matter, nor announce war against them, nor attack them – until you have verified the authenticity of the report.”1
Imaam Muslim relates in his Saheeh (no.5):
Abu Hurayrah radiallaahu ‘anhu relates that the Prophet sallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: “It is enough to render a man a liar that he relates everything he hears.”

The concept of rejecting Hadeeth is NOW not limited to the so called "Qur’aaniyoon" only, but many youths and modernists have been affected by this concept, of merely rejecting the Hadeeth because it is beyond their comprehension.
Narrated Abu Raafi` رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ said:
❝Let me not find one of you reclining on his couch when he hears something regarding me which I have commanded or forbidden and saying: “We do not know. What we found in Allaah's Book we have followed.”❞
📚 [ Sunan Abu Dawood (4605), Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2663) and Sunan Ibn Maajah (13) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]
🌴 🌴 🌴
Narrated Al-Miqdaam رضي الله عنه:
that the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said:
❝Lo! Soon a Hadeeth from me will be conveyed to a man, while he is reclining on his couch, and he says: “Between us and you is Allaah's Book. So whatever we find in it that is lawful, we consider lawful, and whatever we find in it that is unlawful, we consider it unlawful.” Indeed whatever the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ made unlawful, it is the same as what Allaah made unlawful.❞
📚 [Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2664), Sunan Ibn Maajah (12) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]
🌟 THIS IS WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN THE IMPORTANCE OF HADEETH WHILE THEY ARE STILL YOUNG, BEFORE SUCH MISGUIDED PEOPLE APPROACH THEM.

Iblis said to Nooh : ‘There are five things that cause people to become destroyed’
‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Umar (radhi Allaahu anhuma) said:
While on the Ark, [Prophet] Nooh (‘alayhis-salam) noticed an old man whom he did not recognise. Nooh inquired: ‘What brought you here?’ He replied: ‘I came to strike the hearts of your followers, so their hearts become with me, while their bodies with you.’ Nooh responded: ‘Leave O enemy of Allah.’
Iblis said: ‘There are five things that cause people to become destroyed (deviated). I will inform you of three and not of the other two’. It was revealed to Nooh that he needed not know the three, but that he should enquire about the two.”
Iblis said: ‘The two that are certain to work are: envy: I was cursed because of my envy, and became a stoned devil. And the second is eagerness (to have more) : The entire paradise was made permissible to Adam (‘alayhis-salam) . I got what I wanted from him because of his eagerness.’
