Sh. Ibn al-'Uthaymeen:
“Whenever you will fear Allāh then trust that He will make a way out for you from every hardship.”

[رياض الصالحين]
Verification – Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan
Al-Istiqaamah Issue No.4 – Jumâdal-Awwal 1417H / November 1996

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan – hafidahullaah – relates:

“Allaah – the Majestic, the Most High – orders us to verify any news that reaches us concerning a group or party from amongst the Muslims, when an evil news reaches us which necessitates fighting or opposing this group. Allaah – the Mighty, the Most High – orders us not be hasty and rush into this affair, until we have verified the matter. Allaah – the Most Perfect – said:

“O you who believe! When a wicked person comes to you with some news, ascertain and verify it, less you harm someone in ignorance and then afterwards regret for what you have done.” [Soorah al-Hujuraat 49:6]

Meaning: If some news reaches you about a group or party from amongst the people, concerning an action that they have done and which deserves to be fought against, then do not be hasty about the matter, nor announce war against them, nor attack them – until you have verified the authenticity of the report.”1

Imaam Muslim relates in his Saheeh (no.5):
Abu Hurayrah radiallaahu ‘anhu relates that the Prophet sallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: “It is enough to render a man a liar that he relates everything he hears.”

1. Wujoobut-Tathbbat fil-Akhbaari wa Ihtiraamil-‘Ulemaa (pp.22-23).
Imām Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله would invoke Allāh saying:

“O' Allāh whomsoever from this nation is not upon the truth yet thinks he is upon the truth, then bring him back to the truth so that he becomes from the people of the truth.”

Al-Bidāyah wan-Nihāyah 10/329 | ibn Katheer رحمه الله

Translation: Authentic Quotes
The concept of rejecting Hadeeth is NOW not limited to the so called "Qur’aaniyoon" only, but many youths and modernists have been affected by this concept, of merely rejecting the Hadeeth because it is beyond their comprehension.

Narrated Abu Raafi` رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ said:
❝Let me not find one of you reclining on his couch when he hears something regarding me which I have commanded or forbidden and saying: “We do not know. What we found in Allaah's Book we have followed.”❞

📚 [ Sunan Abu Dawood (4605), Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2663) and Sunan Ibn Maajah (13) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

🌴 🌴 🌴

Narrated Al-Miqdaam رضي الله عنه:
that the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said:
❝Lo! Soon a Hadeeth from me will be conveyed to a man, while he is reclining on his couch, and he says: “Between us and you is Allaah's Book. So whatever we find in it that is lawful, we consider lawful, and whatever we find in it that is unlawful, we consider it unlawful.” Indeed whatever the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ made unlawful, it is the same as what Allaah made unlawful.❞

📚 [Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2664), Sunan Ibn Maajah (12) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

🌟 THIS IS WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN THE IMPORTANCE OF HADEETH WHILE THEY ARE STILL YOUNG, BEFORE SUCH MISGUIDED PEOPLE APPROACH THEM.
Three qualities are from sabr.

‎Sufyan ath-Thawree رحمه الله said:

‎“Three qualities are from sabr:
١ Not speaking about your misfortune;
‎٢ Not speaking about your pain;
‎٣ Not praising yourself.”

Iblis said to Nooh : ‘There are five things that cause people to become destroyed’

‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Umar (radhi Allaahu anhuma) said:

While on the Ark, [Prophet] Nooh (‘alayhis-salam) noticed an old man whom he did not recognise. Nooh inquired: ‘What brought you here?’ He replied: ‘I came to strike the hearts of your followers, so their hearts become with me, while their bodies with you.’ Nooh responded: ‘Leave O enemy of Allah.’

Iblis said: ‘There are five things that cause people to become destroyed (deviated). I will inform you of three and not of the other two’. It was revealed to Nooh that he needed not know the three, but that he should enquire about the two.”

Iblis said: ‘The two that are certain to work are: envy: I was cursed because of my envy, and became a stoned devil. And the second is eagerness (to have more) : The entire paradise was made permissible to Adam (‘alayhis-salam) . I got what I wanted from him because of his eagerness.’

Ibn Abee al-Dunya in Maka’d al-Shaytaan , 65/ 44.

Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal said:

"Intend good. As long as you intend good, you’ll always be in a state of good."

‎[اداب الشرعة ١/١٠٢]
Ibn al-Qayyim [D.752AH] [رحمه الله] stated:

❝Health is one of the most precious favours Allaah has bestowed upon His servants, the most generous of gifts, the most plentiful of His bounties. Rather, even more, [good] health is the most precious of favours without exception, so it is fitting that whoever is granted a portion of this fortune that he cherishes it, preserves it and guards it against harm…❞

Three Weak Ahaadeeth regarding Surah al-Waaqiah:

🚩1. From Ibn Mas
ood that the Prophet ﷺ said:
❝Whoever recites Surah al-Waaqiah every night would never encounter poverty.❞
📚 [Graded as “Dha
eef” (Weak) by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Dhaeefah (289). Others who graded this as Weak are al-Dhahabee, Imaam Ahmad, Ibn al-Jawzee, Abu Haatim, al-Daraqutnee, al-Manawee]

🚩2. From Ibn
Abbaas that the Prophet ﷺ said:
❝Whoever recites Surah al-Waaqiah every night would never encounter poverty, and whoever recites Surah al-Qiyaamah every night will meet Allaah (on the Day of Judgment) while his face will be (shining) like the moon when it is full.❞
📚 [Graded as “Mawdhoo
” (Fabricated) by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Dhaeefah (290). Al-Suyootee said, Ahmad al-Yamaamee (in of its narrators) is a liar]

🚩3. From Anas that the Prophet ﷺ said:
❝Whoever recites Surah al-Waaqi
ah and teaches it, will never be recorded among the negligent, and neither he nor his family will suffer poverty.❞
📚 [Graded as “Mawdhoo” (Fabricated) by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Dhaeefah (291). Al-Suyootee said, `Abdul-Quddoos (in of its narrators) is abandoned, and Ibn al-Mubaarak said that he was a liar.]
The Messenger of Allāh Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam said:

“And the superiority of a scholar over a pious worshipper is like the superiority of MOON over the rest of the stars.”

Categorized under: Seeking Knowledge

❝[We] say: It is binding upon the student of [Islaamic] knowledge to be ever looking out to correct [his] intention and make it sincere for Allaah the All-High.

And someone may say: “Does this mean that I do not seek [Islāmic] knowledge until I correct my intention?!”

I say: No, seek [Islaamic] knowledge and during your seeking, keep checking on yourself and work on fixing yourself in this issue of having correct intentions.

Then if he were to say: “I want to leave seeking knowledge until I correct my intention.”

I say: This is a satanic ploy. He has opened up a door for you from the doors to goodness while he wants to turn you away from that which is better and more deserving [of your efforts]; because of that, continue seeking knowledge and work on fixing yourself, since your knowledge will certainly show you the right way, if Allaah wills, to making the intention sincere for Allaah the All-High.

And the Salaf used to say:

We used to seek knowledge for other than Allaah; then [knowledge] refused that [it] be for other than Allaah.❞

[Bāzmūl, Muḥammad ibn ʿUmar. Al-Manhajiyyah Fī Dirāsiyah al-ʿUlūm al-Sharʿiyyah. Algiers: Dār al Mīrāth al-Nabawī, 1435 H (2014 CE), (Page: 87) | Translated By Mikail ibn Mahboob Ariff]
On the authority of Abu Huraira who said that the Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] said:

❝A believer is not corrupt, his inner-self does not differ with his outer-self [i.e. what you see is what you get] and he is easy going. An evil person is one who spreads corruption between people and has evil behaviour.❞

Honouring and Dishonouring Oneself

It is reported that Yaḥyā b. Abī Kathīr – Allāh have mercy on him – said:

It used to be said, “People have never honoured themselves with anything [better] than the obedience of Allāh, and they have never dishonoured themselves with anything [worse] than disobedience to Allāh.”

Ibn Abī Al-Dunyā, Muḥāsabatu Al-Nafs article 98.
