The Disease of this Ummah and its Doctor
It is reported that Sufyân Al-Thawrî – Allâh have mercy on him – said, “Wealth is the disease of this Ummah, and the scholar is the doctor of this Ummah. So if the doctor brings the disease to himself, how will he cure the people?”

Types of Jinn Possession and Effects Upon Humans:
1. A total possession:
A Jinn possesses the whole body of a person, such as the one who suffers from seizures.
2. A partial possession:
A Jinn possesses one particular organ of the body, such as an arm, leg or tongue.
3. Constant possession:
A Jinn possesses the body for a long period of time.
4. Temporary possession:
Which lasts no more than a few minutes, like a nightmare. [1]
The Jinn Effects:
SPIRITUAL - The Jinn effect a person spiritually. Their ultimate goal is to take a person away from Allah and outside of Islam. They achieve this through making a person lazy to perform salah, until they leave it. Difficult to recite Qur'an, until they stop it. Unmotivated to study Islam, until they abandon it. Slowly taking a toll on the person's eeman (faith), until they destroy it.
PSYCHOLOGICAL - The Jinn effect a person psychologically. Whether it is for revenge, sent through Magic or out of love, their objective is to fulfill their task and desires. They achieve this through getting to the person's heart and into their minds. Through waswaas they can cause severe mood swings leading to depression, anxiety, anger as well as extreme lust and lewd behavior. This taking a toll on the person's life until it is destroyed.
PHYSICAL - The Jinn effect a person physically just as they effect psychologically. Being afflicted in the heart and mind has a direct effect on the physical state and health of a person. Jinn can cause medical illnesses, unexplained pains and bruises as well as sexual abuse by possessing and living inside of a person. This taking a toll on the person's overall well being and health until it is destroyed.

Ash-Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymīn- may Allāh have mercy on him- said:
"كلما كان الإنسان في عبادته أخلص لله كان أجره أكثر،
“The more a person is sincere to Allāh the more is his reward,
وكلما كان الإنسان في عبادته أتبع للرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم كانت عبادته أكمل وثوابه أكثر،
And every time a person follows the Messenger ﷺ in his worship the more complete his worship is and the more his recompense,
فالتفاوت يكون بحسب الإخلاص لله والمتابعة لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم."

Sh. Ibn 'Uthaymeen Raḥimahullāh said in its explanation: “.. When soul (Rūḥ) exits the body it is witnessed by the dead body, the soul has a shape or figure however it is not seen by the people except for the one who is dying or the angels.”

SHAYKH AL-ALBAANEE RAHIMAHULLAH; “THAT WHICH DESCRIBES A WOMAN WHEN SHE IS ALIVE IS WORSE AND WORSE! ‘…
Faatimah the daughter of RASULULLAH said:
‘O Asmaa’, I am repulsed by what is done to the women – at the time of death – when they lay a piece of cloth over the woman that describes her shape.”
Asmaa’ responded: “O daughter of the Messenger of Allaah; should I not show you something that I saw done in Abyssinia?” So she called for some palm branches of clover and then after dying it, laid the cloth upon Faatimah.
Faatimah exclaimed, “How nice and beautiful! It distinguishes the woman from the man (i.e. it does not describe the body shape). When I die, I want you and ‘Alee to wash me and do not allow anyone else to enter.”
[It was related by Aboo Nu’aym in al-Hilyah and by al-Bayhaqee.]
SubhaanAllah. she was worried about her body shape being exposed upon her death. How about you and I?
Now look at Faatimah the daughter of the Messenger of Allaah (salAllaahu alaiyhi wa sallam) how she disliked and found it shameful that the clothing of the dead woman describes the (dead) woman’s body!
Therefore, there is no doubt that which describes a woman when she is alive is worse and worse! So let the Muslim women of today ponder and think on this. The Muslim women of today who dress up in tight clothing which describes her breasts, her waist, her buttocks, her legs and other body parts. Then (let the women) seek forgiveness of Allaah ta’aalaa (the Exalted) and repent to Him.”

HOW DO YOU EXPECT YOUR DUAS TO BE ANSWERED WHEN YOUR CLOTHES, FOOD & EARNINGS ARE UNLAWFUL (HARAM) ?
•Abû Hurayrah (RA) narrated that the Prophetﷺ said:
“O People! Allaah is al-Tayyib (Pure), And He only accepts that which is pure!” Heﷺ then mentioned the parable of a traveller on a long journey, who is dishevelled & dusty, and he stretches forth his hands to the sky, praying.
"O my Lord! O my Lord!" Yet, his FOOD is unlawful, his DRINK is unlawful, his CLOTHING is unlawful, And his EARNINGS were obtained unlawfully; HOW DOES HE EXPECT HIS DU’AS TO BE ANSWERED ?”

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said:
The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
“Allah has taken away your pride of Jaahiliyyah (ignorance) and your boasting about your forefathers. One is only a righteous believer or a doomed evildoer. You are the sons of Adam and Adam was created from dust. Men should stop boasting about their forefathers, who are no more than the coal of Hell, or they will certainly be more insignificant before Allah than the beetle that rolls dung with its nose.”
