"Eat together and do not eat separately, for the blessing is in being together.”

Imaam Ahmad said:

“Do not follow my opinion; neither follow the opinion of Maalik, nor Shaafi’i, nor Awzaa’i, nor Thawri, but take from where they took.” [Ibn al-Qayyim in I’laam, 2/302]
KNOWLEDGE IS NOT BASED ON A LOT OF NARRATING AND SPEECH RATHER ITS A LIGHT PLACE IN THE HEART OF THE SERVANT

” Indeed many of those from the later times have been tested with this, thinking that whoever’s speech, arguments, and conflicts are the most in matters of the religion, then he is more knowledgable than one who is not as such and this is pure ignorance. Look at the major companions and their scholars such as Abu Bakr, Umar, Ali, Mu’aadh, Ibn Mas’ud and Zaid bin Thaabit and how they were. Their speech was less than Ibn Abbaas and they were more knowledgable than him. Also the speech of the students of the companions were more than that of the companions and the companions were more knowledgable than them. Therefore knowledge is not (based on) a lot of narrating and speech, rather it is a light that is placed in the heart by which the servant understands the truth and distinguishes between the truth and falsehood. [The servant] expresses [this knowledge] by way of short expressions that reach the [desired] goals.”

A believer who doesn’t recite the Qur'an is like a date- no smell but has a taste. This means he has faith
but he doesn’t recite the Qur’an.
_
Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
said:
_
The believer who recites the Qur'an is like a citron whose fragrance is sweet and whose taste is delicious. A believer who does not recite the Qur'an is like a date-fruit which has no fragrance but
has a sweet taste. The hypocrite who recites the Qur'an is like basil whose fragrance is so sweet, but
its taste is bitter. The hypocrite who does not recite the Qur'an is like a colocynth which has no fragrance and its taste is bitter.”

“Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer – We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward according to the best of what they used to do.” [16:97]

Imam ibn Kathir, in his famous book of tafsir explains:

“This is a promise from Allah to whoever does righteous deeds – which are actions in accordance with the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet – whether the doer be male of female from the Children of Adam – and his/her heart is a believer in Allah and His Messenger – and so long as these deeds are from Allah’s Divinely Legislated commands, then this is a promise that Allah cause him to live a good life in this dunya and that He will reward him in the next life according to the best of what he/she used to do.

“And the good life includes all sorts of comforts/ease. And it has been narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas and a group of exegetes that they explained it as good and lawful provisions.”

Sahih Al Bukhari

Volume 8, Book 73, Number 196:
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
The Prophet said, 'For every betrayer (perfidious person), a flag will be raised on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be announced (publicly) 'This is the betrayal (perfidy) of so-and-so, the son of so-and-so.' '

How civilizations are destroyed?

In our age, three means are being utilized to bring the downfall of the Ummah.

1. Attacking the family structure.
2. Attacking the education.
3. Replacing the role models.

☆☆☆

🌟1. Attacking the family structure:
In order to attack the family structure they are clouding the role and the importance of motherhood in the upbringing and welfare of the family. Making the woman feel ashamed of her role as a housewife and a caretaker.

Whereas the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
《...a woman is the Guardian of her husband's house and is responsible for it...》 [Saheehain]

☆☆☆

🌟2. Attacking the education:
In order to corrupt the education, they are attacking the teachers; not giving them importance in the society, and lowering them from their status to the extent that even the students look down upon them.

Whoever mocks the teacher has mocked the knowledge that the teacher has.

☆☆☆

🌟3. Replacing the role models:
In order to overthrow the role models (the Salaf), they are attacking the scholars; speaking bad about them; disrespecting and dishonoring them; creating doubts about them so that no one is there who listens to them or follows them.

The situation is so bad that many people cannot distinguish between a scholar and a celebrity speaker. Whereas the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

《The scholars are the heirs of the Prophets, for the Prophets did not leave behind Dinar or Dirham, rather they left behind knowledge, so whoever takes it has taken a great share.》

Real Men
🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
It is reported that ‘Umar b. Al-Khattāb – Allāh be pleased with him – said:
Do not be impressed by the twitter of an individual. But one who fulfils his duty and trust, and refrains from [transgressing against] the honor of people is the real man.

Al-Bayhaqī, Al-Sunan Al-Kubrā article 12345.
A man said to Hasan Al-Basri:
هوِّن عليك يا هذا، فإني أطمعت نفسي في الجنان فطمعت، وأطمعتها في النجاة من النار فطمعت، وأطمعتها في السلامة من الناس فلم أجد إلى ذلك سبيلاً، فإن الناس لم يرضوا عن خالقهم ورازقهم، فكيف يرضون عن مخلوق مثلهم
‘The people sit around you so that they may find fault with you!’ So he said, ‘I encouraged my soul to aspire for Paradise so it aspired for it. Then I encouraged it to aspire for salvation from Hellfire and so it aspired for it. Then I encouraged it to aspire for salvation from the people, but I didn’t find a way to that. People were not pleased with their Creator although He provides for them, so how can they be pleased with another creation like themselves?’
["Al-Bidaya wal-Nihaya", 9/318].
‼️One of the most beloved qualities of good character to Allah is kindness and gentleness. Allah has reserved a special reward for those who are kind and gentle‼️

💠Ibn Mas’ud (Rady'Allahu anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said :

💠 “Shall I not tell you for whom the Hellfire is forbidden? It is every person accessible, polite, and kind.”

THE STUDENT OF KNOWLEDGE IS THE FURTHEST FROM CHASING AFTER MONEY

With regards to the student of knowledge knowing the true status of money, Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al ‘Uthaymeen rahimahullaah comments:

Then indeed I say to you – if you were to say to your brother asSalaamu alaikum how much (reward) would you attain? Ten good deeds – along with friendship and love and affection and an opening up of the chest and a smile on the face.

What is your opinion about if it were said to one of you, “If you give salaam to your brother, we will give you one dirham?” Would you give the salaam?

The answer: yes, you would give the salaam and maybe you would return in order to give salaam a second time – for the sake of (another) one dirham. Yet what is its (the money’s) end destination?

Indeed its end destination is the toilet – for the greatest pleasure which the person takes delight in is food and drink. And what is the end destination of the food and drink? The toilet.

Therefore Shaykh ul Islaam ibn Taymiyyah rahimahullaah said:

It is befitting for the person who has intellect that he deems wealth to have the station of a donkey which he rides on or the station of the toilet in which he answers his call of nature.

And this is the position (adopted) by those who have awareness and knowledge.

Quoted in Wasaayaa wa tawjeehaat li tullaab il ‘ilm pages 183 to 184, translated by Nasser ibn Najam.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Fasting in the winter is the easy prize”. (❶)

Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali (‎رحمه الله) commented:

“And the meaning of it being an easy prize is that it is a prize obtained without any battle or effort or hardship. So, the owner of this prize has been given it as a favor without any effort on his part.“

He also mentioned, “Winter is the best season for the believer because Allāh strengthens his practice in it by making worship easy for him.

This is because in winter, the believer can fast during the day with ease without suffering from hunger and thirst. The days are short and cold, and he therefore doesn’t feel the hardship of fasting.

As for praying at night in the winter due to its long nights, one can have his share of sleep and then get up to pray afterwards and recite all that he usually recites of the Qur’an while he has had enough sleep.

So, he can combine between the sleep that he needs and the usual amount of recitation of the Qur’an that he completes in a day. So, he fulfills the interests of both his religion and the comfort of his body.” (❷)

❶ - It was reported by Ahmad (4/335) with a chain authenticated by al-Albani in ‘as-Silsilah as-Sahihah’ (1922).

Guarantee Of Paradise By Prophet (Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam) For Promising And Fulfilling 6 Deeds 👇

The Messenger of Allāh Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam said: “Guarantee me six things in yourselves and I will guarantee you Jannah;

• Be truthful when you speak
• And fulfill your (pledge) when you make a promise
• And pay (in full) when you are entrusted
• And protect your private parts
• And lower your gaze
• And hold your hands back from touching (what's unlawful).”

Your Entire Day Heart touching.

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said

When a person spends his entire day with no other concern but Allah alone, Allah, may He be glorified, will take care of all his needs and take care of all that is worrying him; He will empty his heart so that it will be filled only with love for Him, free his tongue so that it will speak only in remembrance of Him (dhikr) and cause all his faculties to work only in obedience to Him. But if a person spends his entire day with no other concern but this world, Allah will make him bear its distress, anxiety and pain; He will leave him to sort himself out, and cause his heart to be distracted from the love of Allah towards the love of some created being, cause his tongue to speak only in remembering people instead of remembering Allah, and cause him to use his talents and energy in obeying and serving them. So he will strive hard, labouring like some work-animal, to serve something other than Allah… Everyone who turns away from being a true slave of Allah and obeying Him and loving Him will be burdened with servitude, love and obedience to some created being.

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): ‘And whosoever turns away (blinds himself) from the remembrance of the Most Beneficent (Allah), We appoint for him a shaytaan (devil) to be a qareen (intimate companion) to him.’

I like to share an short advice for benefit purposes, that Sh. Abder-Rahman Muhyi ud-Deen حفظه الله gave me when I asked him a question regarding seeking knowledge.

His advice: 'Be diligent and don't sleep, for indeed an abundance of sleeping and over-eating leads to laziness and being unsuccesful and then you won't be a student of knowledge, and increase in supplication and repentance'

If the person knew the status of knowledge, he wouldn't sleep.
