Al-Layth bin Sa'd (d. 175H) said:

"If I saw a person of desires (i.e. innovations) walking upon the water I would not accept from him." So Imaam as-Shaafi'ee then said: "He (al-Layth) has fallen short. If I saw him walking in the air I would not accept from him."

Reported by as-Suyooti in al-Amr bil 'Ittibaa wan-Nahee anil Ibtidaa'.

Al-Fudayl bin 'Iyaad said:

"If a man comes to a person to consult him and he directs him to an innovator, then he has made a deception of Islaam. Beware of going to a person of innovation for they divert [people] from the truth."

Sharh Usool ul-I'tiqaad of al-Laalikaa'ee (no.261)
Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (Rahimahullah) said:

Anger is like a lion; if it’s owner sets it free it will eat him. Desire is like a fire; if it’s owner starts it, it will burn him. Pride is like fighting against a king to take his Kingdom, if it does not destroy you it will expel you, and envy is like showing enmity to one who is more powerful than you. Whoever overcomes his desire and anger, Satan will depart from him, and whoever’s desire and anger beat him, Satan will stick to him.

[al-Fawaa'id, pg. 267]
Allah تعالى said,

"And said one of them (the two women): "O my father! Hire him! Verily, the best of men for you to hire is the strong, the trustworthy." {Surah Al-Qasas, 28:26}

Shaykh ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said,

"Inefficiency at work is the result of a deficiency in one of the two attributes: strength and trustworthiness."

Ali on fear, hope, knowledge and patience

It is reported that ‘Alî b. Abî Tâlib – Allâh be pleased with him – said,

“The servant [of Allâh] should not FEAR except his sins, and should not HOPE except in his Lord.

The ignorant should not be ashamed to ask, and the knowledgeable should not be ashamed to say – if he does not know something – ‘Allâh knows best.’

Patience (al-sabr) to faith (Al-Îmân) is like the head to the rest of the body: if the head is cut off, the body will rot.☝🏼

And one who has no patience, has no faith".

⚠️Dangers Of Not Forbidding Evil‼️

Allah ﷻ cursed the disbelievers among the Children of Israel because:

•••كَانُوا لَا يَتَنَاهَوْنَ عَنْ مُنْكَرٍ فَعَلُوهُ ۚ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ•••
They used not to forbid one another from the Munkar (wrong, evil-doing, sins, polytheism, disbelief, etc.) which they committed. Vile indeed was what they used to do. [Surah Al-Ma'idah:79]

Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:

“By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! Either you command good and forbid evil, or Allah will soon send upon you a punishment from Him, then you will call upon Him, but He will not respond to you.”

[Jami'at-Tirmidhi 2169]
🔹Having Taqwa of Allaah Leads to Removal of Difficulty and Provision (Rizq) From Unimagined Sources:

Allaah, the Sublime and Exalted, said:

وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُ مَخْرَجًا وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ
And whoever has taqwa of Allaah, He will provide for Him a way out (of difficulty) and will provide him through (ways and means) he could not imagine (al-Talaq 65:2-3)

Note: Ibn Katheer: Whoever had taqwa of Allaah in what He commanded and abandoned what He prohibited, He will make for him a way out (of his difficulty) and will provide him through a direction that he had never thought of. Al-Baghawi: Abu al-Aaliyah said, "A way out of every severity" and al-Rabee' bin al-Khaytham said, "From everything that (causes) hardship upon people."

Beware of Boasting
Beware of self-amazement, it is self-amazement that causes people to become arrogant and haughty. It is a reason for many rejecting the truth. We must seek Allaah's protection from it.

Do not feel sad and lonesome due to small number of its people.

“The DEAREST of PRAYER to Allah is the prayer of DAWOOD عليه السّلام.

He used to SLEEP for HALF the NIGHT, get up and pray for one THIRD of it, and SLEEP for one SIXTH of it, and he used to FAST one DAY and not the NEXT.”

[AL-BUKHAARI 1131 & MUSLIM 1159]

INTERPRETATION:

SLEEP 1/2
PRAY 1/3
SLEEP again 1/6

1/2 + 1/3 + 1/6 = 1
🔹Narrated 'Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The young should greet the old, the passer by should greet the sitting one, and the small group of persons should greet the large group of persons. "

Allah Wrongs Not Even the Weight of a Speck of Dust – Tafseer Ibn Katheer

Surely! Allah wrongs not even of the weight of a speck of dust, but if there is any good (done), He doubles it, and gives from Him a great reward. (Surah An-Nisa , aayah 40)

Allah states that He does not treat any of His servants with injustice on the Day of Resurrection, be it the weight of a mustard seed or a speck of dust. Rather, Allah shall reward them for this action and multiply it, if it were a good deed. For instance, Allah said,

(And We shall set up balances of justice)Allah said that Luqman said,

(O my son! If it be (anything) equal to the weight of a mustard seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth). Allah said,

(That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. So whosoever does good equal to the weight of a speck of dust shall see it. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of a speck of dust shall see it.) The Two Sahihs recorded the long Hadith about the intercession that Abu Said Al-Khudri narrated, and in which the Messenger of Allah said,

(Allah then says, “Go back, and take out of the Fire everyone in whose heart you find the weight of a mustard seed of faith”) In another narration, Allah says,

(“Whosoever had the least, least, least speck of faith, take him out of the Fire,” and they will take out many people.)Abu Said then said, “Read, if you will,

(Surely! Allah wrongs not even of the weight of a speck of dust).”

One Should Not Poke His [or Her] Nose In People’s Business!

It is forbidden for a person to just come and sit with a person who is talking to another person because it may be that they are engaged in a private conversation. The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said, “Whoever listens to the talk of some people who do not like him (to listen) or they run away from him, then molten lead will be poured into his ears on the Day of Resurrection. [Sahih Al-Bukhaari Number 7042]. This is a severe threat, so one should not listen to the speech of the people if they do not want anyone to know what they are talking about.
