Some souls...

Ā'ishah (may Allāh be pleased with her) narrated that she heard the Prophet ﷺ saying:

"الأَرْوَاحُ جُنُودٌ مُجَنَّدَةٌ فَمَا تَعَارَفَ مِنْهَا ائْتَلَفَ وَمَا تَنَاكَرَ مِنْهَا اخْتَلَفَ."

"Souls are like connoscripted soldiers; those they recognise, they get along with, and those they do not recognise, they will not get along with."

[Reported by al-Bukhāri]
It is proven in at-Tirmidhi (1918) that Sahl ibn Sa‘d (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “I and the one who sponsors an orphan will be in Paradise like these two,” and he gestured with his two fingers, meaning the forefinger and the middle finger.

The Various Types of Students of Knowledge

Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī (حفظه الله) said:
Therefore, the student of knowledge is of three [types]: the beginner, the intermediate and the advanced.

As for the beginner, then he is the one who just begun seeking [knowledge] and [so,] he does not know the fundamentals.

[As for] the intermediary [student], then he is the one who knows the fundamentals but he is deficient in knowing how to [use the evidences to] infer/deduce [i.e. to come to a verdict that something is ḥalāl or ḥarām or other than that].

[As for] the advanced [student], then he is the one who knows the fundamentals and he knows [fully] how to [use the evidences to] infer/deduce [i.e. to come to a verdict that something is ḥalāl or ḥarām or other than that].

THE BELIEVER THINKS BEFORE THEY SPEAK
It is reported that Al-Hasan Al-Basrî – Allâh have mercy on him – said:

The intelligent person’s tongue is behind his heart: when he wants to speak, he first thinks. If [his words] will be in his favor, he says them, and if they will be against him, he does not speak. And the ignorant person’s heart is behind his tongue: when he merely thinks of saying something, he says it, whether it is for or against him.

He explained, "I kept these body parts away from disobedience in my youth, so Allah preserved them for me in my old age."

...The danger of Speaking without Knowledge.

’Uqbah bin Muslim said: For 34 years I kept Ibn ’Umar’s company and he used to often say ”I don’t know” (when he was asked about anything).

Where upon he would turn towards me and say: ”Do you know what these people want? They want to make our backs bridges into the Hellfire (by speaking about Islam without knowledge)!

The Prophet said,

“Do not say I am better than Moosaa, for humanity will faint on the Day of Resurrection and I will be the first to recover. Moosaa at that time will be holding the side of the Throne. I do not know if he would faint and recover before me, or if Allaah will make an exception for him.”

In another narration, the Prophet said, “Do not make the prophets better than one another.”

Treatment with Hijamah (cupping) and Doctors’ Denial of its Effectiveness:

Treatment with Hijamah versus medical denial.

Treatment with Hijamah (cupping) and doctors’ denial of its effectiveness: ● Hijamah has great effect on health. It is stated in the Hadith of Isra’ (Night Journey): “Whenever the Prophet (peace be upon him) passed by a host of angels they would instruct him to command his Ummah (the Muslim nation) to use Hijamah”. There are waste products that remain in the blood from substances circulated and secreted throughout the body. Unless such waste products are gradually cleared little by little, they would cause great harm to people risking their lives. Since the human body continuously produces substances that are surplus to its requirements, Hijamah has been introduced. Yet, doctors see it ineffective, and this is not strange, for they lack great deal of knowledge about many matters.

It is fair to give each person their right, and doctors should be given their due rights relating to their profession. Yet treatment of diseases is beyond comprehension and restriction, and doctors are not experienced in a lot of methods outside their area of specialization. Allah (Exalted be He) says: And of knowledge, you (mankind) have been given only a little. (Surah Al-Isra’, 17: 85) Doctors often deny particular matters prescribed by Shariah (Islamic law) due to their great ignorance of their effectiveness. This is because many of them are westernized, have studied under western teachers, or they mainly derive their knowledge from western sources of knowledge.

Their denial of many of the matters prescribed by Shari
ah is not, however, based on scientific principles, but rather a blind pursuance of those who deny prophethood and imperceptible matters such as existence of Jinn (creatures created from fire) and the effect of the envious eye. For instance, they diagnose possession by Jinn as nervous disorders.
