|| PrRoTeCt YOUR Good Deed!!! ||

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
The things that spoil and cancel out good deeds are too MANY to list. What matters is NOT the deed; what matters is PROTECTING the deed from that which would spoil it and cancel it out. End quote.

[Al-Waabil al-Sayyib (p. 20)]
Masjid Us-Sunnah Twitter:

Shaykh ʿUthaymīn:
“Strive to keep company with good people. They show you the right way if you err & guide you if you are misled. They remind you if you forget & teach you if you don't know. All of these are from the factors which causes īmān to increase.”

#Hijama is linguistically derived from the word “Hajm” which gives the meaning sucking and known in English as #Cupping_Therapy.

Hijama (Cupping Therapy) is among the #Prophetic_Medicines where the Prophet SallallahuAlaihiWasallam mentioned it as

“If there is any good in any of the remedies you use, it is in cupping.”
(760, Silsilathus Sahihah of Al-Albani )

And He SallallahuAlaihiWasallam further said

“I did not pass the night of Isra by the angels except they said ‘O Muhammed, order your nation with cupping.”
(2802, Sahih Sunan Ibn Majah of Al-Albani)

Which shows the importance and the virtue of this #medication which the Prophet SallallahuAlaihiWasallam practiced during his lifetime.

And he SallallahuAlaihiWasallam said

Whoever cups on the Seventeenth, Nineteenth or Twenty First, it will be a cure from all the diseases.
(Silsilathus Sahihah of Al-Albani 622)

And also he SallallahuAlaihiWasallam ordered to avoid doing it on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as in the Hadith

‘Cupping on an empty stomach is better, and in it there is healing and blessing, and it increases one’s intellect and memory. So have yourselves cupped for the blessing of Allah on Thursdays, and avoid cupping on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Have yourselves cupped on Mondays and Tuesdays, for that is the day on which Allah relieved Ayyub of Calamity, and He inflicted calamity upon him on a Wednesday, and leprosy and leucoderma only appear on Wednesdays, or on the night of Wednesday.”
(3169, Sahih Al-Jami’ of Al-Albani)

Hijama (Cupping) is the process of applying cups to the essential points on the body removing the air around making it a vacuum.

From among the most common three methods are Wet, Dry and Dry Massage.

Wet Cupping (Hijama) – is the process where small incisions are made on that certain points on the skin to remove the ‘impure/harmful’ blood which lies just beneath the surface of the skin. And this is the highly recommended method in terms of following the Sunnah and where the cure is as per the Hadith
“the cure is in three things ‘drinking of honey, cuts of the cupping’…”
(5680, Sahih Al-Bukhari)

Dry Cupping (Hijama) – is the process just to gather the blood on that certain points without incisions.

Dry Massage Cupping (Hijama) – is the process similar to Dry Cupping but olive oil is applied pre-hand before it is cupped to massage with the movement of the cups.

As for Dry Cupping and Dry Massage cupping, they fall under the general mode and can be practised on any day at any time, there are no restrictions as the wet cupping is the one known to be among the Sunnah and which falls under the restrictions.

[A Summary on Hijama _ The Prophetic Medicine]
From Anas – RadhiAllaahu anhu –
who said:
‘A Bedouin came to the Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – and said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah! Teach me some goodness.’

So the Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – took him by the hand and said:

” قل: سبحان الله، والحمد لله، ولا إله إلا الله، والله أكبر.

‘Say: ‘Far is Allaah from imperfection, and all praise be to Allaah, and there is none worthy of worship in truth except Allaah, and Allaah is the Greatest.’

(Subhana Allaahi, wal hamdu lillaahi, wa la illaah ila Allaah, wa Allaahu Akbar.)’

The Bedouin counted them on his hand, when he finished he began to reflect then came back to the Prophet.

The Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – smiled and said:

‘The desperate one has reflected.’

Then the Bedouin came and said:

‘O Messenger of Allaah! ‘Far is Allaah from imperfection, and all praise be to Allaah, and there is none worthy of worship in truth except Allaah, and Allaah is the Greatest.’ This is for Allaah, what is for me?’

The Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – said:

اللهم اغفر لي وارحمني وعافني وارزقني واهدني

‘Say: O Allaah forgive me, and have mercy on me, and pardon me, and provide for me, and guide me.’

The Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – said to him:

‘O Bedouin! If you say: ‘SubhanAllah’, Allaah says: ‘you have spoken the truth,

If you say: ‘Alhamdulillah’, Allaah says: ‘ you have spoken the truth,

If you say: ‘La ilaha ‘illa Allaah’, Allaah says: ‘you have spoken the truth,

If you say: Allaahu Akbar, Allaah says: ‘you have spoken the truth,

If you say: O Allaah forgive me, Allaah says: I have done so,

If you say: O Allaah have mercy on me, Allaah says: I have done so,

If you say: O Allaah give me provision, Allaah says: I have done so,

Then the Bedouin counted it seven times on his fingers, then went away.’

Shaykh al-Muhaddith al-Albaani -Rahimullaah – said :

Collected by al-Bayhaqi in ‘Shuab al-Eemaan’, and this Isnaad is Jayyid (good) its narrators are trustworthy as for al-Hasan bin Tawab; then I had become exhausted searching about him until I found who he was. So I performed a Sajdah to Allaah thankful for His success and I ask Him for an increase in His excellence.’

...The danger of Speaking without Knowledge.

’Uqbah bin Muslim said: For 34 years I kept Ibn ’Umar’s company and he used to often say ”I don’t know” (when he was asked about anything).

Where upon he would turn towards me and say: ”Do you know what these people want? They want to make our backs bridges into the Hellfire (by speaking about Islam without knowledge)!

Not for gold nor silver…

Ash shaykh Al Allaamah Muqbil ibn Hadee al Wadi’ee رحمه الله said:

“Our Daw’ah and our ’Aqeedah is more beloved to us than our own selves, our wealth and our offspring. So we are not prepared to part with it for gold nor silver. We say this so that no one may have hope in buying out our Daw’ah, nor should he think that it is possible for him to purchase it from us for deenaar or dirham.”

Tarjumah Abee ’Abdur-Rahmaan Muqbil Ibn Haadee al-Waadi’ee (p. 135-142) also: (point 17 of our da’wah)
"If heart becomes attached to anything other than Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى),
Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) makes him dependent on what he is attached to. And he will be betrayed by it."

-Ibn Qayyim
🌾AdDeenul Naseehah:

Ibn Qudamah al-Maqdisi said:

“Know that not everyone is suitable to be your friend. You must verify that this potential friend has the neccessary characteristics that make friendship with him something to be desired. The one you seek to befriend must have five characteristics:

He must be intelligent, as there is no good in befriending an idiot, as he will only harm you when he wants to benefit you. By intelligent, we mean one who understands things as they are, either on his own, or if they are explained to him;

He must have good manners, and this is a must. One who is simply intelligent might be overcome by anger or desire, and obey his desire. Thus, there would be no benefit in befriending him;

He must not be a fasiq, as such a person would not fear Allah, and whoever does not fear Allah cannot be trusted;

He must not be an innovator, as his abundance of innovation is feared from befriending him;

He should not be eager for the dunya.”

['Mukhtasar Minhaj al-Qasidin'; p. 126-132]
Abdullaah Ibnul Mubaarak (rahimahullaah) said: ”From the greatest calamities for a man is that he knows of a shortcoming of his, yet he neither cares nor grieves”.

It is prohibited to throw garbage on the streets, use dust bins. Please don't cause inconvenience to others. Removing the stones or thorns from the path is a Sadqah and it is rewarding.

A HEALTHY BODY, BUT A SICK HEART – IBN MAS’OOD (ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH HIM)

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful The Bestower of Mercy

Abdullaah Bin Mas’ood (radiyallaahu-anhu) said:

‘’Indeed, you see a disbeliever with the healthiest body amongst the people and with the sickest heart; and you will come across a believer with the most upright of hearts and the unhealthiest body. I swear by Allaah, if your hearts were sick and your bodies healthy, you will be more insignificant to Allaah than dung beetles.”

Shaykh Saalih Al-Fawzaan was asked:

Who says the Intellect is given preference above textual evidence, are those who say such from the Mutazilah?

The Answer:

From amongst the Mutazilah there are Ulemaa (scholars) and they do not speak with this speech, this is the speech of the Ignorant and not an Aalim.

There will be Fitan (trials and afflictions etc.) During which a sitting person will be better than standing one.

Narrated (Abû Huraira) Radi'yallahu anha,
Allâh's Messenger Sallaahu alayhi wa Salam Said:

" There will be Fitan (trials and afflictions etc)
(in the near future) during which a sitting person will be better than a standing one, and the standing one will be better than the walking one, and the walking one will be better than the running one, and whoever will expose himself to these Fitan (trials and afflictions etc.), they will destory him. So whoever can find a place of protection or refuge from them, should take shelter in it. "
