''THE DISTANCE BETWEEN EARTH AND HEAVEN IS 500 YEARS...''!
It is narrated from Abbas bin Abdul-Muttalib رضي الله عنه that Allaah's Messenger ﷺ said:
"Do you know how much the distance between earth and heaven is?" We said, "Allaah and His Messenger know better." Then he (ﷺ) said, "The distance between them is 500 years, and the distance between one heaven to the next is 500 years, and the dimension of each heaven will take 500 years to travel, and there is a sea between the seventh heaven and the Throne which has between its lowest and highest ends the distance like that between the heavens and the earth (i.e. 500 years). And Allaah the Most Exalted is above that and nothing is secret from Him of the deeds of Bani Adam (humankind)." [Reported by Abu Dawud and others.]

"It was said that whoever does something with the intention of gaining status and prestige among people, and does not seek the Face of Allaah by doing it, Allaah will make him the subject of bad speech among the people in whose eyes he wanted to gain status, and he will have no reward for it in the Hereafter."

Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: that he heard the Prophet saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And
there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."

🎙Sufyan ibn Uyanah may Allah have mercy upon him said:
If my day is similar to the day of the foolish and my night is like the night of the ignorant, then what will I do with the knowledge I have written?!
(Manners of the Scholars by Aajoori—44)
🎓Shaykh Abdur Razzaq Al Badr: This is a tremendous admonition which the studentof knowledge must pay attention to.
This was the condition of the Salaf—may Allahhave mercy upon them—knowledge was manifest upon them in their worship, their manners, and their interactions. As Al Hassan Al Basri—may Allah have mercy uponhim said: “It was such that when a person would seek knowledge, it was soon visible in his eyesight, his humility, his tongue, his hand, his prayer, and his abstinence.”
