Summary of Islamic Jurisprudence
Calling to the Qur'an and Sunnah, upon the way of the Salaf
The #Superiority of the Mother Over the Father
Translated by: Abbas Abu Yahya
From al-Hasan that a man said to him: Indeed I made Hajj and indeed my mother has given me permission to perform another Hajj.’ So al-Hasan said: ‘To sit with her at her table is more beloved to me than your Hajj
[i.e. optional Hajj]. [Collected in ‘Mukarim al-Akhlaaq’ p.227, taken from ‘Akhbar as-Salaf’ p.270]

Shaykh Sālih al-Fawzān [حفظه الله] said:
"The individuals who ascribe themselves to [giving] Da'wah, it is mandatory that they be investigated:
• Where did they study?
• Where did they take knowledge from?
• Where were they reared?
• What are their beliefs?
• Their actions must be investigated, their effects upon the people, along with what good they have brought about.
• What rectification has their actions produced?
Their affairs must be investigated before [the people] are misled by their statements and what is apparent from them. This investigation is mandatory, especially during the present time in which the callers of Fitnah are many."

''THE DISTANCE BETWEEN EARTH AND HEAVEN IS 500 YEARS...''!
It is narrated from Abbas bin Abdul-Muttalib رضي الله عنه that Allaah's Messenger ﷺ said:
"Do you know how much the distance between earth and heaven is?" We said, "Allaah and His Messenger know better." Then he (ﷺ) said, "The distance between them is 500 years, and the distance between one heaven to the next is 500 years, and the dimension of each heaven will take 500 years to travel, and there is a sea between the seventh heaven and the Throne which has between its lowest and highest ends the distance like that between the heavens and the earth (i.e. 500 years). And Allaah the Most Exalted is above that and nothing is secret from Him of the deeds of Bani Adam (humankind)." [Reported by Abu Dawud and others.]

INSINCERITY DOES NOT GO UNEXPOSED
"It was said that whoever does something with the intention of gaining status and prestige among people, and does not seek the Face of Allaah by doing it, Allaah will make him the subject of bad speech among the people in whose eyes he wanted to gain status, and he will have no reward for it in the Hereafter."
~ Ibn Hajar رحمهالله

"Whoever speaks often, errs often; the more often one errs, the less modesty will he posses; and whoever has a low level of modesty will also have a low level of piety; and when one has a low level of piety, then his heart dies."

Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: that he heard the Prophet saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And
there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."
