Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: "What can my enemies do to me? I have in my breast both my heaven and my garden. If I travel they are with me, never leaving me. Imprisonment for me is a chance to be alone with my Lord. To be killed is martyrdom and to be exiled from my land is a spiritual journey."

Surahs the messenger would recite before sleep
Upon the authority of Irbaadh ibn Saariyah – Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu – that The prophet – Sallallahu alaihi wa Salam – did not used to sleep until he recited the’Musabihaat’ (A reference to the surahs that begin with ‘Sabbaha lillah..’ or ‘Yusabihu Lillah..’ or ‘Subhaan..’ or ‘Sabihi…’ and they are seven surahs: Suratul Israa, Suratul Hadeed, Suratul Hasr, Suratus Saff, Suratul Jumu’ah’, ‘Suratut Taghaabun, Suratul A’laa) and he used to say ‘In them is an Ayah that is better than a thousand verses!’
(Collected by At Tirmidhi (3406) and declared ‘Hasan’ By Shaikh Al Albaani – Rahimahullah)
Upon the authority of Naufal Al Ashja’i – Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu – who said that the prophet – Sallallahu ‘alahi was Salaam – said to Naufal: “Read ‘Qul Yaa Aiyuhal Kaafiroon’then sleep when you have completed it for indeed it is a safeguard and freedom from shirk.”
(Collected by Abu Daawood( 5055) and declared Saheeh by sheikh Al Albaani)
Upon the authority of Aisha – Radhiyallahu ‘anhaa – who said: “The prophet – Sallallahu alaihi wa Salam did not used to sleep until he recited: (Suratut) Az Zumar and (Surat)Bani Israa’eel (i.e Suratul Israa)."

Why People Invent Bid’ah
Mu’âdh b. Jabal – Allâh be pleased with him – used to say:
Ahead of you are times of trials (fitan) in which there will be much wealth and in which the Qur’ân will be opened and taken (read) by believers and hypocrites, men and women, young and old and freemen and slaves. At that time it is likely that there will be people who will say, “Why aren’t the people following me when I have read the Qur’ân? They will not follow me until I invent something else.” So, beware of everything that is innovated (in religion), for those things that are innovated are misguidance.
Ibn Waddâh, Al-Bida’ p62, Al-Lâlakâ`î, Sharh Usûl I’tiqâd Ahl –Al-Sunnah wa Al-Jamâ’ah Vol. 1 p125 and others 🕋

The clothing of a woman depicts her upbringing by her father, the sense of honour (ghayrah) of her brother, the manliness of her husband, her keenness to emulate her mother and above all, her conciousness of Allah watching her.
This is why they said to Maryam (RA):
_O sister of Haaroon, your father was not an evil man and your mother was not a loose woman._ (Quran )
They reminded her of her brother, father and mother. If these people are upright, she will also be upright.
A pious person said, "Revealing clothes on a woman is a sign that Allah is angry with her, as He removed the clothing of Adam and Hawwaa (as) when He was displeased with them."
A young girl says, "When I see a young female exposing and revealing herself, I look at her parents and think of the verse:
_Stop them, indeed they will be questioned_. This causes me to have even more modesty so that my mother should not be questioned."
Most of that which Allah made impermissible in this world will be allowed in Jannah, e.g. wine. One thing that is not allowed here and there is nakedness.
In fact, a great bounty [of Jannah] is to be properly covered. Describing Jannah, Allah says:
_You will not be hungry in it [Jannah] nor will you be unclothed_

🌸Ruling on lavishness in funerals
Q: What is the ruling on lavishness in funerals? The bereaved family serve banquets for those who come to offer condolences. There are also some customs that have spread, such as holding a ceremony for people to come and offer condolences again on the third, eighth, and fortieth days after the death of a person.
A: This is baseless; it is a Bidah (innovation in religion), Munkar (that which is unacceptable or disapproved of by Islamic law and Muslims of sound intellect), and an act of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic time of ignorance). It is impermissible to serve food for the people who come to offer condolences, neither on the first, third, fourth, fortieth day or on any other day after the person's death. All these acts are groundless Bidah and practices of Jahiliyyah.
Instead, the bereaved family should praise Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He), be patient, thank Him for His Decree, and ask Him to help them bear the suffering. They should not make food for the people who come to offer condolences.
One of the great Sahabah (Companions of the Prophet), Jarir Ibn Abdullah Al-Bajaly (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We used to consider sitting with the family of the deceased and making food for condolers after burial as a sort of wailing. (Related by Imam Ahmad with a good Isnad [chain of narration]) The Sahabah considered wailing Haram (prohibited), as the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade it. However, it is permissible for the relatives and neighbors to send them food, as they are too grieved to think of cooking. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) was told of the death of Jafar ibn Abu Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) in the Battle of Mu'tah in Jordan, he (peace be upon him) asked his family to send food to the family of Ja`far, as "they were too grieved then." The bereaved family should not serve food for other people, neither on the first, third, fourth, tenth day, nor on any other day.
There is no harm in cooking for themselves or for their guests. What is prohibited is to gather people and serve them meals, the act which contradicts the Sunnah (whatever is reported from the Prophet).
