🍀Fenugreek is one of the oldest cultivated medicinal plants native to southern Europe and Asia. The name itself has an exotic ring, and it should, as widely traveled as it is. A very popular plant grown throughout Mediterranean regions, Argentina, North Africa, France, India, and the U.S.
🍀Hulbah (Fenugreek) is hot in the second degree and dry in the first degree.
📕There are different Ahaadith supporting the importance and unlimited uses of fenugreek.
_Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam was reported to have visited Sa'ad bin Abi Waqqas Radi Allaho Anh once when he was ill while in Makkah and he asked that a doctor be brought to examine him. They brought Harith bin Kaladah who examined him and said, ‘There is no harm with him, just cook some fenugreek with dates and let him eat them. Sa'ad was reported to have done that and was then healed._
*(Reported by Ibn Majah)*
📕In another hadith, it was reported by Qasim bin Abdul Rahman that Prophet Muhammad Salallaho Alaihe Wasallam said : _*"Seek the Shifa (healing) with Hulbah".*_ (Muslim)
🍀Some doctors stated, "If the people had knowledge of its benefits, they would buy it with its weight worth of gold".
*BENEFICIAL IMPORTANCE OF HULBAT*
🍀When fenugreek seeds are cooked in water, they will soften the throat, chest and the stomach.

🍀 _It also relieves flatulence, phlegm, piles and the various accumulations in intestines._
🍀Fenugreek seed dissolves the phlegm from the chest and helps against gastric ulcer and lung diseases.
🍀 _Hulbah is used to heal the intestines, mixed with some *ghee* and *Faloodah*. (Two prophetic drugs which will be treated in our subsequent treatises in sha Allah)_
🍀 *When five measures of fenugreek are taken as a drink, it will increase the flow of menstruation.*
🍀 when it is cooked and the hair is washed with it, it will make it curly and will combat dandruff.
🍀 _When the flour of the fenugreek seeds is blended with some vinegar and used as a bandage on the tumor of spleen, it will dissolve it._
🍀 *In addition, the woman who suffers from pain in the vagina due to a tumor will benefit if she sits in the water in which the fenugreek was cooked.*
🍀 _When it is used as a bandage and placed on hard / cold tumors, it will help dissolve these tumors. When its water is drunk, it will help against the pain in the stomach that results from accumulation of gaseous materials and will cleanse the intestines._
🍀When one eats the Hulbah cooked in honey, dates or figs on an empty stomach, it will dissolve the phlegm that accumulates in the chest and stomach, and will help against coughing that accompanies such ailments.
🍀 *Hulbah relieves urine retention and works as a laxative.*
🍀 _When it is placed on the erratic nail, it will heal it, while its oil helps against cracked skin due to extreme cold (when it is mixed with wax). There are many other benefits for the Hulbah (Fenugreek)._
🍀One of fenugreek’s basic herbal uses is to stimulate milk production in breastfeeding women.
🍀 *It as well induces childbirth, containing phytoestrogens or plant chemicals similar to the female sex hormone estrogen.*
🍀 _Other uses include relieving digestive problems and menopausal symptoms, but lately it’s had a resurgence in interest as an aphrodisiac._
🍀Fenugreek is also used as a remedy applied to the skin to treat infections and inflammation.
🍀 *Roasting and grinding of fenugreek seeds are advised before food use.*
🍀 _Studies show it not only has the ability to lower blood sugar levels but fight cancer._

💎 *Ten Points for the First Ten days of Dhul-Hijjah*
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الحمد لله و الصلاة و السلام على نبيينا محمد و على آله و سلم
1. The first ten days are actually nine days with the addition of the day of Eid. It is called the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, but only nine of it is for fasting as the tenth day is the beginning of Eid. It is impermissible to fast on the day of Eid, this is a consensus amongst the people of knowledge.
2. It is permissible to fast the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah with the last day being the day of Arafah for those not doing Hajj. The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said in a hadith narrated by ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما (in at-Tirimidhi): “There are not any days that good deeds are more beloved to Allah than those done in these ten days.”
3. In these days, it is recommended that there is a lot of remembrance of Allah سبحان و تعالى - this is for all of the ten days.
4. In these days, it is recommended that one makes takbir of Allah (saying Allahu akbar) - this is for all of the ten days.
5. In these days, it is recommended to read the Qur’an as much as possible and give charity - this is for all of the ten days.
6. The ninth day is the day of Arafah. The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه و سلم said in an authentic narration: “Verily on the day of Arafah there is expiation of sins for the year before and the year after” (narrated by Abi Qatada رضي الله عنه, reported in Sahih Muslim and At-Tirmidhi). So therefore it is a great day, so it is recommended to fast that day for those not doing Hajj. Fasting is only permissible for the first nine days as the tenth day is the day of Eid.
7. Allah تعالى said: “That they may witness things that are of benefit to them (i.e. reward of Hajj in the Hereafter, and also some worldly gain from trade), and mention the name of Allah on appointed days (i.e. 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah), over the beast of cattle that He has provided for them (for sacrifice). (Surah al-Hajj: 28). Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما said: “The appointed days are the days of Arafah (9th), an-Nahr (10th) and the days of Tashreeq (11th, 12th and 13th ).
8. Whoever wishes to slaughter in these days it is not allowed to cut or remove any hair from his body or his nails, but this does not apply to his family, only the head of the family who is doing the slaughtering.
9. The ruling regards to slaughtering:
a. An individual who slaughters from his own wealth on behalf of himself and his family - It is not permissible for this individual to shave any hair from his body, remove any part of his skin or cut his nails.
b. An individual who slaughters from his own wealth for others e.g. he wishes to slaughter for his father or his mother - He too must not cut his hair, take from his skin or cut his nails.
c. Anybody who wishes to slaughter with someone else's wealth, for somebody else .e.g. He has been entrusted by someone else to slaughter cattle for him - This individual is allowed to cut his hair, nails and skin etc.
10. Eid Al-Adha is four days in total: the tenth (the day of Eid prayer) and the days of tashreeq (the eleventh, twelve and thirteenth days of Dhul-Hijjah). It is impermissible to fast in these days for those not performing the Hajj. The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه و سلم said: “The days of Tashreeq are days for eating, drinking and remembering Allah عز و جل” (narrated by Abi al-Maleeh رضي الله عنه, reported in Sahih Al-Muslim). Allah سبحان و تعالى said: "And remember Allah during the appointed Days." (Surah Al-Baqarah: 203).
و الحمد لله رب العالمين
Taken from the works of Al-Imam Al-Baghawee, Al-Alaamah bin Baz and Al-Alaamah Ibn Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on them all and all the scholars of the Sunnah.

*Abu Bakr turned around and he was crying [Inspirational Story]*
3258 – On the authority of Rabeeyah al-Asslamee who said : I used to serve the Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– and he gave me some land, and he gave Abu Bakr some land, and when it came to dividing the land, we differed over a cluster of dates from a date palm tree. Abu Bakr said : this is on my side of the land! And I said : It is on my side! There used to be a problem between me and Abu Bakr, and Abu Bakr said a statement to me which I hated but he regretted saying it, so he said to me: ‘O Rabeeyah! Say something to me similar to what I said to you, so that it can be a requital.’
So I said : ‘I will not say it.’
Abu Bakr said : ‘You will say it or I will request the Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– to order you to say it.
So I said : ‘I will not say it.’
Abu Bakr left that portion of the land for me and went off to the Prophet –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– and I followed him. The people from my tribe followed us and said to me: ‘May Allaah have mercy on Abu Bakr, why is he going to the Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam–about you, and he said what he said about you.’
So I said : ‘Do you know who this is?? This is Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq, he is one of the two who were in the cave, he is one who has grown old as a Muslim ( one of the elders of the Muslims), beware he does not turn around and see you assisting me against him and becomes angry and he meets the Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– , and the Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– will become angry due to him being angry, and then Allaah Azza wa Jal becomes angry due to them being angry and then Rabeeyah will be destroyed.’
They said : ‘What do you order us to do?’
I said : ‘Go back.’
Abu Bakr –RadhiAllaahu anhu- went off to the Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– , so I followed him by myself, until he reached the Prophet –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– and he told him the story as it was. The Prophet –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– raised his head towards me and said: ‘O Rabeeyah what’s the matter between you and as-Siddeeq?’
I said : ‘O Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– such and such happened, and he said a statement to me which I disliked, then he said to me, say something similar to what I said to you so that it can be requited, but I refused.’
Then the Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– said: ‘Yes, do not say a word back to him, but say: May Allaah forgive you O Abu Bakr. May Allaah forgive you O Abu Bakr.’
Hasan said: ‘Abu Bakr turned around and he was crying.’
