Women going out to the Eid Prayer

❝Women going out to the two Eid prayers is a stressed Sunnah, however, with the condition that they go out to it covered - without tabarruj.❞
📚 [Fatāwā Al-Lajnah Ad-Dā'imah (v. 8 p. 287)

❝I hold the view that women should be commanded with going out to the Eid place of prayer [in order] for them to witness good and join the Muslims in their prayers and suuplications. However, it is a must upon them that they go out [to it] without tabarruj nor perfumed [so that they may] join between performing the Sunnah and avoiding fitnah.❞
📚 Majmū Al-Fatāwā (v. 16 p. 211)

❝Tabarruj is to display beauty and that which causes fitnah like [a woman] displaying her hair, face, neck and the jewellery on her ears and neck. All of this is called tabarruj.❞

🔖 Three People to Stay Away From
•••══❁✿❁══•••
It is reported that ʿAli b. ʾAbi Talib (Allaah be pleased with him)said:

🚨 Do not be with the sinner (fājir), for he will beautify to you the things he does, and he will want you to be like him; and he will beautify to you the worst of his practices; and his entrance upon you and leaving from your company will cause ignominy and discredit [of you].

🚨 And do not accompany the fool (aḥmaq), for he will exhaust himself [to help you] but will not benefit you, and he may want to benefit you but end up harming you; his silence is better than his speaking, his distance is better than his closeness, and him dying is better than him living.

🚨 And do not accompany the liar, for life will not benefit you with him, he will tell others what you say, and tell you what others say; and if you speak the truth, it will not be believed.

Remembrance of Allaah During The Day of 'Arafah

*FOR INDIANS ...*
*When is the Fasting of Day of Arafah?*
•••• •••• •••• •••• ••••

*Should Indians fast when the Hajis gather in the ground of Arafah (20 Aug 2018)? or on 9th of Zul Hijjah (21 Aug 2018)?*

Correct answer is to fast on 9th of Zul Hijjah
*(Tuesday, 21 Aug 2018)*

*1) In Hadith, Prophet (ﷺ) said Fasting of DAY of Arafah not just Arafah.*

DAY of Arafah is on 9th of Zil Hijjah and not on any other day even if hajis gather at Arafah.

*► PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:*
I seek from ALLAH that fasting on the Day of 'Arafa (9th Zul-Hijjah) may atone (remove) for the sins of the preceding and the coming year.

(SAHIH MUSLIM Vol #3, Hadith #2746-2747)
(SUNAN IBN MAJAH Vol #2, Hadith #1730)
(SUNAN ABU DAWUD Vol #3, Hadith #2425)

*2) Fasting is mentioned along with Arafah to correlate it with ground of Arafah as Hajis gather there which is on 9th. While Hajis they themselves do not fast in ground of Arafah.*

*3) Also Americans can never fast in their lifetime because there will be night in America while Hajis are in ground of Arafah.*

A Forgotten/Abandoned Sunnah When Asked "How Are You?"

سال عمر الرجل كيف أنت؟
فقل: أحمد الله إليك
فقل عمر الرجل:
ذلك الذي أردة منك

Anās b. Mālik رضي الله عنه reported that he heard 'Umar b. al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه asked a man: "How are you?"

He said: "Ahmad-Allaahu Ilayk (I praise Allāh to you)." So 'Umar said to the man: "That is what I wanted (to hear) from you."

The Prophet ﷺ asked a man: “O so and so how are you this morning?”

He said: “Aḥmadullaahu Ilayk (I praise Allāh to you) O Messenger of Allāh.”

So the Prophet ﷺ said: “This is what I wanted (to hear) from you.”
