Ibn Abbaas (رضي الله عنهما) reports that
Prophet Muhammad (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said:

“Educate people. And use words that will motivate them to do good. And do not say things that will break their courage. And when you become angry, remain silent”.

Musnad Ahmed, Hadith: 2136
From The Merits of The Month of Muḥarram Is That Allah Attributed/Ascribed It To Himself

Ibn Rajab (رحمه الله) said: “And verily the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) has called Muḥarram the moth of Allāh. And the attribution/anoscription of it to Allāh indicates its honour and merit since Allāh only attributes/ascribes to Himself that which is distinct/exclusive from His creation as he attributed/ascribed Muḥammad, Ibrāhīm, Isḥāq, Ya’qūb and other than them from the prophets to His servitude/worship (i.e. He called Muḥammad ”His Slave" [Sūrah an-Najm:10] and the aforementioned “Our Slaves” [Sūrah Ṣād:45]) and He attributed/ascribed to Himself His house (i.e. the Ka’bah by saying: “My House” [Sūrah al-Baqarah:125]) and His she-camel (by saying: “She-camel of Allāh” [Sūrah al-A’rāf:73]).

Dua to ward off the deception of the Obstinate Shaytans.

Protecting Himself from the Shayaateen.

Ja’far bin Sulaymaan ad-Duba’ee narrated: Aboo at-Tayyaaj narrated to us, he said: “I said to ‘Abdur-Rahmaan bin Khanbash at-Tameemee – and he was an old man – ‘did you reach the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم (during his lifetime)?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘So I said: How did the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم act on the night the shayaateen plotted against him?’ So he said: ‘Indeed the shayaateen descended that night upon the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم from the valleys and mountain paths, and amongst them was a shaytaan, in his hand was a flame of fire, wanting to burn the face of Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم with it. So Jibreel – عليه السلام – descended to him and said: ‘O Muhammad! Say:

What is said to ward off the deception of the Obstinate Shaytaans.

Transliteration:

wa min sharri maa yakhruju minhaa,

Translation:

(( I seek refuge by the complete, perfect words of Allaah, which no righteous one nor wicked one can exceed, from the evil of what He has created, and from the evil of what descends from the heavens, and from the evil of what ascends to them, and from the evil of what is sown in the earth and is created, and from the evil of what comes out from it, and from the evil of the fitan of the night and the day, and from the evil of everyone who comes knocking, except for the one who comes knocking with khayr, O Rahmaan! ))

So it (this du’aa) extinguished their fire, and Allaah تبارك و تعالى defeated them.” [2]

'Sunnah of Travelling in a Group and Makrooh of Travelling Alone or Two'

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“The (lone) rider is a devil, two riders are two devils and three are a travelling party (jemaah safar).” [Al-Tirmidhi 1674]

These ahaadeeth indicate that it is makrooh to be alone in situations where a man fears for himself because of weakness, severe exhaustion or hardship, or when he fears that the shaytaan may tempt him and mislead him. The benefit of being with righteous companions is not limited to help and support, rather the most important thing is that it helps him to remain steadfast and pious, for the shaytaan is further away from two.

[Fath al-Baari 6/53]

#AdabSafar
It was narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) – in a hadeeth that has many corroborating reports and isnaads – that he said: “Allaah will judge between His creation, jinn, men and animals. On that Day, Allaah will let the hornless animal settle its score with the horned until, when there is nothing left to be settled, Allaah will say to them, ‘Be dust.’ At that point the kaafir will say, ‘Would that I were dust.’”

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, *"You will follow the ways of those nations who were before you, span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e., inch by inch) so much so that even if they entered a hole of a Lizard 🦎, you would follow them." We said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! (Do you mean) the Jews🕍 and the Christians?" He said, "Whom else?"*

Imām Bukhārī’s respect for hadīth.

Imām Bukhārī once went to see a man in order to hear a Ḥadīth.

The man’s horse had run away from him and stood at a distance.

To make the horse walk towards him he lifted his shirt and acted as if he had barley inside it and began to tempt the animal, this made the animal come back to him, allowing the man to catch it.

Imām Bukhārī asked the man if he really did have barley in his shirt, to which the reply was: “No, I only did it to bring the horse back.”

Imām Bukhārī said: “By Allāh, I will not narrate from you! How can I take a blessed hadīth of the Holy Prophet from a man who lies to animals!?”

Imam Shafi’ narrated that Imam Malik said:

“Whenever Imam ibn Shihab az-Zuhri entered the city of Madinah, no scholar would dare narrate a Hadith there until he left.”

Seek the pleasure of Allah only:

In an authentic hadeeth collected by Imaam Ibn Hibbaan in his Saheeh (no.276), the Messenger of Allaah (may Allaah raise his rank and grant him peace) said:

مَنِ الْتَمَسَ رِضَى اللَّهِ بِسَخَطِ النَّاسِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، وَأَرْضَى النَّاسَ عَنْهُ، وَمَنِ الْتَمَسَ رِضَا النَّاسِ بِسَخَطِ اللَّهِ سَخَطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَأَسْخَطَ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسَ.

“Whoever seeks the Pleasure of Allaah while angering the people will have Allaah pleased with him, who shall make the people pleased with him [anyway]. Whoever seeks to please the people while angering Allaah will have Allaah angry with him, who shall make the people angry with him [anyway].”
Worried about provision? Worried due to limited income? Debt?

If you have debt like a mountain, Allaah will pay it off for you. Allah will be sufficient for you and you won't be in need of anyone's help.

Make this your regular duaa:
« اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ »
*Allaahumma akfini bi halaalika ‘an haraamika wa aghnini bi fadlika ‘amman siwaaka*
(O Allaah, suffice me with what You have permitted so that that I have no need of that which You have forbidden, and make me independent of means by Your bounty so that I have no need of anyone besides You).’”

Narrated Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "How can I be comfortable when the one with the horn is holding it in his lips and his forehead is leaning forward, waiting to be given permission to blow?" The Muslims said: "So what should we say, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Say: 'Allah is sufficient for us and what a good protector He is. We rely upon [our Lord] Allah'" - and perhaps Sufyan (one of the narrators) said: "upon Allah we rely."

Whoever Keeps Himself Busy With Allah

Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

"Whoever keeps himself busy seeking Allah instead of himself, Allah will save him from himself, and whoever keeps himself busy with Allah more than people, Allah will save him from people. Whoever keeps himself busy with himself rather than Allah, Allah will leave him to himself, and whoever busies himself with people rather than Allah, Allah will leave him to the people."

THE ORIGIN OF THE NAME RAFIDAH (Shias) AND THEIR CRITICISM FROM SALAAF

Imaam adh-Dhahabee said in his Siyaar A’laam an-Nubalaa (5/390):

قال عيسى بن يونس جاءت الرافضة زيدا فقالوا تبرأ من أبي بكر وعمر حتى
ننصرك قال بل أتولاهما قالوا إذا نرفضك فمن ثم قيل لهم الرافضة

Eesaa bin Yoonus said: The Raafidah came to Zayd ibn `Alee and said to him, “Free yourself from Abee Bakr and ‘Umar so that we can aid you.”He replied, “Rather I will give allegiance to them (i.e. Aboo Bakr and ‘Umar).” They said, “Then we reject you.” So then it was said to them, “ar-Raafidah” (the rejecters).”

Shaykh al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned in his Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (4/435):

It was said to Imaam Ahmad: “Who is the Raafidhee?

He said

Those who insult Abaa Bakr and Umar .And by this they were named the Raafidah for they rejected Zayd bin ‘Alee when he gave allegiance to the two Khaleefah’s Abaa Bakr and ‘Umar so they rejected him because of their hatred for them. And the one who hates them (i.e. Aboo Bakr and ‘Umar is a Raafidhee.” And they were named as the Raafidhah because of their rejection of Abaa Bakr and ‘Umar
