A lie will still be a lie even if the whole of mankind were to agree upon it. Similarly, an evil will be an evil even if the vast majority finds pleasure in doing it. So, do not be dazzled by the abundance of evil O brothers in faith! No matter how much the evil might have spread, it will not be able to harm us if we have Taqwa.

Allaah says: {Say: "Not equal are the bad things and the good things, even though the ABUNDANCE of the bad may please you." So have Taqwa of Allaah, O men of understanding in order that you may be successful}
📚 [Surah Al-Maa’idah (5):100]
Be open to accept Truth (Haqq)

“When Allāh knows that a person does not want the truth, He misguides his heart.”

Ibn ‘Uthaymīn (رحمه الله) [Liqā'āt al-Bab al-Maftūh, (No. 73)]
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr (RA) said: “It was said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): ‘Which of the people is best?’ He said: ‘Everyone who is pure of heart and sincere in speech.’ They said: ‘Sincere in speech, we know what this is, but what is pure of heart?’ He said: ‘It is (the heart) that is pious and pure, with no sin, injustice, rancor or envy in it.’”

(Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 5, Book 37, Hadith 4216)

This should be an aim for all of us…
“The most patient of people is the one who has patience upon the truth.”

‘Ali ibn Abd al-Hamid, Shu'b al-Eeman 9/9568
Ibn Jawzi رحمه الله said to his son:

"Do not let your past carelessness make you lose hope of achieving good, for many people have come back to wakefulness after long sleep."

{Sincere counsel to the seekers of sacred knowledge - ibn Jawzi, P. 56}
Sh Muḥammad b. Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn:

“From the signs of a person’s good manners is his dealings with others and that he is someone easy to be around. His friends and family don’t find it difficult to be in his company nor does he make things difficult upon them.”

'A'isha رضي الله عنها said: "Ask Allāh for everything, even shoelaces, because if Allāh does not make it easy for you to obtain it you will not obtain."

● [Musnad Abū Ya'lā (v.8, p.44)]
Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawẓīyyāh said: “If you would like to know what’s inside a person’s heart, you should listen to what comes out of his mouth.”

What a Mocker Has to Remember About His [or Her] Reality When He [Or She] Mocks at Others

By Imam as Saadi

In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy

Allaah [The Most High] said:

وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَن تَذْبَحُوا بَقَرَةً ۖ قَالُوا أَتَتَّخِذُنَا هُزُوًا ۖ قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ

And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his people: “Verily, Allah commands you that you slaughter a cow.” They said, “Do you make fun of us?” He said, “I take Allah’s Refuge from being among Al-Jahilun (the ignorants or the foolish). [2:67]

A Jaahil [ignorant one] is that one who speaks with a speech that contains no benefit and he mocks at the people. As for a sensible person, he sees that one of the most blameworthy traits -which is abhorred by [sound] religion and intellect- is to mock at someone who is a human being like himself. And if he has been favoured over another person, then this favour necessitates that he thanks Allaah and shows mercy to Allaah’s servants. Therefore, when Musa [alayhis-salaam] said this to them [i.e. I take Allaah’s Refuge from being among the ignorant], they knew that it [i.e. what he commanded them] was truth, so they said: [ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِيَ -call upon your Lord for us that He may make plain to us what it is!(2:68)]

Horrors of the Grave

Hudhayfah related: "We were with the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) at a funeral and when we arrived at the grave [in which the deceased was to be buried] he sat down on its edge and looked repeatedly in it then said: "The believer shall be squeezed in the grave; a squeeze from which his bones will be broken, while the grave of a disbeliever shall be filled with fire." *

Abu Sa'īd al-Khudrī narrated that the Messenger of Allāh (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said: "When a funeral is ready and the men carry the deceased on their necks (shoulders), if it was pious then it will say, 'Present me quickly', and if it was not pious, then it will say, 'Woe to it (me), where are they taking it (me)?' And its voice is heard by everything except mankind and we're they to hear it they would fall unconscious."

It used to be said, ‘For you to have a righteous enemy is better than a wicked friend.

A righteous enemy will be prevented by his faith from wronging you & harming you in way that you detest.

As for a wicked friend, then he doesn’t care how he harms you.’
