*His Heart Is Imprisoned*
Shamsuddeen Muhammad Bin Abee Bakr Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah [D.751 A.H.] [رحمه الله] said:
❝From the greatest means for the constraint of the heart is: Turning away from Allaah [تعالى], and attaching the heart to other than Him. Being negligent of His remembrance, and loving other than Him, since whoever loved something other than Allaah then he is punished with that thing. His heart is imprisoned in loving that other thing. So there is none in this world who is more wretched than him, and none more in a gloomier situation, nor a more miserable survival, nor any one with a more tired / sick heart.❞

The Circles and Gatherings of Knowledge Are Indeed the Gardens of Paradise in This World | Shaykh ʿAbd ar-Razzāq ibn ʿAbd al-Muḥsin al-ʿAbbād
A brief article extolling the virtues of sitting in the gatherings of knowledge, the gardens of paradise in this world.
Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh) said:
“Whoever would like to reside [in] the gardens of Paradise in this world, let him take up residency [in] the gatherings of remembrance, for verily, they are the gardens of Paradise.”
[Shaykh ʿAbd al-Razzāq al-ʿAbbād, Fiqh al-Ad‘iyah Wa-al-Adhkar vol. 1, pg. 29.]
Shaykh ʿAbd ar-Razzāq al-ʿAbbad (hafidhahullāh) said:
Verily, the gatherings of remembrance are the gardens of Paradise in this world.
Imam Aḥmad, at-Tirmidhī and others narrated on the authority of Anas ibn Mālik (raḍi Allāhu ͑anhū) that the Messenger of Allah (ṣallallāhu ͑ alayhī wa-sallam) said: “When you pass by the gardens of Paradise, then feast.” They said: “And what are the gardens of Paradise?” He said: “The circles of remembrance.”[2]
[Furthermore,] Ibn Abī ad-Dunyā and al-Ḥakīm and others have [also] narrated this from the Ḥadith of Jābir ibn ʿAbdillāh (raḍi Allāhu ͑anhū) who said: “The Messenger (ṣallallāhu ͑ alayhī wa-sallam) came to us and said: ‘O people! Feast in the gardens of Paradise.’ So we said: ‘O Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu ͑ alayhī wa-sallam)! What are the gardens of Paradise?’ He said: ‘The gatherings of remembrance.’ Then he said: ‘Remember Allāh in the morning and in the evening, and whoever wishes to know his status with Allāh then let him look to see what Allāh’s status with him is. For indeed, Allāh gives the slave the status the slave has given Him for himself.’”[3] This Ḥadith is ḥasān by virtue of the two aforementioned chains.[4]

If one day...
Muḥammad bin 'Abdillāh bin Zinji al-Baghdādi recited the following poetry to me:
If one day a friend apologizes to you
For a shortcoming, the excuse or a brother is accepted;
So spare him from your harshness and forgive him,
Because tolerance is a quality of every noble man.

🕌 Practice What You Preach
☪️ The Messenger of Allahﷺ said: “A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and thrown into the Fire; his intestines will spill forth in the Fire and he will go around them as a donkey goes around the millstone.
The people of Hell will gather around him and will say: O So and so, what is the matter with you? Did you not enjoin us to do what is good and forbid us to do what is evil?
He will say: Yes, but I used to enjoin good and not do it, and I used to forbid evil and do it.”

The Denoscription of the Worldly Women in Jannah
7. Their Brilliance!
Upon the authority of Anas Ibn Maalik – Radhiyallahu ‘anhu – who said that the Messenger of Allah – Sallallahu alaihi Was Salam – Said: "..If a woman from the women of Jannah were to appear in this world, that which is between (the heavens and the earth) would be filled with her (beautiful) fragrance. And they would illuminate that which is between the heavens and the earth.."
8. The brilliant beauty of their garments alone
The previous hadeeth continues..
".. The scarf that is on her head is better than the world and that which is upon it!"
(Collected By Tirmidhi (1651) and declared ‘Saheeh’ by Shaikh Al Albaani in Saheeh Sunan At Tirmidhi)
And as some of the salaf said: "If this is her scarf (or shawl) then what about her!. Think of All the tremendous beauty that is present in our present world and know that one of her accessories alone is better than it all!
