Imam Ibn al-Qayyim: (May Allāh have mercy on him)
Qurʾān: Quality over Quantity
“If the people knew the sweetness, and benefits in pondering over the Qurʾān when reading it, they would have kept themselves busy with nothing else but reading Qurʾān.
For reading and pondering over one verse is better than a ḵẖatma (completion of the whole Qurʾān) without contemplation nor understanding. It's also more beneficial to the heart, attains Īmān and makes one taste the sweetness of the Qurʾān.”

Our Shaykh, Muhammad Ibn Hizaam- may Allaah preserve him - was asked the following question:
📩 Question:
It has become widespread in Russia that people respond to questions by saying, "Shaytaan knows the answer". So what is the ruling of this statement, as well as the one who frequently replies with this response?
📝Answer :
We seek refuge with Allaah!
This statement is absolutely false. In fact, it can lead one to disbelief if it's cited concerning obscure matters of the unseen. It is incumbent upon a Muslim to attribute all knowledge of the unseen to Allaah alone -Subhanahu wa Ta'aala-.
The Shaytaan only knows what he has seen or heard, he does not have knowledge of the unseen. Knowledge of the unseen is exclusive to our lord -Jala wa 'Aalaa- (as Allaah said):
(قُل لَّا یَعۡلَمُ مَن فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡغَیۡبَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۚ وَمَا یَشۡعُرُونَ أَیَّانَ یُبۡعَثُونَ)
'Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “None in the heavens and the earth has knowledge of the unseen except Allaah. Nor do they know when they will be resurrected.' [Surat An-Naml 65]
* عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِ أَحَدًا}
{إِلَّا مَنِ ارْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٍ
"˹He (alone) is the˺ Knower of the unseen, disclosing none of it to anyone. Except messengers of His choice."
[Surat Al-Jinn 26 - 27]
Allah -'Aza wa Jala- said after the death of Sulaymaan -alayhe salaatul wa salaam-
Then when We decreed death for him [Sulaiman (Solomon)], nothing informed them (jinns) of his death except a little worm of the earth, which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his Minsa'ah, so when he fell down, the jinns saw clearly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have stayed in the humiliating torment.
[Surat Saba' 14]
Minsa'ah refers to his stick.
So this statement is false and upon clear misguidance, and it may cause a person to fall into Kufr (disbelief) if it's cited in reference to matters specific to Allaah alone; this falls into disbelief in Allaah -Jala wa 'Alaa-

Preparing for the last ten nights of Ramadhaan
Shaikh Ibn al-Uthaymeen
بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد
Chapter: Being generous and diligent in doing what has been enjoined, and increasing in doing more good deeds in the Month of Ramadhaan, and especially more in the last ten days of Ramadhaan.
1222 - Ibn Abbaas رضي الله عنه said: ❝The Prophet ﷺ was the most generous of the people, and he used to be the most generous during the month of Ramadhaan when Jibreel visited him, and Jibreel used to meet him on every night of Ramadhaan till the end of the month. The Prophet ﷺ used to recite the Qur’aan to Jibreel, and when Jibreel met him, he used to be more generous than a fast (rain-bearing) wind (which causes welfare).❞
[Saheehain]
1223 - Aaishah رضي الله عنها narrated: ❝When the last ten days of Ramadhaan began, the Prophet ﷺ used to stay up at night, tighten his waist- wrap, and wake up his family (to pray).❞

1. The giver
2. The receiver
3. The wealth itself
It is a pillar of Islam.
Zakāh is a means for divine blessings to descend upon one’s wealth.
Abandoning it out of stinginess is a major sin.

On the authority of Ibn Umar radiAllahu anhu who said:
❝A man came to the Prophet [ﷺ] said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah! Which of the people are the most beloved to Allaah and which of the actions are most beloved to Allaah?’
The Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] said: ‘The most beloved of the people to Allaah are the most beneficial for the people. The most beloved of actions to Allaah [عز و جل] are to cause happiness to reach a Muslim, to relieve him from a hardship, to settle a debt for a Muslim or to repel hunger from him. For me to walk with a brother in order to assist him is more beloved to me than to make ‘Itikaf in this Masjid [Masjid al-Madeenah] for a month.
Whoever holds back his anger then Allaah hides his mistakes. Whoever suppresses his anger – even though he is not scared to show it, but withholds due to the truth – Allaah fills his heart with hope on the day of Judgement.
Whoever walks with his brother to assist him with a need until he has helped him completely, then Allaah plants his feet firmly on the day people will not stand firmly. Indeed bad behaviour spoils good actions, just as vinegar spoils honey.’❞
